I'd doubt you could use Urethane Foam for more than 10-15 min of heavy work before it all broke down into dust inside.
There's already tubeless systems, you need sealant and that requires replenishing every 6 months.

This is no good. The foam doesn't rebound fully after compression, so it will get compressed over time and pretty soon it'll be like you're pushing a half flat tire again. And then what? You've got a useless tire and a bunch of foam to go to landfill? It's idiotic to me. The patch was fine for a wheelbarrow. Just patch the tube, too, or install a new tube and leave it at that. Don't use foam.

I'm pretty sure these ideas come about because they don't have the luxury to just replace it. It's a wheelbarrow. I'm sure it won't be used as often as a car tire.

I get it that everyone is impressed by the ingenuity. However, he should have stopped after the inside tire patch and bought a new or used innertube. He would have saved a whole lot of valuable time. It must have taken hours to do that rim, not to mention the drying time of the filler. It delayed the job he was doing also. Too much time wasted. Sometimes it is better to spend the money.

I'd probably spend more time taking the tools in and out than actual labor if I didn't just buy a foam tire before dealing with flats.

Да, в 90х были такие колеса на детских велосипедах, самокатах и тележках, где не нужна сильная амортизация. Выглядела как длинный цилиндр из упругого пенопласта. Вставлялся вместо камеры.
Думаю тут тоже можно было просто сделать дырку в камере и через нее наполнить пеной. Правда не знаю смогла бы пена по всей камере растесься или пришлось бы как то со второй стороны делать отверстие и тоже заполнять. Но мне кажется это намного проще, даже с учётом сверления второго отверстия))

Эта пена под нагрузкой сжимается, и больше не разжимается. Всё полный отстой. Уже проверено

I tucked in foam through those holes, then plugged them.
For a month, the wheel was inflated, but then the outside softened. I tucked in foam in again. And it softened again after a month.
So the solution is temporal.

Я не заморачивался, когда в третий раз пробил камеру на тачке, вытащил ниппель, 100 мл. воды на глазок плеханул внутрь камеры и запенил из пистолета. Правда первую зиму простояла с грузом в огороде и весной смотрю, да промялась под грузом чуток. Просверлил дырку и монтажным пистолетом этот воздух дополнил пеной. Уже третью зиму ставлю колесом к верху и всё в порядке, летом хоть цемент вози, ничего не проминается.

Sugerencia útil.
Reparar la cubierta, y luego armar la reueda como si fuera cubierta sin cámara.
Segunda etapa: por el agujero de la válvula introducir la manguera del aplicador de espuma hasta aprox. el punto opuesto de la rueda aplicar espuma y a la vez ir retirando la manguera.
Tercer etapa. Introducir la manguera en la dirección opuesta a la anterior y hacer lo mismo.
Se ahorra amoladora, disco, soldadura, electricidad, y mucho tiempo.

Me pareció muy buena la idea , solo de mi forma de ver , después de reparar la cubierta, volvés a ponerla en la llanta y recién ahí por el agujero de la válvula ( e incluso con la válvula puesta ) llenar con la espuma, lo voy a probar ya que tengo una rueda similar ,💯🇺🇾

У меня, например, давно уже есть желание наполнить каким то пружинящим, но плотным материалом мотоциклетные колёса, т.к. для того, чтобы отремонтировать прокол в заднем колесе, надо потратить очень много сил и времени! То есть - этот ремонт приходится делать гораздо дольше, чем такой же ремонт у автомобильного колеса!!

try two part symmetric rims, that you can fit solid tires directly into, just keep the two rim halves together with the wheel mounting lug screws, or more.
How does this guy's still have fingers? This has to be one of the most dangerous moronic builds I've ever seen. You could probably by 6 tires and wheels for the time effort and money this costs.

I would have to see if it has elastic memory. Suppose you put 300 pounds of sand in the wheelbarrow and it sits there for overnight, causing the foam to compress. Will it spring back like a tire filled with air wood? I don’t think so.
my son has his front tire on his dirtbike, filled with some kind of foam made for off-road motorcycle tires. It is very solid, and I wondered if that tire would spring back after hitting a sharp impact on something like a rock or squaring off of a railroad track. That would smash the tire down to the rim, but will the tire and foam spring back,?
I bought a solid tire that fit from the hardware store. A lot less work. No more flats.

Я видел уже подобное на ютубе , только там один мужик на машине покрышки пеной задул , проехал немного и пена смялась и всё . Она сминается под весом и назад свою прежнюю форму уже не принимает .
I ride my bike eveywhere, its my only transportation, so i get flats a lot. I've tried everything, including solid tires, nothing worked for long. The only solution i found was to use tires with a plastic insert, so far nothing has gone through and it didnt cost any more than a normal tire.
