Insulate the exhaust manifolds, rear engine cars are prone to overheating/catching fire. The exhaust manifold is the hottest part of your engine. It will also help a little with power. Your preserve temperature in your flue gas (good for power).
The originals had heatshields. You want to prevent the heat leaking into the engine bay. You just want to get to the turbo and then evacuate through the exhaust. The turbos can handle a lot of heat as they are oil and water cooled. A manifold won't melt on its own, unless bad designed. I think coating the inside would restrict flow again and maybe be of risk for the turbos (flaking off).
Wrap the manifolds to reduce heat emission, Funk Motorsport do a really good titanium exhaust wrap, I used it on my Lotus Exige branch manifold, worked really well. Great video, one of your best. 🤘👍
What Mat and Tony Armstrong do together is truly amazing. With what they know together and with having Freddy Tarvarish consulting I don't think there is anything that cannot do.

At 8:15 in the video, you can see the inside of the original chassis is not a simple box section.
