Great band, Concrete Cages is amazing, you need to hear it
Hello. You just came up on my cue. Always late to the party! Welcome to the most underrated Progressive Metal band in the World! When I first heard them, my soul told me to support them. I have 3 bands now, different countries and genres. This one was their secrete project. They gave us clues before the reveal. So cool. The choir is actually Hellscore. Noa, vocals, conducts, writes and arranges for them. They are a part of the Scardust family. Noa and Orr Didi, bass, are the secrete sauce writing and arranging. Everyone else is so good. They are putting together the next album and I cannot wait for the new guitar to shine. We lost the original Yadin. He will be missed. I hope to see more Scardust from you. Since I always have followed Patty Gurdy and found them through her, I recommend Concrete Cages. This is when my soul went on overdrive! Nice reaction. Till next Scardust or any of my bands. Peace. Well, I see some legends in the comments... so they probably suggested more (as well as told you much about Scardust/Noa/Hellscore :).
What a great surprise from you to make a reaction video to my new favorite (symphonic) progressive metal band from Israel with stellar musicians and a vocal beast Noa Gruman, who:
1. makes her own stage outfits
2. writes the lyrics & co-composes the songs with her friend Orr Didi, who just recently replaced the original bassist of the band
3. has served her two year military service with the Israeli armed forces
4. conducts the Hellscore A Cappella metal choir that has performed with bands like e.g. Therion, Ayreon & Amorphis
5. is a classically trained pianist & cellist, although she doesn't play these instruments with Scardust
6. has also been working with the Israeli opera as 1st soprano & also with Zubin Mehta
7. worked on her extreme vocals with Floor Jansen (Nightwish) for two years online and has over an octave wider range (i.e. 4,5 octaves) than Floor & e.g. Simone Simons (Epica), Tarja Turunen (ex Nightwish) & the late Whitney Houston.
P.S. In their latest vlog they shared that their bassist Orr Didi is blind.

Welcome to Scardust!!! Noa Gruman is absolutely amazing!!! please continue down the rabbit hole with their song "Concrete Cages" featuring Patty Gurdy
Scardust are one of my favourite bands, and are absolutely a world class. Noa is one of the best female singers in the world today. You definitely need to check them out some more. Concrete Cages, Dials, Gone, Arrowhead, Mist , Tantibus II. Any of those are awesome 😊🤘
I hope you explore more of Scardust as they are an impressive band. They are working on their 3rd full length album and the choir I'm the background is the Hellscore choir which is directed by the singer, Noa. Hellscore is featured on a lot of their songs and worked with many big name metal and prog projects. Gone and dials are some of my top fav songs by Scardust, but they do have a 5part song series called Sands Of Time.
I see Tarmo already posted a lot of background information and Bridget posted a good suggestion for the song "Concret Cages".
However as you have done a lot of Nightwish, you might be interessted looking into their Nightwish covers as well.
First, as a challange, there is an a capella medley of Nightwish songs by the Hellscore choir. Look for "Nightwish - A Cappella medley | by Hellscore". Can you identify all the songs?
Second, Scardust did a Nightwish tribute concert and there are a couple of videos of that concert. Look for "scardust nightwish tribute". The recording quality is top notch, especially if you look at the small venue they are playing. My 2 favourite songs of that performance are "Ghost Love Score" and "Noise".
