- The world's craziest big wave riders cheat death with these extreme big wave wipeouts at MexPipe on the biggest swell ever ridden at Puerto Escondido, Mexico but the three craziest wipeouts went to Francisco Porcella, Lapo Coutinho and Pedro Calado.
As dangerous as a car crash, more deadly than a train wreck, more risky than a shark attack, these thrill seekers layed their lives on the line at Playa Zicatela, Oaxaca for the ultimate daredevils prize: survival. Amazing that a beach break can hold waves that big. Getting dragged over the falls on one of those beasts must be an absolute nightmare.

I was there in my first travel to Puerto, watching the gladiators, show!
My cousins Goats and Baron knowlton and Peter Mendia from Lake worth pier Florida used to surf puerto maxing out in the 80s and 90 up until this day! It's a special beach break best in the world for big barrels! No place on earth like it! Theyve told me some crazy stories..
Would love to hear just the ocean sound track. My friends first surfed Puerto Escondido in 1974....we were in El Salvador (Punta Roca) for 2.5 months, I stayed there and they drove up with friend who was native of Panama and knew about the spot. Anyway, as a long-time pro musician I cannot connect this metal music with the ocean. With the sound down though....wow, great wave footage and kudos to anyone paddling out there to brave it.

Totally on point. The heavy metal music does not even represent Mexico. If theres no music background available, just do RAW videos with just wave sounds like they do with most of Ocean Beach SF youtube videos.
@@autoselectricos-americalat9276 The other one I really like that does natural ocean sound is ODL (off da lip) and most of their videos are pipeline in Hawaii so the sound of the waves is great.

The pounding these guys take especially with the waves crashing down on them. Guess that’s what extra strength Tylenol is good for lol😂 I can only imagine what people trying to get up the wave and then being brought down with no idea how their fall is going to be has to be frightening beyond belief
