- Jamie O'Brien decided to show everyone today that not only does he still dominate pipeline, but that he's actually looking better than ever. With the added paddle power of his trusty pink soft-top, he was able to sit further out and take off deeper than any of the other pros in the lineup. Then he would scream down the face and somehow wipe off all the speed, allowing himself to collect the maximum amount of tube time that each wave offered. Seriously an impressive thing to witness. Enjoy 🤙

No doubt, he was probably watching it from his house getting ready to paddle out anyway. Shows up and just puts on a clinic. Heaps of advantage with that board but that's very skillful to be able to maneuver a sponge hard bottom like that at Pipe. He just came out in schooled everybody, currently he is the number one guy at pipe so nobody really challenges him for waves that he wants.
Yea, he's number one. And has twice the paddling power with that, so he can sit outside and catch the sets or catch the insiders that form up nice. What a life 🤙

Crazy. So much water moving...so shallow and dangerous. Glad no one got hurt. One thing I will say is that I'm super stoked to see Koa Smith boosting huge airs out of the barrel there. Can't really say anyone else is getting quite as high or going for it quite like he is. Really cool to see. Thanks as always for the footage!

He just went into the pipe masters as favourite and finished 11th maybe he should have ridden the 9'0 log instead of his Tokoro.
