    Man…finally someone addresses the issue of having the right socket to tighten that plate. Thanks for the info

    Just subscribed to your channel. Your Z is looking great 👍. I just came across your page while looking at Z content. I bought a 370z roadster about 8 months ago and am slowly modding it. I'm also new to the STL area. So it's nice to see someone else in the area doing something I'm interested in. Stay cool 😎

    Looking to getting one of these for my 2020 Nismo! So when you change the oil on the car now what is the capacity you should be putting in?

      I have not changed it yet. But I asked this same question recently and was told that the oil change will be about what the stock amount is. Unless you purge the oil cooler and lines there will always be alittle over a qt left in the system

      I used to work for a company that manufactured oil coolers similar to this. They'd always suggest adding enough extra oil to fill the volume of the coolers. But these were larger coolers for heavily modified racing applications and mostly for V8s. The volume of this cooler is probably not enough that it would matter much if you didn't add additional oil. 🤷

    Does the z1 sandwich plate have a port for a oil pressure sensor?

    What is the difference in temperature with and without the oil cooler?

    • @drewworkz169
      @drewworkz169  3 года назад +2

      Without on a 90° or higher day I was seeing 220 while driving, 240 plus in traffic, and 240 plus while cruising backroads
      With the cooler I'm at 185 while driving, 200-220 in traffic, and 220 backroading

    Was I supposed to receive a booklet instructions from Z1?! 🤔, not me

    Says for a Z that it takes 5.2 quarts of oil to fill. But with the oil cooler installed would you need to add another quart or just put the same amount??

    • @lostjester
      @lostjester Год назад +1

      u use 1 qt in the cooler and then you use 5.2 like normal, and on oil changes you use 5.2 cause the residual qt stays in the cooler
