I do too. It’s a catchy little tune. My Mom wrote Radio and TV Jingles. On her business card was a quote that said, “You can’t hum the announcer.” It’s the music that keeps it in our memory. When I was in 1st grade (58 years ago) we learned the ABCs by singing them. Do you remember doing that?
Hey guys, not sure if you’ll read this but I really appreciate all you guys do with these videos. The information you share is invaluable to people who may be suffering. Your actions bring light into a world that needs it more than ever.
I’ve been immobilized with ankle injuries for 2 weeks, and your videos have been a lifesaver. Turns out when your ankles are out of whack, everything else is out of whack in a chain reaction of fire all the way up to the neck! The exercises and posture fixing tips in this video have changed my life and reduced my pain by 90%! Thanks so much guys! I sincerely could not be more grateful.
Loved your neck exercises! My own PT said that there were 'none' - just stop using my computer/phone! Thanks a million for letting me feel hopeful. Love your humor! :)
Thanks for all these great resources Bob and Brad! As a new grad PT, I find your videos all very helpful. I appreciate the good humour too. Keep it up!
I woke with a fierce neck/ head pain this morning. I purposely found you and this clip. I have just worked through your exercises and WOW the pain has gone ... thank you 🙏 🙏🙏
Thank you guys, I feel much better, the pain on my next was running all the way along my left ear. The towel tricks are great. I always come back to y’all.
Thank you so much for this! Thanks to your videos I figured out I had a pinched nerve in the neck yesterday. The pain was really strong and reaching my fingers. I followed your exercise instructions and already in one day my pain is almost gone!! I am so grateful!
Thank you Bob & Brad - your exercises are so easy to follow and give me great confidence on how to carry them out. I started the day unable to turn my neck and after rolling through your 10 exercises, I have so much more mobility and feel so much better. Thanks for the great exercises and presentation!
I’m getting PT for my neck from whiplash injury. I told my PT I looked up videos from Bob and Brad and he finished singing your song after I said Bob and Brad!
This is really great! I was literally doing the exercises with u guys. This means a whole lot to me cos I ve been having back and neck pain for years. I'm glad I discovered this video
You guys really are the best physical therapists online! I rarely ever post on RUclips unless something is really good. I love the way you guys get along and joke with each other. You get straight to the point in the beginning of all your videos. Liked on Facebook too! Keep it up Bob and Brad! This video helped a lot!
I am going soon for neck Cerfical surgery And my pt instructor told me to do these exercises to build up my strength to help me heal faster and be strong Thank you Bob and Brad I need this help
This worked better than anything else I ever tried. Usually waking up with my neck feeling like I pinched a nerve means the day is going to be bad, but doing this for about an hour left me with a 90% restored neck and saved the rest of my day.
I've had trouble with my upper back/neck which I'm quite sure is related to waaaaay too much time and tasks being done on my cell phone as well as deconditioning from stopping my yoga studio practice and gym workouts as of March 2020. These exercises are helping until I get into a physical therapist for an assessment. I am now sleeping at night again! I have shared your videos with friends and relatives with their physical ailments as well. Thank you so much for doing these videos.
Another example of looking up, other than at the stars is looking up while surfing. Could you do a video on older people surfing and neck, shoulder, trap pain?
Hi Bob and Brad, first I love your helpful social media broadcasts. Can you please update this with anything new or just a compilation of all your tips. Or remind people to refer back to this session? Many of us are now required to work from home. New office setups, more required screen times, monitors and laptops at different angles and levels. I am hearing from many at home workers that they have extremely painful neck, back and shoulder pain.
I recently learned that my neck pain is from a herniated disc in my neck, which causes headaches and pain in my shoulder blades. I just complete all 10 of these exercises, and they really helped! Thank you for creating this video and sharing your knowledge. I am subscribed and looking forward to seeing more content!
Best neck exercise to relieve migraine: Head Slides...Ears over shoulders, straight back, no head tilt - slide upright head to right, then to the left, etc. Really helps, my belly dance students loved this!
What do you recommend we do after we do these exercises? (Take a nap? Go for a walk? Go about our business?) I've been doing yoga to help the pain, but I'm afraid if I do too much I'll make my pain worse.
physicaltherapyvideo no it don't hurt but I'm having subcapulas muscle trouble it's been since last year I been doing ya excercise to help my shoulder it just hard to get on out of there. I don't excercise like I should...
These guys are as corny AF... but they've always got videos with good exercises. I start listening to them... And I roll my eyes and look up at the ceiling after most of their jokes... But I keep coming back to their channel because the videos are always good.
Hi! Dr. Bob & Dr Brad. curious to know if you were to change places standing across from each other if Dr Brad would become taller & you become shorter( mystery spot )😊 Love your videos that have helped me so much Thank you !
What do you think of devices like the denneroll? There are a few brands of wedge type pieces that you can lay down on under your neck to help increase or maintain the cervical curve. The denneroll is the most expensive. I purchased the back pod and I love it. So good. Was wondering if you could do the same thing for the neck. So nice to lay down and relax while the tool does the work :)
I love your intro, ya'll are so cute. Did u say u were in Alpena? Or am I hearing things? Hello from Michigan. Wow those chin tucks AMAZING..but it does accentuate my double chin lol
You guys really know your stuff. I did not know if I was in the right area for what I am going to say. I do know this is the pain in the neck place and do need your help. I have not only suffered from neck and shoulder pain but when I turn my head, it constantly cracks and it drives me crazy. I had physical therapy on my neck but over time, the cracking gets worse. I did have a CAT scan and it showed that I have bone spurs in the cervical area. I have been to a few doctors and according to more scans, it is indicated that I have cervical spondylitis. I am not certain what that entails but I don't like the sound of it. I have been seeing a doctor regularly and I was given lidocaine patches which really don't work well. About 40 years ago, I had cervical surgery and a plate was put in the C3-C4 area. I had to go to the ER one night because the pain was so bad. I was given muscle relaxants and if needed, pain meds. I try to stay away from the pain meds. OK, I am 81 years old and I guess like a car, we fall apart. I know you cannot give me medical advice and that is not what I am asking for. All I want to know is more about my condition and some resources I can read. This way I can talk to a doctor, knowing something. It seems that many doctors I have been to don't really know much about it. I don't want to go to a neurologist and tell me I need surgery to fix it. At my age, I don't even want to think about this kind of surgery. I already had this surgery, once and that is enough. What I am after is some relief from the pain and clicking. Can you recommend some other type of exercise that can help? Right now, just about every day, I turn my head left and right, up and down at least 10 times. It helps with movement but not more than that. What would you recommend for sleeping with this condition? I know I asked a lot of things here but both of you, being physical therapists and according to other people here, you are quite good at it.
Are these all safe for post op spinal fusions? I’m still in pain after 4 years . I was not encouraged to do any physical therapy after surgery either. I have tried doing some of these exercises however was discouraged due to pain. Thanks
These guys deserve a Nobel price for all the work they've done and people they've helped, seriously!
