Thanks Annie. I am 5'3 as well and a bit heavy so purchased a medium Altus and had Caminoteca post to me in Australia (in preparation for my 2020 camino that didn’t happen). It absolutely swims on me so thought I probably should have got a small, but after watching your video I think the size is right…the extra length and room is a good thing. Loving all your informative videos :)
Hi, thanks for the useful review! I'm curious what is the backpack capacity that you have on in the video? I want to know so I can decide on the size that would fit over a 40 to 60 l backpack and still cover all the way down to my knees
Annie I am 5ft 0 I have just got my Altus Poncho it's the newer one no velcro on the cuffs. I too have short arms and find it difficult to pull the pocho off my pack when I initially put it on any tips apart from that I love it.
I'm not sure why you'd want to pull it off your pack? I just let it hang from my pack while I'm walking. It has never blown off. I sometimes leave the bottom velcro hooked in front.
