I had no idea y'all owned hobbytown usa lol. I bought a element Enduro Trail walker a few days ago on hobbytown usa website and I get a email from them and also y'all lol that's pretty neat lol
I would also recommend a good sturdy, somewhat lightweight (doesn't have to be carbon fiber or titanium, remember!) bumper, as this will most likely pay for itself from all those part bills. The way I see it, a bumper pretexts most of you r front suspension, including the arms, hub carriers, all of those things. It is also usually cheaper then upgrading all of your front suspension components. Of course, it won't make your car bullet proof, as if you hit something hard with one of the front wheels at a weird angle, you probably will break something, unless your bumper curves around the front wheels, go-kart style. I found that a bumper can also put your mind a peace, without a bumper, I was constantly worried about wrecking my car, and having to buy new parts and install them. When I let someone else drive my car, it was even worse, I was clenching my teeth and cringing whenever they hit anything. It could just be me overreacting though...
Yes, typically you can unplug the old servo from the receiver port 1 (steering), and plug in the new servo to the same port. Typically you have to readjust the steering trim adjustment on the transmitter if the new servo center point is different than the old servo, and recenter the steering. If it's your first time picking out a servo I recommend you give us a call or consult an R/C friend for guidance. -Brett
Storytime: I was out driving rc with my friend (1:10th scale onroad), mine was on 3s lipo (aggressive!) and i crashed with 60kmh into my friends car. The nimh that i lent him and was in it, flew out, and with it the tamiya plug from the battery. So i thought just solder a t plug on so he can run my 3s lipos. All my lipos run on t plugs and my cars too
I use Traxxas id on my Traxxas (Slash4x4,Rustler4x4) and Spectrum on my Arrma's (Voltage,Typhon) mainly because I have the id charger and I know spectrum batteries charge on it with $4 adapter
Saving money is a powerful tool Clayton. My first hobby-grade R/C truck was earned working for my grandpa in the yard, stacking fire wood and hammering down deck nails. There was many hours of work, and many months of saving, but eventually that truck was mine! Saving and waiting will make your new R/C that much more special to you. You definitely deserve a sub! Also I kinda struggle finding the correct wheels and tires for my rc car but I’ll find them eventually. I’m kinda new to rc cars but I just upgraded my wltoys 10409 to brushless and it’s a beast but when I click the accelerator sometimes it doesn’t stat and just does a tr TR TRRR noise and then starts and goes but people have been telling me that it’s quite normal in fact it doesn’t affect the driving and happens rarely but just wanted to know if it’s actually a problem. Informative video. Thanks. In what category would you put a mod such as venting tires and closing up the rim vent holes? BTW, does AMain sell that little brass tubing drill bit that I see people on YT using to drill nice clean vent holes in their tires?
Maybe a little in the performance and durability categories. I think of the venting mod as a preventative measure to preserve the current performance when operating in water/snow/mud/sand. But it not only preserves the performance, but also the electronic efficiency, to keep temperatures safe, and prevent electronic failure. Great mod to keep in mind! -Brett

What tires are you putting on the E-Revo around 5:25 ? I’ve been looking for good on road tires for mine and haven’t been able to find anything that is the right size.
Yes and No. We recommend you do not charge any LiPo battery to 100% unless you are going to use it within a few hours. If you must charge the night before, be sure you have Balanced Charged the LiPo. When you charge to 100% the night before, the downside is the LiPo battery will experience some degradation from sitting idle at 100% full; and sometimes the LiPo will "puff" or swell. The degradation to the LiPo will be minimal, as long as you do not do this often. Don't make a habit of it in other words. Hope that helps! -Brett
It's more common with crawlers, but commonly guys will add a second front axle to the rear end, and then add a second steering servo to it. This way, you can have independent front and rear steering. -Brett
