I know some of you have been complaining about the music being too loud in this video and I apologize for that. I could not alter the video once it’s been uploaded. I have included subtitles for this video to make it easier for you to follow, and I also have a lot of other more detailed tutorials on how to use each function. I just purchased a galaxy tab s4 and this video was really help! I'm looking forward to transition and get better at digital art and this is the first step.
The area selected by the lasso tool is very helpful! You can cover the area you only want to colour through lasso tool and the any brush tool will not go outside the area which is not selected! Only the area inside the lasso tool is selcted will work!

I had Autodesk Sketchbook for a few years now and finally found your tutorial on using it on a Samsung tablet. And I've learned something new - the sliding bars on the left menu!!! That makes it so easier to increase the size and opacity. Now my question is when I remove a pen or a marker does it go back automatically to the right category?
@@pohsstudio7769 I don't if I can explain it but I'll try. I noticed that any pen, brush or marker can be moved back into the Library. Under the Library there are groups such as Basic, Legacy, Texture Essential... . So if I don't want a pencil in the Library I can move it out but does it automatically go back into the Basic section or does it go to any section that I drop it into? Kinda hard to explain.

Thanks for your lovely comment :) I’m really glad the music didn’t bother you. For the sharper pencil I noticed from others comments that some version doesn’t have it in the Basic category. In that case it should be in the Legacy category. Let me know if you can find it
Here’s a fun tip or hack if your board write on pintrest or safari/google coloring book and your fave movie (if you want) or mandala I like to use pintrest because it looks little better then just add the picture in the autodesk and draw or you can just fill it up if your lazy no need thanks I love doing it on drive trips in school or wen I’m just board your welcome 😜❤️
I think I heard you correctly about layering. I drew outline and opened another layer but my coloring isn't staying inside the borders. Did I miss a step? Thanks
That’s because your outline layer is below your colouring layer. You need to drag the outline layer to go on top of the coloring layer :) I have a separate video tutorial on layers which explains it more

I would like to ask you a question, I have recently downloaded sketchbook on my s6 lite tab but in the text section I find only 5 fonts available while I see that you have many to choose from, can you suggest me where to find them and how to install them in order to use them?

This was a really great introductory video. Thank you! I have a question about the colour picker. After I pick a colour from the colour palette and am colouring my image, often the colour picker appears under my pen and the colour selection gets changed to a previous colour I had used. Why does this happen? Also is there a record of the colours I've selected before for the same drawing so I can reselect the exact same colour?
A good tutorial, but ruined by the very annoying and far too loud music. You don't need background music in a tutorial, it’s distracting and in this case overpowered what you were saying.

Ok u just do tbe same as what I did with the texts.. click on the lasso and just draw around the picture u want to modify. Once you have the shape just use your two fingers on the screen to change the size. Let me know if u need me to make a video to show u
After u modify it using the lasso under ‘selection’, then click ‘transform’, there u can use your mouse to change the dimensions of the selected region
I want to practice/improve my writting ABCs - can I insert a photo(*.png) and use it as a backgound.After finishing can the writting be erase? (only erase the writing). Can sketchbook open photoshop files (*.psd)

Im using the app on iphone 8+ and its great, but is there a way to rotate the tools to landscape? I rotate my phone to landscape but the tools don't seem to follow and thus stays in the portrait setup
Excuse me? I wanted to ask how do you duplicate and eye for instance. For example, you got one eye right and you want to duplicate that one and flip it to replace the eye that you couldn't get right. How would you do that?
That one is a bit tricky to do.. cos you’re not able to duplicate the eye directly even if you have cropped it. What I do is I would duplicate the layer with the eye, then erase the other areas until you only have the eye left on that layer, then flip it using the mirroring effect, and merge that layer with your original layer
@@pohsstudio7769 I figured it out. You go to select, chose what you want to duplicate and press Ctrl+C is copy and then press Ctrl + V for paste and you have your duplicated item. Then you can just use mirror to flip it. Thanks tho
@@pohsstudio7769 I found that you can also copy and pace on the layers. The three lines that go under each other. I pressed it and it surprised me with copy, paste, etc options. I was surprised. You can try and see if it's there if it helps.
For me to superimpose line drawings that I did previously are on top of other layers that I did afterwards, it doesn't work. For me to have to do this I have to reduce the opacity causing the colors to be diluted. I know there is a correct way so could you please help me?
Hi, Thanks for the tutorial. I am interested in using a photo to sketch my basic outline for a drawing and then delete the photo. Basically as if I used tracing paper to get the object placement correct and then remove the photo and only have my sketch marks left. IS that possible? Thanks in advance…

Yea that’s only possible if you’re using it on the computer. That function is not available on tablet versions

There’re a few different stylus you can use for the app. Depends on what platform you’re using, eg tablet or computer

Is there an easier way to resize and reangle the picture, like zooming in and out. Also I'm doing this on Windows PC
U have to create a crop area first around the part u want to resize

U can zoom in by going to the layer, and zooming in each layer manually. Otherwise u could only do that with 2 fingers on a touch screen

The same problem occurred with me I was using a pc before
