@@BlowoutProfessor Why a blow-dry cream vs just a heat protectant? I've seen your videos that talk about using a heat protectant when using hot tools (excluding blow drying), but what does the blow-dry cream do that a heat protectant doesn't do?
For blow drying all I use is a leave in conditioner plus the Kenra Blow Dry Spray. On dry hair I use the Sephora Collection Protective Hair Oil and my hair is very soft and smooth.
im assuming you apply this after leave in conditioner. do you also use heat protector after using this product? And do you apply the hair oil at the end, after blowdrying? Thanks for your help Chris!
Oh thank god you're doing youtube. I need way more time from you explaining hair than tik tok allows. Can I ask, how can I get the most out of olaplex No 3? Things I'm confused about: when do I use it in my hair routine, how long should I actually leave it in, how dry/damp my hair should be, where do I need to apply it, how to tell I'm buying fresh product (can I order from amazon?), and is buying the Olaplex No 0 to "prime" the hair worth it? Oh and is Olaplex No 3 even worth it haha. Love your content
Hey Savannah! Yes exactly, Tiktok just isn't very in depth haha. Honestly I'm not a huge fan of Olaplex 3 or 0 for at home use. So I wouldn't recommend you buy the 0. And I would leave the 3 in for 10-15 minutes. If you really love it then that's great, but otherwise I'd save your money :)
I'm asking the same question on everyone of your videos hoping you'll answer one of them. Important question! I ordered your recommended products, the Pureology leave in conditioner, olaplex oil, Redkin Big Blowout and Redkin Thermal Spray. They came in the mail today. My question is that what should my regimen be? I only wash my hair once every two weeks but you said only use leave in conditioner only on wet hair so what do I use between? Do I use the Big Blowout and Thermal Spray every day? My hair is so damaged. I blow dry my hair straight, then use a curling iron set on 410° for big curls.
I love your videos, they are very educational. Thank you! I do have a question. Blow out cream vs heat protectant (spray). If I use only a blow dryer brush should I use only blow out cream? Is there a point of adding a bit of spray after a blow out cream? If there is no point in doing that, when do we use heat protectant (spray). If I’m going with a bigger of flat iron after blowout will the blow out cream be enough? Thank you for sharing all these information with us ❤
Awesome as usual. Hope you may see this. From your other info, i thought the blowdry cream could be either the olaplex 6 or the redken blowout or the frizz dismiss. It looked like in this video you recommend the blowout or frizz dismiss and only olaplex 6 IF i have damage to repair. Did i get that right?
That's how I understood it. Use the one that corisponds to your hair type (Redkin Blowout for fine/medium hair or Frizz Dismiss for course hair) and/or you could also use the Olaplex 6 if your hair is damaged/dry, or for AREAS that are damaged/dry to soften and add shine.
Love your content! My hair is finally coming back to life after following your tips. I’ve seen the redken big blowout but I have also seen redken quick blowout. Would the quick blowout spray be ok for fine, oily hair? Thank you for sharing all this information! ❤️
@@ala6329 I noticed a difference after the first wash. My hair felt clean compared to when I used drugstore shampoos. I used to wash my hair every day because it would get greasy in less than 24 hours. After a couple of weeks of using a professional shampoo I can go 3 days without washing. On the third day I use the Berlin dry shampoo and my hair looks clean again without that dry shampoo feeling.
Thank you so much. But I am a bit confused about applying Redken big blowout and Olaplex N6. After leave in conditioner, we will apply Redken big blowout, then apply Olaplex N6 or mix these 2 together???
Hey :) I'm getting married next month and your videos are really helpful so thank you for that! I was going to ask, is it ok to use both a leave in conditioner and a blowout cream? If yes, in what order would you recommend applying them?
Hi! I know I'm a little late, but I was wondering the same thing and just found the answer. He recommends a leave-in after every wash, and he recommends a blow dry cream before every blow dry. In his video "3 Step After Shower Routine," he says that when you blow dry your hair, you should use them in this order: leave-in, blow dry cream, hair oil. :) good luck!
Hello from Brazil. I'm absolutely loving all of your videos, thank you for putting your knowledge out here in a fun and dynamic way. Would these products also serve as leave in conditioner?
So if you have dry ends could you just use Olaplex 6 on the ends and Redken Big Blow out in the mids and roots. I have very thin and fine above should length hair.
the skin on my hands is very dry and sucks up the oil and Blow Out. Also, I've noted that when I hit my hand to get my two drops of oil, it appears to be less than what you get. I thought that my skin soaking up the conditioner would counter my dry skin problem, but it successfully rinses off my hand. I could try to apply some kind of cream to my hands before I use Big Blowout and the Oil, but I'm concerned it will get on my hair.
So, normally I just let my hair just air dry, but once it starts getting chilly out I don't wanna go outside looking like a bad rag mop with ice cycles hanging off 🙆♀️. I sometimes will just rough dry my hair and I'll use a heated curling brush, or I'll use a hot air dryer brush. What do you suggest I use?
Thank you for everything I have learned so much from you I have the redken big blowout and I was wondering if I can mix a few drops of the no 7 bonding oil with the big blowout to wet hair to help my frizz. The big blowout is not helping with my frizz that well. What should I do. Thanks!
I am feom Serbia and there is no Purology (not even for shipping) nor am I able to find Big Blowout. I am able to find quick blowlout but it doesn't have the volumizing effect as far as I know 😢
A little confused - towards the end @1:10 you say make sure not to get too much on the top of your hair but then follow up with saying if you want volume to put it in your roots. was this referring to olaplex 6 or the reform blowour? Thank you!!
Great question. Your blow dry cream should have heat protection built in so that's all you would need to use 👍 You only need to use a separate heat protectant if you go in with a curling iron/flat iron afterwards
On seeing your newest video I got the redskin friz dismiss blow out cream and the iron spray w hold I HV course unhappy hair did I purchase the wrong products? Hey Dixie! It can be great for messy styles/braids/buns (mostly for blondes or those with some lighter hair). But I've found on brunettes/dark hair it makes the hair look like it wasn't styled. You also need model-like hair that does whatever you want to be able to pull it off. Hope that helps :)
Hey, Would it be okay to use the Redken frizz dismiss rebel tame cream for a blow dry / blow dry brush but the 250 F heat protection??? Would that be okay as it’s only a blow dry brush that I would be using . In your video I can see the 450 F one . Also , do keeping making these videos super helpful !! 😊🫶🫶
