On this reverse sensor pack there is no dashboard display. The reversing alert comes from a loud bleeper that you install behind the interior trim. With it being behind the interior trim it muffles the sound so that it is not too loud. Personally I do not like the look of an aftermarket display being sat on the dashboard. You can however get a display which you fix to the roof at the rear of the vehicle which can then be viewed through your rear mirror. These do not look like after market products. I understand the input port of the control device either accepts the bleeper or a display device.
Thanks. I dont enjoy the after market display either. I was actually searching for one that only used the alarm, but didnt know if they had them available. Thanks
Has anyone had to drill into the steel support beam behind the plastic bumper to get enough depth to fit the sensors? I don't have enough gap behind the plastic bumper to slide in the sensors all the way flush.
Hi Mate, to be honest I cannot remember. What I can tell you is that the sensors cost me $12.49 AUD on ebay. There were loads to choose from, and they all look the same to me. I don't think you can go wrong picking any of them. Thanks for watching.
When you buy the reverse sensors they usually always come with the correct drill bit for you to use. It is a cheap 22mm drill bit, but it does the job. Thanks for watching - Subscribe to my channel for new updates/uploads.
Oh, I understand. Then use a 22mm metal drill bit and take it slow. You will need to then make sure that the sensor can then still clip in otherwise if not, you may have to glue the sensor in place.
Good and awesome
How do you get the alerts? Did you not have wire for a display to put on your dash.

Yeah you need to check it before drilling, what car model do you own ?
Can you please share precisely which product you used? Model name and number? thanks
