    Thanks for taking the time to go through my stuff homie!

    It's nice to see James here. His Korean is actually really good.
    We had a collaboration last year which was a live streaming only in Korean language with other native Koreans. He understood the whole conversation and spoke Korean fluently. 👍👍

    빌리선생님 one thing to ask,
    이/그/저분 are polite but do they come honorifics?
    and 이/그/저 애 are informal is it??
    i know that얘, 걔, 쟤are informals..
    oh! one more thing to ask..
    -ㅂ니다/습니다 endings are honorifics english in formal settings.. right??
    and 요endings are simply polite right? can you just tell me what's the difference between honorifics(more polite) & polite language?
    Hope you can reply my queries from your busy schedule.. 🙃
    thanks for reading if you did for real!! 😆

    빌리선생님 what do you think that a person who is a beginner in korean should focus on honorifics or informal stuffs? a beginner should learn honorific vocabularies first or just normal words..
    eg. 보시다 or 보다 which one is better to learn first?

    • @sumbunny2009
      @sumbunny2009 3 года назад +2

      In general you will need 보다. 보시다 will only have to be used when the SUBJECT of the sentence is someone you want to show respect too.
      I would personally advice to first not focus as much on honorific because most of the time you will need the non-honorif verb

    On a side note, how long do you expect to keep receiving videos Billy?
    I suppose at this moment you probably have over a hundred videos, that would a lot of material to keep making this series

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  3 года назад +2

      It all depends on how many people watch them. I usually spend 2-3 days per person just reviewing their clips for each episode, to decide what I want to talk about. Then another day to film and another day for editing. So it takes a lot of time to create each one.

    Would 님 work here as well? Or would it be unnatural? I often see people on RUclips refer to RUclipsrs as name + 님 so I thought this might be appropriate here as well

      Yes!! 님 is an even more polite way to refer to someone and it’s really used in this kind of situation as much or even more than 씨 (especially when you don’t know that person or you’ve never met them personally)

    • @sumbunny2009

      님 is common with those sort of usernames (like I could call another RUclipsr who I met online using ~님), or in any less personal interactions.
