I'm a chef, and I was constantly looking down as I was doing my prep work, never taking my posture into consideration. I started doing these exercises, and immediately felt relief! Thank you both. I am grateful to have found this channel.
THANK U SO MUCH IM ACTUALLY CRYING. I hurt back in 2019 and have been in so much pain. I’ve been seeing a chiropractor but she made it worse. My entire body was shaking, starting at my hands, along with numbness and tingling. I felt immediate relief from this 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Incredible and looking forward to starting the road to recovery!
Bob and Brad, you are the best! These exercises repeated throughout the day relieved my pinched nerve in one day. I have been going to treatment for this neck/shoulder/ arm pain for months with no long-lasting relief. Thank you, you are true experts.
My husband keeps a fan on the bedside table lately, but I don't like the wind on my face. Recently I woke up in such pain from sleeping head turned to my left. Bob's selfage method worked instantly! I love you guys, you've helped more than a few times, thank you for your videos!!

My neck has been hurting for a week. One day I couldn't even move it at all. I clicked on this video the other night. WOW! The chin tucks and snow angels helped my neck. I did these before I went to bed and even in the night. 12 hours later, what a difference. Thanks guys!
I can't thank you guys enough.I tryed hot and cold on my neck , ibuprofen , arthritis rub and nothing helped at all.So after three weeks of headaches and pain and dizziness I was ready to give up and go to the hospital until I found your video.Almost emediently my headaches went away and two days later the pain and cracking noises are almost completely gone.Although I know it's not a permanent fix because I have arthritis for sure and possibly something else but right now I'm a happy camper , this saved me money and a visit to my doctor or the hospital during the pandemic . 👍
This is well worth the watch!!! I have had problems for YEARS with my arms going numb and pain behind my shoulder blade. Doctors never knew why. This morning was so bad I finally googled it - and got some relief by the end of the video. Some of the exercises you can even do driving (which I do a lot of). I will keep doing these exercises!
I have pinched nerve that effects my little finger. My Physio recommended this but unable to properly show me how to do it except a diagram. These two guys have done it for me. Thank you greatly. Have 3 weeks to go.Watching them is like watching a very happy couple doing what they love most. Good luck to them
I love you guys....I learned much more in the second video..I have always slept with one pillow that I have used for over 12 years now...not ewwww because I do wash it, but I am a side sleeper..with this herniated disk and pinched nerve, I was told to sleep flat...no pillow, etc...now I know I do need at least one pillow and when I sleep on my side I can use two...thank you...I am still in pain today and have been doing the exercises on and off since 4 am this morning when I woke up in pain again..but the tingling in my fingers is going away. The worst pain is in my lower arm and elbow...not that my shoulder blade doesn't hurt because man, it sure does....I am not stopping...having this for well over a month close to two now is going to take time to heal...thank you...

By watching your video and doing the exercises you recommended, the pain I was experiencing greatly subsided but I would like to add that when I tried using a compression sleeve on my left arm where I feel the pain, tingling and numbness, now it is almost gone and I am on way to full recovery. Thanks to both of you!
I was recently diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my neck. I was told possibly Physical Therapy would work but it may be something I just have to live with. I already had one for results using physical therapy for my lumbar region, especially L5 to S1. However, I used up most of my physical therapy amount and it was only April. So I went online to find exercises and ran across this video. I started doing the exercises, change my sleeping positions, and about two weeks later I'm almost pain-free. Still doing the exercises, just like the ones for my lumbar region, and I'll probably do them every day. Thank you so much!

Thanks for posting. This video and a couple others on RUclips helped me so much. I was just drying my hair and had a pinched nerve or something similar - spent the whole day on the floor unable to move with severe upper back pain, and shoulders in total spasm. Spent a week trying not to move, taking motrin around the clock but still lots of pain and spasms. Gave these exercises a try and noticed immediate improvement. Next day felt better with a little pain. 4 days later still doing exercises as recommended and am seeing improvement each day.

Half of my hand has been numb for years from a pinched nerve. The chin tucks gave my hand relief in a matter of minutes and now the recent pain I have had in my arm is gone. Thank you both for this great video post.
This post was so very very very helpful for me. I’m not entirely sure how often the home office population actually takes there posture seriously but when you pinch a nerve it’s critical to right the posture ship! Thank you guys!
What can be done to stop neck pain & numbness in hand & fingers while using computer? Thank you so very much for all your helpful exercises! So glad my brother led me to your site! You guys rock!
Im a female with a very big chest on a small frame, and jt definitely makes me slouch. I have a pinched nerve, numb fingers, pain all down my arm.. the whole nine. Aloha Bob and Brad! I am suffering from this RIGHT now! You guys are amazing. I'm a professional stand up paddler and the neck often suffers. I've dirt biked and windsurfed for years and I have lots of bone spurs. These are really helping already! I'm so thankful for time and expertise. I've also made major height adjustments to my laptop and it's been a game changer. Again, this is exactly what I needed that my own PT didn't provide. Mahalo and I'm much more hopeful now. You both rock!!
My neck pain radiates up into left side of my skull- X-rays show degenerative cervical disc disease and c4-5 stenosis, and facet and joint arthropathy- I Also have scoliosis- which has really affected my posture as I am 80.Wrapping up 12 PT sessions tomorrow. Will be following you regularly. Although I despair because my problems are chronic You are both amazing and give me such inspirations to work for relief. -“in my opinion of course “
These guys are great they addressed my problem and gave me exercises to get rid of my pinched nerve in the back of my neck which went down my arm and into my hand causing not only pain but numbing and tingling. Thank you both so much. It feels better already and I will continue to do the exercises. God bless you both for putting this on RUclips.
I got to say one of the most comprehensive neck therapy that one can recommend at home. Hats off to you both for doing this service online and spreading the word across

The wall angels were so hard at first, then after several months, I can now almost touch everything to the wall. My spouse still struggles with this exercise, so we have been measuring the distance between head and wall, as you also showed in another video.
Holy crap! I swear to God I'm not kidding but the next turn and stretch STOPPED my pain within a minute flat. I'm still pain free now. Obviously I'll see how it goes but holy crap, the relief!
I rely on you both and find your videos professional, informative and somewhat humorous at times....and they work. Thank you soooo much for sharing your expertise. Awesome human beings.
Hey, I know there are tons of comments thanking you and whatever. But I still wanted to thank you. I have had this painful feeling in the right side of my back/neck/shoulder everytime i ''rotated'' or ''twisted'' my neck to the right. The pain was almost unbearable and sent tingling feeling (and pain) all the way to my fingers. Anyway, being the cynical asshole that I am, I didn't think anything would help me. I was proven wrong. I watched a couple of your videos and practiced the small exercises everyday and now my pain is almost gone. I advise everyone to listen carefully and follow the instructions. I have no words to describe my gratitude. I am really thankful to you and I hope you prosper and stay healthy. Peace.
You are the best guys. I had pain in my upper arm and elbow and I was feeling so bad. Opened you tube to find what to do and I found your exercice videos. So I did and in the moment I felt my arm much better.I couldn't belive it. Thank you so much from my heart. Was something from the neck. God bless You. Keep doing and we follow You. Thanks again.
Brilliant!! Thanks so much , it was exactly what I need., my wrong sitting and sleeping position got me to this very painful condition and I want to believe it is treatable!!
B&B, this video is actually a summary and detail of every exercise needed to manage C7-T1 region!!! Best video on internet i must say. Thank you so much.
Excellent, being 60 ish and still very active, I occasionally run into structural aches and pains that make my routine exercise less than optimal. Your videos are a god send. The neck pain series has been particularly successful for me. Thank You!
I am in such burning/numbing pain at night once I lay down in any position. The only relief I can get is a short stint on a treatment table on my stomach with arms down by my sides. During the day I can manage the burning/numb sensation in both hands because I am active and distracted. Your presentation has given me hope, and I can't stop smiling at your antics. You are both angels! May God bless you richly for sharing your knowledge and compassion. I will try more tricks with the pillows/rolls being aware of my alignment, and I will definitely do some postural exercise.
I found your video quite by accident. I had my You Tube on Auto-play and your video was next. I was in the kitchen at the time and started listening when I heard the word "posture". I'm 60 yrs old, a widow and have noticed that I am unable to get my shoulders and head against the wall. I'm happy to find exercises (the chin tuck especially) which I'm hoping will reverse some of the poor posture I've developed over the years of sitting at a computer. Thanks so much for giving me just what my body needs. I'm doing them all all the time!!
My past 48 hours were unbearable and I felt like I was being electrocuted. I could barely do one chin tuck at first and I did your stretches for an hour and instantly unpinched the nerve. Still sore but finally some relief and can manage till my dr appointment in a couple days . You don’t know how much I appreciate this video. Thank you!
I wanted to send a thank you, from your neighbours, just to the north, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada I injured my back 45 years ago, and I am still learning, so much helpful information, from your videos. I especially find the video tutorials beneficial, in that they are very easy to follow along with, ensuring you are doing the exercises properly. Also enjoy the humour, thanks again. YT

Hello, I am 26 and have nerve pain down my left arm but sometimes my right too. This video was very helpful. Would you recommend anything else for me to do as well? I have had chronic spinal pain for 9 years and in the last 2 years developed trigeminal neuralgia. I have seen a physio, chiro, osteopath, and acupuncturist as well as my local doctor and pain management team. I have hypermobility EDS too if that's at all relevant. Thank you for taking your time to read my post and as always thank you for your wonderful videos. Holly :)
I love those exercises. But they cause pain and numbness on my right arm. I hurt my neck/shoulder and my right hand started to get numb a month after pain. It’s been 4 months already! I have been going to Physical Therapy and taking easy. It just takes longer than I thought. Thank you!
Hi Bob& Brad... both of u r so jolly n I m a physical therapist of Bangladesh.I learn a lot from ur every video which hlp me to treat my patient...best wishes both of u
The lower position on the steering wheel is also considered to offer greater safety if there is air-bag deployment. When arms are high and crossed a bit due to sudden steering to avoid a crash the air bag can break your arm--- it has that much force. The lower grip could prevent that.
Thank you Bob & Brad, I was doing exercises for numbness and tingling in the right arm, but they only helped a little. But once I started doing the exercises and adjusting my sitting, wow, improvement at last!
Started doing this at 4:00 this morning after another almost sleepless night and actually got some relief for the first time in 5 weeks!! I will be doing them often today and hopefully I can get a little sleep tonight.. Thanks Guys!,,,
I was diagnosed with a C5, C6, C7 Herniated Disc and was mortified as I am normally a fit and healthy and do weights to strengthen my muscles. After seeing your video I believe I have hope to reverse it... thank you and will let you know how I get on. God Bless x

Thank you for this video. Just in the few minutes of doing these while watching the video I notice a major improvement in the pain in my arm. The dull ache and Charlie horse feeling has decreased to almost nothing. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I had a triple fusion last july on C4-5,5-6,6-7 a lot of what you are showing is what I was taught to do in PT. It makes a world of difference on the pain scale. I still deal with some pain due to my head position at my job. But moving my head around in these positions does relieve the pain.👍
Great video guys, thank you for sharing. As far as volume goes, increase your equipment volume because even at 90% volume on my speakers, it is a little hard to hear your guys.
I solved the pinched nerve in my neck two ways: First, I realized that I was constantly turning my head, and NOT my body in one direction when I was working on a computer monitor to my left side. When I rearranged the monitors and could look straight ahead to see my work, I started getting better right away. But the other thing is- I can't do that "Angels" exercise against the wall. But I can do them when I'm lying on the floor. Now my pinched nerve is almost gone! (and I had a MRI which showed that my neck vertebrae were very messed up!)
@@zoezzzarko1117 I do them very slowly paying attention to loosening my muscles. For me, it takes a long time to release. It's probably different for you. Just listen to your body and don't over do it or it will set you back!
@@theelusivememe1772 Yes- so I am constantly working on flattening my back. Keep at it- you'll get better as you practice and it will totally change your posture for the better- and improve pain! Good luck!

I couldnt sleep so Im up trying these exercises. The chin tuck and lean toward the pain just decreased my pain level significantly. I'll have to work at it from now on but wow.. just wow
How is it that easy?!?! This gave me instant relief from pain that has been keeping me up at night. Thanks a ton!
My neck pain radiates up into left side of my skull- X-rays show degenerative cervical disc disease and c4-5 stenosis, and facet and joint arthropathy- I
Also have scoliosis- which has really affected my posture as I am 80.Wrapping up 12 PT sessions tomorrow.
What a huge gift you both are ‼️ Service to others still exists‼️‼️
I got to say one of the most comprehensive neck therapy that one can recommend at home. Hats off to you both for doing this service online and spreading the word across
I have been suffering from pinched nerve in my neck making my arm tingle all the way to my fingertips. I have been to Ortho and Primary Care. Watched this video did the exercises shown and got immediate relief from the tingling. I wish I would have seen this sooner
thank u very much! i've been suffering from a hot pain on my right side lower shoulder for a yr now, not been checked by a doctor. trying to heal naturally with ur advices, feeling better each day.
God bless you both. I got instant relief doing the chin tuck.
100% best PTs on the internet and that's no bullshit - clear, concise and they actually seem to enjoy their work!
Peace.
You have a way with words that I really appreciate, I am so happy you are feeling better.
You are the best guys.
I had pain in my upper arm and elbow and I was feeling so bad.
Opened you tube to find what to do and
I found your exercice videos.
So I did and in the moment I felt my arm much better.I couldn't belive it.
Thank you so much from my heart.
Was something from the neck.
God bless You.
Keep doing and we follow You.
Thanks again.
I know this is one of your older videos. But wow!! This helped my neck pain from working from home. Thank you!!
Brilliant!! Thanks so much , it was exactly what I need., my wrong sitting and sleeping position got me to this very painful condition and I want to believe it is treatable!!
Awesome tips. Totally needed this. In pain for four days now. Annoying. The chin tucks and the side stretches are helpful.
Bert and Ernie physical therapy edition. great stuff guys thank you very much
B&B, this video is actually a summary and detail of every exercise needed to manage C7-T1 region!!! Best video on internet i must say. Thank you so much.
I am SO thankful to have found this video. I have been in PAIN, almost unbearable. Thank you!!!
You two actually cured my problem whereas others saying surgery is the only solution. God bless 🙏🙏
Thank you guys for everything. I have pain from lumbar to the neck. Everything doesn’t work, but I have gotten some relief.
Excellent, being 60 ish and still very active, I occasionally run into structural aches and pains that make my routine exercise less than optimal. Your videos are a god send. The neck pain series has been particularly successful for me. Thank You!
60 is still so young Joseph :) We are happy that our videos have helped you!
The shoulder blade stretch and chin tucks are amazing. Cleared up my shoulder pain almost immediately.
Thanks guys my shoulder and neck feel so much better. And I really have made changes with my posture I didn't know I was sitting and standing so bad
Thank you!
I wanted to send a thank you, from your neighbours, just to the north, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada
I injured my back 45 years ago, and I am still learning, so much helpful information, from your videos.
I especially find the video tutorials beneficial, in that they are very easy to follow along with,
ensuring you are doing the exercises properly. Also enjoy the humour, thanks again. YT
I was worried I was going to have to go to a hospital and then I found this video and feel so much better already. You two are doing gods work. Thank you.
I've viewed many of your videos over the years and just want to thank you for the information you share. Your tips have always been clearly presented, specific to the issue and consistently helpful. Thanks so very much.
Thank you soooooo much. I stretched on New Years eve and immediately felt intense pain whenever I moved my right arm. It was great to search on Uou Tube and find instant help.
I've been doing the exercises and feel great relief. I'm going to change lots in my daily posture and keep on with the exercises
Doing the extensions as reps are such a neck strengthener and relief
First timer in pinched nerve hell here. You guys deserve a statue, monument, Medal of Honor, etc. This video is something beyond helpful. THANK YOU!!!
You guys are awesome! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. This truly helps a lot of people who dont have access to any specialists right away! Bless your hearts
Holly :)
Thanks guys, I just started a roofing job, my neck and back are killing me and you guys helped my morning and possibly the rest of my daily habits !
You guys are brilliant. Hoping my trapped nerve goes from my neck soon after seeing this and starting the exercises.
I love those exercises. But they cause pain and numbness on my right arm. I hurt my neck/shoulder and my right hand started to get numb a month after pain. It’s been 4 months already! I have been going to Physical Therapy and taking easy. It just takes longer than I thought. Thank you!
Hope you heal fast! :)
Hi Bob& Brad... both of u r so jolly n I m a physical therapist of Bangladesh.I learn a lot from ur every video which hlp me to treat my patient...best wishes both of u
You guys are the best. Multiple injuries helped. I owe you guys
The lower position on the steering wheel is also considered to offer greater safety if there is air-bag deployment. When arms are high and crossed a bit due to sudden steering to avoid a crash the air bag can break your arm--- it has that much force. The lower grip could prevent that.
Your videos have helped me tremendously. Thank you so much for all that you do.
Been suffering for the past few weeks with a pinched nerve in my neck. After a few reps of these exercises the relief was tremendous.Thank you.
Thank you Bob & Brad, I was doing exercises for numbness and tingling in the right arm, but they only helped a little. But once I started doing the exercises and adjusting my sitting, wow, improvement at last!
Try using a compression sleeve, it helped me a lot in reducing pain and improving circulation. Don't forget to continue the stretching exercises.
Started doing this at 4:00 this morning after another almost sleepless night and actually got some relief for the first time in 5 weeks!! I will be doing them often today and hopefully I can get a little sleep tonight..
Thanks Guys!,,,
Hope you good some sleep tonight! You are welcome! :)
I was diagnosed with a C5, C6, C7 Herniated Disc and was mortified as I am normally a fit and healthy and do weights to strengthen my muscles. After seeing your video I believe I have hope to reverse it... thank you and will let you know how I get on. God Bless x
Did u recover?
@Hamna I did indeed yes! I am back to lifting weights and go to the gym nearly every day 💪🏽 😊
@@manimahil2787 omg I'm so happy for you!! I went through a stroke and now I have muscle weakness in both my arms and legs. I also used to lift weights before. My doctor said I won't get full recovery. I was wondering how long did it exactly take u to recover also we're ur struggles similar like mine or different. any tips to gain full recovery?
Thank you for this video. Just in the few minutes of doing these while watching the video I notice a major improvement in the pain in my arm. The dull ache and Charlie horse feeling has decreased to almost nothing. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Loved your comment about the steering wheel positions... People always say I'm doing it wrong! Thanks for the vindication!
Thank you!!! This was great. It addressed several of the problems I have been having with my neck.
thank you Bob and Brad. Educating myself on neck pain maintenance. thank you for your suggestions and reminders to our own individual knowledge base.
I feel much better on the floor too. How often and long did you do the floor angels?? 😲😲😲
@@zoezzzarko1117 I do them very slowly paying attention to loosening my muscles. For me, it takes a long time to release. It's probably different for you. Just listen to your body and don't over do it or it will set you back!
@@LiandaLudwig Ok sounds good thank you. And yes... I always listen to my body. At this point, I have no choice anyway ha
Does your back arch when you do angels? Cause I try to keep it flat but i cant.
@@theelusivememe1772 Yes- so I am constantly working on flattening my back. Keep at it- you'll get better as you practice and it will totally change your posture for the better- and improve pain!
Good luck!
Pain killers don't work on my neck pain but these exercises do! Thank you!
Holy cow I cannot thank you enough!!! I’ve been having so much pain in my neck, shoulder, and arm, and within ten minutes of doing these exercises my pain is almost totally gone!!!
Thank you guys so much, I've found more PT relief from your channel and some other therapists on youtube than I have from my actual doctors and care providers in my area.
Thank you so much for this video! I have been struggling with intense tingling down my shoulder and into my hand for a month now, due to COVID I haven't gone anywhere besides to my chiropractor but I didn't want to get my neck adjusted. I will be trying these exercises right away!
All I can say is GOD BLESS YOU BOTH.
🎶Bob and Brad, the two most famous, physical therapist on the Internet 🎶
👏🥳 the best tune on RUclips
These guys are lifesavers! . I have spondylolisthesis and I also i am prone to Stiff necks for some reason. They have been truly helpful. They are so funny as well. For some reason they remind me of Bert and Ernie the way they talk LOL 😂 💜
