      @@thediygovernor thank you for your reply. I did fix my parking Aid it was the left and right cameras on the back bumper. I sent for them they cost me $84 I got underneath my car and watch the video as to how to fix them and I did my battery was draining that has stopped now also on my 2013 Escape the back tailgate door would not close.
      I then went on Google and saw a gentleman talk about the same issue. I found out you have to have a door or window open to shut the tailgate. It's the pressure in the car
      That keeps popping the door open. I'm so so happy I got this fixed. And now my battery isn't draining anymore either
      I am a 71 year old woman young.
      I guess you can do anything you set your mine to do.
      Thank you for your support.

    Does the display have a voltage when the car is turned off ? I need to cut the display cable and take the display outside in order to check and repair it and I wonder if I should disconnect the car battery or not ?

      Hi Suhaila Saba and thank you for your reply
      I'm not sure about that because I didn’t install my kit, I just replaced a damaged sensor in an existing, already installed set.
      I guess it works the same as it works for any other component that connected to the battery.
      To be on the safe side, you better consult with an auto repair shop

    Hello my car has the same old conector as yours. Only one sensor is broken. Any idea of where to find it? Regards

    • @thediygovernor
      @thediygovernor  Год назад

      Hey Aldo, well the solution is in this video. You should disconnect the sensors one by one until you find the broken one, and replace it. Good luck!

    Hello,
    But how do you know if that is the culprit?
    Because in my situation every sensor has that clicking noise when you listen to it carefully, but I still get continuous beeping notice that I fix by hard pressing the sensor on the left and it then fix itself, but as soon as I go from D or P back to R(reverse) it changes back to that continuous beeping noice.
    Sensors are 2 weeks old, had that issue from yesterday where I drove the car and myself to Skii resort.

      Hello Oliver,
      That's sounds to me like a bad installation of the sensors
      Maybe you should try to disassemble each sensor at a time, until you find the one that responsible for the continuous beeping notices, and then replace it with a new one
      It also possible that the control box is bad and should be replaced
      Good luck!

      @@thediygovernorApparently, it was the third sensor.
      When I've unplugged the 3rd sensor It started working but without that one apparently.
      Anyways, I have changed all the sensors just in case, and now it's all good.

    Same freaking sensor is playing up as yours. I'll do some cleaning and if this doesn't work I'll order a replacement. Funny enough the whole system costs less then a replacement sensor.

      Yeh, that one bad sensor can be really annoying, and makes the whole alert thing useless. Good luck!

    Hi, Tnx for the video. Any idea why Cisbo sensors (same model as yours) not beeping at all? After cleaning with WD40 starts beep but after 2 hours stops again.

      Hi, I understand that none of the 4 sensors work? In that case, the problem is probably withing the control box to which the 4 sensers are connected. According to your description, a broken control box sounds more probable then simultaneously malfunctioning 4 sensors

      @@thediygovernor where would we find the control box? I have a Nissan NV3500 2016

    • @thediygovernor
      @thediygovernor  Год назад

      The sensors are connected directly to the control box, so it supposes to be close to them. You can reveal on of the sensors and its string until you reach the control box, or you can just try and remove or reveal covers inside the trunk (my favorite method - trial and error) until you find it

    Hi. I have SUV. I want to install front parking sensors. These are my two queries:-
    1. How many parking sensors should I install in front bumper ?
    2. How far outer sensors should be installed from side edges of the front bumper ? So that it should work accurately, provide safety but no continuous irritating alarms should occur from nearby side traffic also .

    • @thediygovernor
      @thediygovernor  Год назад

      Hello Sidg2,
      Sorry but I have no experience installing sensors new sensors. I only know How to fix existing and malfunctioning ones
      Plus, you need to remember that the front bumper sensors supposed to operate on Drive mode (instead of Reverse mode)
