Good morning Annie ! I was with you on your second group walk in 2012. I was celebrating my 70th birthday! I loved the walk and you. Since then I’ve been back twice and will go again this year, the 20th anniversary of my first pilgrimage and celebrating my 80th year. AND, the best part is meeting up with you along the way. Thank you for all you do. It opened up the world for me.
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and experience, Annie. My husband and I have retired to Galicia and I’m hoping to walk the Camino Frances with two friends sometime in 2022. Your videos have been so helpful!
Thank you for sharing this. Really interesting what you doctor said about long distance hiking helping to reduce one's body's environmental toxic load. I believe I suffer from that, too, and it made me wonder whether that is why I'm so drawn to the Camino and thru-hiking in general.
It really has been miraculous for me. When I come back from the Camino, I just feel "normal" again and over the years, I've gotten progressively better.
