Never apologise for caring, Cor. Bless you for using the gifts you have to raise awareness of serious issues but also do remember to take time out for healing your own soul. Your shoulders are broad but they don't have to carry the whole world.

    Pointy hat and shiny scales,
He is the hero of many tales.
    A scholar who doesn't fear a fight,
A wizard with both heart and might.
By Talos give us an encore !
We can't get enough of Sings-Like-Cor.

Ah, time to take a break and indulge in a bit of nostalgia!
Faffing about (as you call it) is part of your charm and the series. Hope it doesn't sound too rude though, I'm not great with compliments (and who never let themselves get distracted by other exciting things?) Plus inventory management is often an important part of RPGs, especially after a while without playing, and there's also the spell management aspect, and the worldbuilding along its quests too... Lots of things to get lost into here, really!
Anyway, Arkngthand is a pretty memorable place: Snowy Granius the bridge guard (deadly at low levels), its peculiar exterior door (precursor to automatic doors?), its extensive maze of tunnels (luckily without many traps lying around as you pointed out) and other dangers & wonders!
A simple only-halfway-through comment, surely more later watching how Sings-Like-Cor gets past the first hurdle of the main quest in the bowels of these Dwemer ruins...

34 locked door, Ondusi's Key to give open 50pts on touch. Internally I'm screaming at my screen, externally I'm giggling you don't notice. I know you get the key from the box later though.
Great video as always though, love seeing Sings like Cor's adventure!

Spear is an underrated skill for mages and other squishy characters. It lets you build endurance without getting loaded down with heavy or medium armor; in fact, spears tend to weigh less than other two-handed weapons with similar damage output. Spears keep melee enemies at a distance, and depending on the version/patch, an animation quirk causes Argonian males to run faster while brandishing a spear. You can get basic spear proficiency in the Balmora Fighters' Guild basement where you met Hasphat Antabolis-- you might have to join the guild, I don't remember, but it's worthwhile even if you don't do any of their quests, because most of the supply chest contents are useful for you and the rest can be sold on the spot.

While having named characters populating dungeons and ruins is a great detail, I must admit I've grown to like having some places filling up again after some time. Immersion-wise, it can be justified by new bandits, smugglers or even creatures settling in a strategic or nice location.
He has found the Cuuube! To think this inconspicuous little cube is part of literally the 2nd quest of the main storyline. Easy to miss, tucked away on a shelf just like that, in a room below the entrance. That's one of the time where questmarkers would actually come in handy. Or they could've made a bit more noticeable at least.
Oh, and if you have some time when going back to Arkngthand, take a look at the outside from the other side of the mountain, you'll clearly see what that big dome room is for (or was for). I think it's a neat detail.
Must say, this moment got me laughing a bit: "Fireblade? Why do we have this?" before dropping it on the ground, in front of Sharn who just gave it to Sings-Like-Cor!
Threats from eerie self-named "Sleepers", ancient prophecies and beliefs, strange dreams... Looks like things just got a lot more complicated.

I like Danae123's "Friends & Foes" mod for adding random, named NPCs to the roads and wilderness. There are so many bandit caves that I seldom revisit them, but I never run out of random assailants keen to test my mettle, along with traveling merchants and pilgrims making the island feel more lived-in.

    Hey hey heyyy!!
So very nice to be back with Sings-like-Cor! 🥰😊😁
Busy times, confounding times, hard-to-believe times - glad to see you've retained your oasis of peace, too!
    Gotta balance this world somehow.
    I love the fanart! 🤩
    Iconic indeed 😁😁
Eight minutes in and we're already treated to a shirtless Caius. Cor, you spoil us! 😜😁
("Yeah, I was born with these abs, actually. My mum was the same.")
It's a big change for Sings, come to think of it - weeks, months ago he came to Balmora: unsure, unknown and undecided about his future.
And now he's a big name in the Telvanni circles, he's got quite a few legendary artifacts to his name and he has a long list of social injustices in his metaphorical pocket to solve! 💪🏻
It could be quite beneficial for Sings to get an enchanted Recall amulet - sometimes you can find those in bandit-occupied caves, but you could get one made. Wouldn't even have to be that powerful (=with such a powerful soul gem used), as you only really need to have a few charges in it - but it would be a sure way to escape as there's no failure to cast with enchanted items 😁
Also, it will never stop being funny that enemies will see an Argonian in a shiny robe, think "ha, a sorcerer, if I avoid his spells he'll run out of magicka soon, then it's lizard open season", only for Sings to whip out his claymore and cleave them in two 😆
I LOVE the Dwemer observatory!!! It would be great if we could actually use it, but it's just such an intriguing detail, a window into the lost culture of the Deep Elves, and it adds a wonderful sense of -- history made tangible? Of mysteries not explained, of building blocks of the abandoned fortress - ah, it just echoes through history, somehow.
Ten points to you for finding the cube that fast - it's usually a matter most frustrating as one scours the entire fortress several times over only to finally stumble across the blasted thing by pure luck 😂
(Come to think of it, how did your dear quest-giver know that it was there? Could he have overheard one of the smugglers/looters talking in a corner club somewhere? Is he in kahoots with them? Does he have a document of some kind that connects the place and the cube? So many questions!)
Nice work with the Recall spell, too! A true adventuring professional, our dear lizard is 😎
And a shiny boy, too! 🤩😁😁
Yes, Sharn gra-Muzgob is worried about the Temple because of her dark arts affinity; Dunmer consider necromancy as sacrilege/blasphemy/all that jazz because of their strong ancestor worship vibes -- they do bind the spirits of their dead to guard their tombs somehow, but reeeally dislike it when outlanders enslave their dear grandpa in such a way! 😅😁
....as she told you in her own, a bit harsher, words 😂
That block of raw ebony is really heavy! I daresay Sings can stash it next to "his" Mages' Guild bed and sell it at a later date, if ever, seeing as he won't probably get that much coin for it from merchants -- also, lore-wise, he could get in trouble for selling ebony when that's solely an Imperial (and possibly Hlaalu...?) enterprise! 😜
(Gameplay-wise nothing happens, of course. But I like the sort of play-pretend-realism we can weave around our beloved games 😁😁😁)
And OOOOOH, SINGS IS DREAMING! 😈😜😁
I honestly love the dreams very very much. Like much of Morrowind's lore, they are layered and mysterious and help sketch out a very vivid world!
And they certainly leave a very peculiar and uncomfortable feeling in the soul, after waking...
But surely that has only been the result of reading too many books before bedtime and, uhhhh, drinking too many potions and, uhhhhhhh, eating something nasty for dinner.
    Surely.
    Nothing to worry about.
    😜
    So!
Our wizard-y lizard has been quite the busy bee! Or...reptilee. 😜😁
Very much enjoyed his return, as well as your lovely narration and great accents.
It's good that you care about the world and are trying to do something to make it a better place.
Too often it seems like many people only think about life on a surface level, without giving much thought to consequences and implications - and that applies to many things, of course...
So it's important to remind ourselves that every little bit of good helps. Educating others helps. Being an example helps.
But! It's equally important not to fall into despair about it all, as - to steal a healthcare metaphor - a wounded and tired medic won't help anyone.
So I'm glad you have people and things to boost your spirits!
And that one of those things is this lovely, delightful, intriguing gem of a game 😊
Have a wonderful day, I will be looking forward to the next installment of Sings' adventures, whenever you feel like returning to Vvardenfell again! 😁

Sings Like Cor might want to consider learning a bit of alchemy since he is already vested in the arcane arts, also Argonians have a racial bonus towards it if I recall 🤔
Being able to make your own potions can really come in handy and can also be profitable if some extra coin is needed
Any alchemist should have a full set of the tools required but I hear caldera mages guild has a nice set you can “borrow”

Okay one last comment! That claymore is super heavy and might want to consider selling it and using short blades or something lighter. There are other lighter long blades like one handed ones. Cheers!
