"Hits you like a sledgehammer with lipstick on it!"
I'll have to remember that one.
🇬🇧 Norfolk love these as well digging it
Scardust are brilliant. Noa studied voice with Floor Jansen for a time years back. Scardust has done a number of Nightwish songs, as well as their originals. Such good and accomplished music.
I'm eternally thankful to you wonderful souls in Alabama for sharing SCARDUST with the world on your channel. I'm also happy that you liked the song & Crissy enjoying the bassist. Since I'm a huge fan of their front woman Noa Gruman, here's some information about her:
1. she makes her own stage outfits, produces & edits many of their music videos
2. she also writes the lyrics & co-composes the songs with her friend Orr Didi, who just recently joined the band as their "crazy" bassist
3. she has served her two year military service with the Israeli armed forces
4. Noa also conducts the Hellscore A Cappella metal choir that has performed with bands like e.g. Therion, Ayreon & Amorphis and is also featured in this song
5. she is a classically trained pianist & cellist, although she doesn't play these instruments with Scardust - at least for now
6. she has also been working with the Israeli opera as their 1st soprano & also with the famous Indian conductor of Western classical music, Zubin Mehta
7. a few years back, Noa worked on her extreme vocals with Floor Jansen (After Forever, ReVamp & Nightwish) for two years online and has over an octave wider range (i.e. 4,5 octaves) than Floor.
8. Noa comes from a musical family & her two sisters are also featured in this music video. the older sister is playing the violin, and the younger sister stands out as a member of the choir.
P.S. This is a great example of what Noa can do with her voice: Paradise Lost - Symphony X Acappella cover by Noa Gruman ruclips.net/video/pPg3Dyw2_0k/видео.html with all sounds you can hear coming from her mouth.
and Scardust did a great cover of GLS from NW imo
@@louisminten7889 I agree & also "Amaranth", "Élan" and "Noise".
Orr Didi is the unbelievably talented bassist....he also writes and arranges with Noa ( the female lead singer ) who assembled the choir, called "Hellscore"........
Great reaction to this band. I liked the song. Don’t know much about them, only seen them do a few NightWish covers, witch are pretty good. 🫶🤘
From what I've read, Orr Didi the bassist is blind. Which makes him double impressive with how he moves so confidently around the stage in some of their songs. His spirit of happiness when he performs is so contagious. This band is so impressive.
I hope they are all doing well despite the circumstances of their homeland.
If Nightwish was touring (sadly they are not), they would be a perfect fit as a touring partner. Perhaps in the states they could tour with Dream Theater when their new album comes out? I'd love to see them get more in concert exposure around the world, and of course here in the states so I can go see them in concert!
That was pretty cool. I love checking out new music. Great reaction ya'll.
This band was my best surprise this year 👌 The song Arrowhead was so good.. got stuck in my head for a month 😆 TX !
They had me at the hurdy-gurdy, then it got wicked! Man, they use everything, and it works. And the lyrics are thought provoking; we have clawed our way to supremacy over nature, but at what cost. For me the last lines answer the question and provides the solution; There's a fire that rages, And it's contagious, To move along. We just need to keep striving. Great reaction to a cool song. Stay safe, God bless, and keep rocking.
Another band I absolutely love discovered these guys a while back. Then you're doing a lot of other countries you should do Girish in the Chronicles anything from them from India. And rolling quartz blaze all female band from Korea
My current favourite band along with Epica. Hope you check out their song Dials it's my favorite, Noa the singer is on another level! 🤟
Well now you've gone and done it. I need to check out some more of this very interesting band. That was a "Dig It"reaction!
Check out their song Dials, official video is on RUclips. They are incredible and Noa the vocalist is phenomenal!
Check out Dials! It's the third act of five part series Sands of Time. All songs can be listened to individually.
I love it! Really beautiful and creative progressive music. Officially next level. Thanks for bringing this into my attention!
Thanks for that reaction-video.
Maybe you could react to Pattys Video "Over the Hills and far away", a cool cover of Garry Moores mid-eightees Hit, just her and her Hurdy Gurdy, a cello and a drumset.
By the way, even if many people say that she sounds irish, she is from Düsseldorf (Germany).
You should hear their night wish covers live check out their cover of ghost love score
