As a Spanish speaker, those double consonants are easy and I'm glad you used Spanish to help convey the proper sound. For those who have trouble with it, Spanish consonants are much lighter than English. Instead of pronouncing a hard "t", just lightly tap it to the roof of your mouth, not committing too hard to the sound. Same with the other consonants, keep them light and don't commit to them so hard.

I've been using a language-learning app for WEEKS to learn the Korean Alphabet. This short Korean with Miss Vicky video has taught me the alphabet so much faster and clearer! Her instructions and tips are great and make it so easy to remember! Also it's good to hear a real human say the sounds, not an AI.
Reasons why i came here: 1. I love kdramas 2. I HATE READING THE SUBTITLES WHEN I WATCH KDRAMAS 3. Hangul is something i wanna learn 4. When i go to South Korea, i can speak and understand what people are saying 5. Because I'm bored Edit: reason 6. Kpop 🙂 Edit: y'all pls stream 'Life goes on' by BTS💜
Thank you so much for making this video, I've been trying to learn korean for 2 months now and first I tried "duolingo" then with "lingodeer" and previously "cake" and I've learnt more watching your video in 30 minutes than I have using language apps in 2 months so thank you (again!)
I've watched many of these Korean language videos in the last week or so. This has been the most straightforward, most useful and the easiest to follow for an absolute beginner such as myself.
I came here because 1: I wanna learn a new language 2: I hate reading the subtitles 3: I can say things to people and they won't even know what I said 4: I'm gonna be a foreign exchange student in Korea
Why am I learning Korean? 50% - Kpop 25% -Kdrama 10% - sense of achievement and pride 10% - write lyrics, stories, quotes, poems etc (something of a paradise mind) 5% - just if I ever end up in a position of have to speak it( I’d rather know what’s going on than to rely on google translate)
@@alihussein844 hahhahahah same :D literally every comment is about kpop or kdramas, i just want to learn the language because i think it's super interesting and i'd love to visit korea some day.
Honestly, that's the only compelling video I've come over so far. I watched this video 1 time and fully memorized the consonants and vowels. Thank you, Miss Vicky ❤
After learning the consonants I was really happy and confident bc they were easy and I could remember them well. And then the vowels came... And more vowels...
Even if it’s my native language and I speak it since I’m born, it’s a really hard language. French people always make fault about our own language. Learn Korean guys haha hope it would be easier for u 🤗🤗 good luck everyone
@Jaidyn Morales there is nothing to worry about.......the first one sounds like "g" ... she gave an example of "gun" like when u learn a,b,c,d ......u always say that "A" for "Apple" like that.......the first one sounds like "g" and gun was an example.........
i'd just like to say that i went through your entire 한글 playlist about 6 months ago to kick off my journey in learning korean and thanks to your videos, i pretty much had reading and pronouncing most things in korean down from the very beginning. really eased the learning process, thank you so much!
Why I wanna learn Korean 1. Just feel like it 2. Quarantine got me watching k drama now lol 3. Cool language 4. Wanna learn/speak a new language 5. Wanna go to Korea as an exchange student (America is dry lol)
I feel so blessed to live in an era wherein you can learn anything whenever you want. I mean thanks to google we can learn anything !!! Btw I really liked your video, your explanations are awesome ! Good job, well done !
Not lucky yet, we have to live in the era where we get a search engine that guides us to learn. AI engine. How would you know this is the right tutorial? How do you know this tutorial is not teaching you well? For example, I found out this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/KN4mysljHYc/видео.html was the best tutorial for me. It sticked in my head. Meanwhile this tutorial, made me memorize killing with a gun, but not the alphabet. So it memorized the story, but not the lesson.
The three reasons that I am learning Korean 1: so that I can correctly sing along to bts 2: so that I can watch run bts without subtitles 3: because my friend tells everyone that she is fluent in Korean and I know she's not so I just want to prove a point 😊
-learning Chinese (cause my parents want me to be fluent wth them even tho i already am) -learning Spanish (cause every student at my school has to learn a language even tho we only have Spanish and French) -learning Korean (SO I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO UPLOAD A VIDEO WITH SUBTITLES FOR ONES THAT DON'T *cough cough* bighit *cough cough* )
Thanks for such a well-made an informative video! I'm Polish, but I've started to learn English from when I was about 10 years old. Currently I should be on C1-C2 of this language, but I decided that studying linguistics is my best shot at creating a career, since I'm good at mimicking and repeating difficult words, no matter the sound. I tried to inform myself first about what 3rd language would be the most beneficial for me in the future, but it was so hard to decide whether it should be Spanish, German, or even French. In the end, one of my friends told me to pick up Korean, and that's when I decided to do exactly that! Now I'm studying it for the total of three consecutive days, and I hope I won't ever burn down, or if I do, I'll be able to keep up the streak, for it is extremely important to stay consistent! haha I have about two years before my high school examination, so I have exactly that to learn another language, so it can be easier for me in the future. I hope anyone reading this will keep up with their dreams and overcomes their struggles, Keep Fighting!!
its 145 am and I'm quarantined rn. I've never been so into a subject. srsly, u explained this so well that that this may be easy for me wow thx for the likes!

So I tried learning hangul using two different methods now and none of them work, I had to relearn like six different consonants and four vowels over and over again because I keep forgetting it. Now I literally have memorized almost 14 basic consonants in less than an hour, oh my god, you're the best, you make it so easy to remember, thank you for this video!

Did you guys learn to read
I've been using a language-learning app for WEEKS to learn the Korean Alphabet. This short Korean with Miss Vicky video has taught me the alphabet so much faster and clearer! Her instructions and tips are great and make it so easy to remember! Also it's good to hear a real human say the sounds, not an AI.
Reasons why i came here:
1. I love kdramas
2. I HATE READING THE SUBTITLES WHEN I WATCH KDRAMAS
3. Hangul is something i wanna learn
4. When i go to South Korea, i can speak and understand what people are saying
5. Because I'm bored

Now I'm studying it for the total of three consecutive days, and I hope I won't ever burn down, or if I do, I'll be able to keep up the streak, for it is extremely important to stay consistent! haha
I have about two years before my high school examination, so I have exactly that to learn another language, so it can be easier for me in the future.
I hope anyone reading this will keep up with their dreams and overcomes their struggles,
Keep Fighting!!
