That is a big, heavy car. So even if tuned - you can not expect miracles from small 2.0 diesel. 530d is the golden choice for the 5 series. And even that should be tuned for something more serious. The M550d on the other hand is a real sleaper weapon. Buy that, put the badges off and watch surprised faces when you pass them :)

Hey, as the owner of the car wil ik graag het volgende toelichten, rennsport had me dus wel degelijk in het zak gezet met de claimed 276hp, dat haalde de wagen nooit, mede omdat de de turbo enkel een upgrade cold side heeft en geen upgrade hot side verplaatst deze niet veel meer lucht :( omdat “tuning service ook bezig waren met een 120d (n47) ben ik daar heen gereden. Zei vertelden me dat ze dit ook bij hun 1ste turbo van muchboost hadden en dit resulteerde in een minimale vermogens winst. Nu hebben ze een turbo waar wel beide kanten van is aangepast en draaien ze een 310pk en 6xx nm . Jammer genoeg is dit niet mogelijk voor een turbo van de b47. Daar hebben ze de wagen een nieuwe map gegeven die draait op 255pk en 580nm (even uit het hoofd) jammer genoeg is er niet meer uit te halen (momenteel) grtjs bruno
To 240kmh i think this is slower than our old f10 520d... our current 530d xdrive g30 (249hp) is a rocket compared to this car! goes straight to 260kmh... Until 240 it pulls really hard

Your 320d can’t make 22s stock with the power in no universe in the world mine 320d does stock 30-32sec (m-Sport, 19“ m403 rims, good overall shape) and with stage 1 (240ps 500nm) it does 20sek flat so your car is defiantly not stock
So my 320d with stage 1 (240ps 500nm) runs 20.03sec 100-200 so this car doesn’t have the claimed hp I would say it has around 210/220ps like the mppk from bmw
I believe yours is b47, so it might be different but in my case i put gtb2056vzk turbo from 258hp , and 184hp injectors and hpfp , 335i intercooler and downpipe
Bmw f31 325dA lci stage 2 (light version downpipe and stage 2 tune) 100-200 14.96 sec, on 19" wheels with almost full tank. Vehicle is also good specced, so weights more then regular f31, with electric seats and panoramic roof.
@BlackBimmer325 Mine is from 2017 I bought it in 2019 first owners car with 99xxx km on speedometer. Directly I did stage 1+ 282 hp and 546nm on the dyno and drove until 133xxx km, then I thought it would be nice tu put a downpipe for longlivity of the turbo's and now the setup is downpipe+k&n air filter in stock airfilter box and stage 2 RG-Performance remap, 295hp 566nm. 158xxx klimoters on the odometer and runs like new. Oil change every 8-9000 km, only Castrol edge M and sinds stage 2 Liqy Moly 4200. I'm planing for hybrid turbo's, bigger intercooler, full exhaust, m50d rail sensor, m50d hpfp and m50 injectors 350ish hp 650 is Nm 🙂 but that's for in the future, expensive sht m8 🙂 If you let tune your car by pro's you won't have any problem with it. You will only do good for your car. Ofcourse you have to maintain it wel.

I own a 320 F30. It makes 263hp to the wheels, and 42kg of torque, on 33°C, with premium gasoline, It goes 260km/h very easily. I never went beyond that because our roads sucks. Because I live in Brazil, I also can use ethanol, that increases power a little bit (maybe 10hp). I never measured my 100-200. But I’m pretty sure that it can make under 20 sec.
I love BMW and the 5 series is really beautiful - but I would NEVER EVER buy ANY BMW, that has less then 6 cylinders. Just my opinion, sorry. BMWs are all about the motor. You can get good 4 cylinders cars from any car manufacturer for WAY LESS money.
The performance above 200 is barely better than stock. I'd be surprised if it makes anything close to 220hp at most
That is definitely not making 276 horsepower. More like 220-230, it performs like a 525d

This engines run great with just a better IC no dpf and a remap ... They will dyno 245hp no smoke no problem.. Probably faster then this one.

But i dont really see the point in chiptuning one of these.
Stage 1 makes sense for that extra bit of power in some situations but really not worth a turbo upgrade.

Mine 320d does 22s from 100-200 with stock 190Hp and 400Nm.
Basically the 520d has the same engine, just bit heavier.
