I don't think it's a good idea for some people to pit Steve Vai against Tina S. You should think about it more: the fact that you're even comparing a 16-year-old girl with Steve Vai, and that experienced musicians even think she's better than Steve Vai, shows her talent and ability. This is Tina S.'s interpretation and I think this interpretation is better than Steve Vai's because it touches me more. Steve Vai himself always plays this song differently. It would be boring to hear the same version over and over. It's okay to say she plays at Steve Vai's level or better or just below, but when commentators write that it's okay or quite good for her age, then they have no idea about guitar playing or they're simply worried about their guitar god. And if fans are worried about their idol, then that just shows how brilliant Tina is.

I eagerly watched with anticipation the version of Steve Vai doing his live version of the love of god, the one with a classical orchestra! He used his famous reverse whammy bar technic. The whammy bar cat purr also called whammy bar flutter. Well I must say, I really felt disappointed. His whammy bar flutter sounded lame more like a … fart, a mouse fart flutter. On the other hand, Tina’s version and whammy bar flutter «5:46 to 5:53» sounds more like an enraged roaring pissed off wild Bob cat freaking out. Tina was just a normal student who was saying that her studies did not leave her enough time to practice the guitar (actual quote from guitar magazine interview). Imagine if she would have had enough time to really practice the guitar! Oh my God!!!

I must have watched this amazing performance about 30 times and I am still mesmerised. The power that this teenage girl casually delivers is incredible. Yes there are other talented guitar players who can play this piece but, Tina is one step above , she has been studying classical guitar from an early age. Everything is perfect, economy of movement, huge violinist vibrato…..

Marco the bassist, can even play the Stanley Gen 2 20"/500mm 7TPI handsaw, and make it sound like Thor (Pórr/Thunor/Thuner/Thunar/Donar) himself creates the "pun(a)raz to guide Nightwish and their army through the wild and savage journey towards Valhalla. Anyway, I am sure that Tuomas will take Bruce advice in consideration to improve Nightwish performances.. 🙄 😂 Nice and genuine reaction again, guys... It is good to hear your opinion and thoughts being musicians yourself... 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌷 Ps... This performance is somehow sexual. It turns me on. At least 6 (including the last night cap) times a day..
