Jon - Thank you SOOOOO much for the "transmitter stick camera" - It is GREAT to see what you are doing on the sticks - VERY much appreciated. Maybe this can be EXCLUSIVE to your videos because nobody else seems to be doing it 🙏😊👍
@@TwoBrosRC I will look out for it, I do have the Turbo Timber Evo. I also have the Horizon Hobby Ultimate and Extra 300 in their boxes still 😉- Thanks
WE went flying yesterday morning. Im getting good with YOUR KEFS! Not only can i do it on my night timber x, but i did it (sorta! 😜🤯) on my 2013 blue carbon cub ss! 👍
Love the tutorials and you got me so excited about learning 3D, I picked up an Ultimate myself. Survived maiden day, just got the weight out of the nose and looking forward to trying to recreate some of these moves. Thanks for all the help!
great video and love the stick cam view ............this plane can do amazing things with the right advanced skilled pilot .....asking as an intermediate pilot and someone who has been flying for about a year now, can you create a stick cam video ( with a detailed narrative ) on some of the basic maneuvers for the pilot wanting to learn and practice exactly how these maneuvers are accomplished...thanks much
My 3D skills need a lot of polishing. I've been focusing way too much on jets. I'll be going out and doing some 3D maneuvers today on water, so look out for that!
Thanks Chris! Absolutely, they should be as good or better than Horizon's 13g servos - they should also be almost identical in size, too. The B11DLS servos are somewhat larger than the stock servos I tend to replace. This even goes for the 9g Freewing servos I replace too.
Great video and thank you ! I am just learning the 3d flying and I guess you assign specific switch(of transmitter) for different style of flying(harrier, knife edge..). Can you teach me ? I read e-flite setup manual but couldn't find it.
The harrier mixing is there to help create stability at high angles of attack. We don't use knife edge mixing - that's best done by learning the stick inputs required.
@@TwoBrosRC Thanks for helping and really appreciate it but I am still hungry. I'd like to buy E-flite Ultimate 3d, but still don't know how to handle it. I am trying to check 'Radiolink A560 3d airplane'. The A560 has two dedicated transmitter switches for Harrier and aerobatic flying , but E-flite Ultimate 3d doesn't have this knid of switch settings. So, I can't imagine the 3d flying on E-flite Ultimate airplane. I'd like to know this kind of details - BTW, I can do inverted flight with E-flite 1.2m Mustang recently. Have a good weekends~
@@Jackie-nf4pj It really doesn't need it which is why you don't see us using it on this model. It flies stable without it, unlike the E-flite Extra 300.
Wow, that wasn't even a violent landing! Just a bit hoppy. Feeling relieved to see a pilot as good as you still manage to mangle that strut. Seems like a singularly disappointing part on that plane. I'm honestly considering taking it to a machine shop and seeing if they can make me either a steel strut or just a slightly thicker gauge aluminum. The strut on my Valiant would tolerate all kinds of abuse but if you LOOK at the Ultimate's gear wrong it turns to a wet noodle apparently.
Yeah, it's not exactly amazing and the wheels aren't very large either. Weak struts combined with small wheels lead to continually deteriorating gear struts. I got this model on a discount from Hangar to talk about the shop as their demo pilot; I won't say that the model is amazing in every way - it flies well but the struts are definitely a weak point if the landing strip isn't short grass or completely smooth pavement.
Hi, great channel! Got the same plane. My elevator servo startet to shiver after some flights. I bought two new savöx servo. When connecting them to this plane (stock recever) these servos make noise although I don't stear. They shiver a little bit, too. Even when I turn of AS3X. Do you got an idea how to get it solved? Thx
I got Dubro Products 3" Super Slim Lite Wheels DUB300SSL for this model. They don't look too bad and help a lot with the grass landings. FYI

Thanks man! Glad you're enjoying it. I just got back from shooting three different float planes with the transmitter view turned on for each one, too.
@@TwoBrosRC That is GREAT! - I live on a private lake and fly some float planes. I cannot wait to see your videos 😊
@@re3065 You'll see a short posted soon which is a clip from tomorrow's upload on the Turbo Timber Evo. ;)

This is my favorite plane that I own.
Thanks for sharing.
Anytime. I know it's not as popular to show, even with the transmitter view, but here's hoping it helps you if there's some moves you wanted to learn.

I could probably do that. You might have to remind me though. I have a schedule of things I plan to shoot and it takes me a while to work requests in.
Nice looking plane. VERY snappy! 👍🏻
Way more fun to fly when it's not windy, too.
Fantastic job on both flights Jon👍👍
I need to remember to call you out when I'm torque rolling one of these days.
@@TwoBrosRC I'll do the same for you Jon whenever I do a hover with any of my 3d park flyers sadly not munch are able to torque roll☹️☹️
@6:59 sure helps a lot Mr Jon without the h
Nice i have one as well haven't flown yet...it maybe time nice flying didn't know you could fly 3 D too....should of figured so

You have some quick fingers Jon! Do you think these servos would be a good swap out for the E-Flite 13g Micro Servo?

Hey do you still like those servos? Amazon reviews seems to be a little off...?
We use them in a ton of airframes. They're still going strong in a variety of applications.

I threw some rubber, treaded 2.25 dubros on mine. I have some baldies that are a little heavier I could try too

Thanks! I'm not sure, could be frame rate. If you unlock the receiver you can set the frame rate on all servo channels to 22ms which might fix it.
@@TwoBrosRC Hi Jon, great to hear directly from you. I am a fan of your stuff! Thank you i will try to set the frame rate. 👍👍😀
This plane should have been a little bigger its Squirrley aa hell
It's much better with the nose weight removed.
Good grief, man . If you are going to do reviews on anything, . go get a mic.
Sock so people can actually understand what the heck you are saying !
