Really enjoyed seeing the distant drone angle showing the full scenario. Its interesting to see how the lineup plays out and gives some more perspective to all the stories I've heard over the years.
I surfed “pipe” about 20 years ago as a teenager. Coming from the gulf coast it was the coolest thing ever. It was in the summer and not prime time, but slightly overhead in my gulf coast perspective. No one was out. JOB paddles out, I knew, but was trying to play cool like I didn’t know. He was super down to earth, some small talk(never acknowledged to him that I knew) and gave some pointers about the lay out. Always remembered that.
I agree ,JOB is one of the most focused , all around truly skilled waterman doing it these days. He’s been fully committed and a first at creative content that spawned a living for half of the guys on the north shore and one in particular on the east coast. A lot of people owe him a lot and what I’ve seen with his surf school is outstanding and a real benefit to surfing as a whole. He’s the master of the backside rail grab for sure and he’ll share the skill with anyone who asks.You don’t get a lot of ata boys bro , so I thought I’d throw you a couple ! Your a great example, and always hard charging . Stay healthy and take it all in as much as you can , you deserve it ! Your always so entertaining to watch, 🫵🏼🏆🤙🏽
when I was kid growing up in Margaret River Western Australia I wanted to be one of three things when I grew up. an astronaut, a legend guitar hero & a surfer. you are literally living the dream. well done & thanks for sharing.

The advent of the drone has taken surf videos to a new level of enjoyment for me. I always loved the wide shots in the old days and wished for more. There were some long shots at the end of Koa's video looking towards H from behind Sharks Cove that....just put the whole package together. It's good to "still" be alive. Started frothing watching it, and I rarely froth rarely Jamie was watching my last wave since getting barrelled in Domes PR with Kelly taking pictures the exact last day I left for good. Ive been carrying a 60lbs backpack since june and my legs are juiced. I dont know about my lungs but my legs are probably the best that have ever been. Watching jamie attempt to catch 25ft pipe waves and how great was selection out there the drone footage making the waves look perfect, I might have tried to go for a crowd roaring aerial on a crescent tail bodyboard. Just blast off for the pipe crowd make them witness something magical like the wave itself. Then go back in with the bat tail and put some respect on that wave doing reverses and 360 combinations at the same time almost underneath that lip and obviously get barreled. Take care Jamie, thanks a ton for getting the off the couch champions frothing like this. I for sure would have bottom turned and hit an aerial without fear to the flats on a day like this just to feel im back in 2006 riding perfect waves of all sizes every day!
I was on drop knee that day Jamie was on indicators teaching groms on soft tops with his elbow on the board watching me getting tubular time for a long time like 120 yard in domes from the peak alone. Lol. I got so good for it to end suddenly like always something happens.
