Hey, you should write down the name of everything you used in this setup in the description of the video. Makes easier for us to try to build a setup like this.
Oh my I realized I never got to do that, thanks for the heads up. Let me add that real quick!
://@@BeefMamsir
u added plz?
@@BeefMamsirstill waiting on that setup a month later! lol
@@junito2899 doesn't she already uploaded in the caption ?
You would love the samsung fold and Dex. It would actually fit in your pocket.
rather to get a samsung phone & tablet separately for the price, besides foldables are prone to a lot of issues (speaking from experience)
@freedcrypto had mine without an issue for years. Just about to get the fold 6.
@@leewalker23 s24ultra + dex, but yeah still needs an external monitor for dex
@@nunyabz9494 tbh, I rarely use the dex when working with my tablet
@nunyabz9494 I use the hotel TV as a monitor ."gooooo DEX!!!?"
This was a clean little portable set up nice!!!
The concept and production value are unmatched! Excited to see your other videos!!
Another Vote for this specific keyboard. I have purchased probably the top 18 foldable/pocket keyboards off Amazon and this one blows all of them put of the water. I liked this model so much even after purchasing the other 18 keyboards that I ultimately ended up with three of this model. Just kicking about in different bags.
does it sync up quickly? i find that 3rd party keyboards tend to sleep and disconnect after a while
@@OrvinReyes I have never had that problem with this one. I use this keyboard on my phone and a raspberry pi 4 (kodi box) every single day and I would say within 3 to 5 seconds max of opening it, it's connected via BT. I also have personally never had it disconnect on my while using it.
Instantly subscribed when you said "I was gripping my wallet so tighly" 🤣 deffinetly a sleeper channel like the other guy said

Hi welcome 🧡
I like your tech setup! Great Japan photos too! 🌟
You just earned a new sub! I really like the vibe! ♥
That keyboard looks awesome
this is such an incredible setup
I really like your vibes. You have a really lovable character.
I think small portable setups like this are the future. Desktops, pfft, who needs’em? lol!
Unfortunately iPad and iPhone iOS limits the viability for this kind of setup. Which is a shame since iPads can have some impressive hardware but apple doesn’t want iPad sales to cut into MacBook profits
So cool, love how functional it all is!
This setup gives me cyberdeck vibes and I love it. I've been looking to do something similar for such a long time, but always fight myself about whether to use my phone or a tablet as the main engine for the setup and I really like how you've managed to incorporate both. Some great ideas and a super fun video. Thanks for sharing. Dope vest, btw.
Fold 4 will do all this. But if you need to edit videos on resolve. Thats really all its lacking.
She just made a small laptop. But more awkward.
Honestly this is rhe vision "Fold n' Slide" expandable phones will realize for the masses in a couple years.
The 7" > 8.5" > 10" display tech has already been shown off at CES for the past 2 years and it's only a matter of time before more compact hinges and thinner solid-state/3D Li-Ion batteries makes this possible!
I've been trying to minimize my carry, so this was very refreshing to see! Subbed :)
Love the setup. It's one I've cobbled together to get mobile before! Really interested in the utility vest though - It absolutely sent me down a rabbit hole
more videos like this please!! i really like your story telling
Big fan of you and your music 🧡🥹
I'm still using my Galaxy Tab S7, since it already has a keyboard, pen and case all in one. What it comes along is just my phone earbuds and mouse. My dongle doesn't need cables since it attaches directly on the side of the tablet. If I really need an extra screen my portable 14 inch touchscreen external monitor just tucked in my bag, solves most problems. With that much space I can still lug around my compact powerbank with fast charge. If I really need my desktop apps, I just link up to my desktop at home, wherever I am.
@@red_ashcroft oooh what's your external monitor?
I have a similar setup but never thought to properly prop the phone next to the iPad mini as a workflow extension. Shame on me, it seems. Stylistically, I think you would enjoy the form and function of the Chrome industries Kadet sling bag. It is not water proof, just very water resistant but would give you more room for other items while still being slim and easily maneuverable in an urban environment. Love mine! I keep a 8 liter backpacking dry bag inside it for those moments where I think I will be exposed to heavy rain for longer than a few minutes, I just throw all the tech into that. Might be too much of a hassle in a tropical environment but I find it works for me when I live.
@@Janus1000 just searched the Kadet sling and it's so pretty! Gonna do more research on it. Thanks for the suggestion!
Nice! And great to see a shout out for the awesome X-T3! 💕
This was a lot of fun to watch, thank you for giving me new ideas!
Very cool setup. Keep making videos!
Man imagine Apple Releases Universal control for iPhone. Just use the track pad and keyboard to use both iPhone and iPad.
if only ipad mini has 120hz display refresh rate
@@kikoy08 one day 🥹
That's a cool setup. I have that same folding keyboard. It was my fav to pair with my Samsung Tab A7 lite. Later I found another folding option called the ProtoArc XK01. It's even better because folded up it is almost the exact same footprint as the A7. Having the tablet and keyboard size match makes carrying them together feel really good in the hand. That said I prefer a numpad to a trackpad, and I also bring a slim Bluetooth mouse.
loved this video. don't normally post this type of comment tbh, but I found a TON of value here. thank you and I subbed :)

Solid tech EDC. Gonna follow, may the yt algorithm smile on ya. 🎩
really awesome mobile setup!
omg it's taetro
I love using tablets as well for work on the go! I have both 8" and 11" ones, so I change between them according to my situation :) A small 8" tablet is super convenient though for basically anywhere if you dont mind the screen size.
Great mobile setup!!! I love tech EDCs such as this. - DJ Abdel Aziz
@@MusicRCBicyclesCoffee Aye! Thank you so much for dropping by. Me and my friends actually really enjoyed your set the last time I went to LU. I'll def try to catch you again in your next gig 😄
I'm curious about the vest that you're wearing in the video.
I dig the ultra-light ultra portable setups like this. Thanks for sharing yours. I had the BK08 as well but I find the touch pad too small and works poorly with IOS. I replaced it with the BK03 which is great you gain a bit of realestate which allows the layout to mimic a more traditional keyboard layout. For curser control I added a Logitech Pebble to the kit. It is still very compact and light but the Pebble mouse is luxurious compared to the trackpad on the BK08 and I like the better keyboard layout.
@@luvinfunvan i agree on the BK08, I'm not a huge fan of the trackpad because my pinky always accidentally touches it. I think the BK03 and pebble mouse is a great combo. I already have the pebble so I guess the next step is to get a portable keeb!
This is really cool, I would add an apple watch to have the timer when you need it. Although I don't know if it would be able to, I don't have any experience with apple products #teamandroid but I've always been jealous of their seamless connectivity
Great video as always! Keep em coming!
I appreciate ya! 🧡
I started in the 90s with a combination of different PDAs, keyboards and mobile phones, hoping that one day they would finally make my PDA and phone one. So I am kinda living in a dream come true, and then some!
For years I enjoyed the challenge of seeing just how much I could do only using my phone and a keyboard, and it turns out that you can do a surprising amount of stuff. Yes, a laptop might be easier... but where's the fun in that huh?
(BTW: I've also used a variety of computers, laptops, netbooks, tablets and operating systems, and I currently use a decent Chromebook and my phone. Each to their own I suppose:-)
I’m impressed
On a side of thing, you speak totally like one of my favourite programmer mentor @Kevin Powell
Let’s GOOO! Your content is amazing! keep it

Weird way to propose but "I DO" ❤

Thank you, I appreciate it!
@@BeefMamsir I ordered the keyboard to try, but find it hard to get used to with my ipad mini, pretty easy to make mistakes (I could be the problem). For the price though, it's really not bad, the trackpad works pretty well.
@@ay18c i super get that. I often put the keyboard slightly more to the right so I don't accidentally touch the trackpad with my pinky. Just need some getting used to. Although tbh, I wish you could have the choice to enable or disable the trackpad
I thought that you can use the XR reality glasses, so you can have many virtual displays.
Woo love the set up! Wonder if it would work with my Samsung z Fold 4
Get my boy some pocket monster cards while your out pleease
I think its interesting when people say i traded my android tablet for an ipad when I did the opposite because the ipad i had for 3 years just didnt work out for me so i got a samsung tab and it was so much better especially with the microSD expansion

And now bot systems should be able to take usb-c SSD MEMORY
question: does your neck hurt when using that set up? cause i cant help but think that my neck would break off after some time trying to look down at the small screens
@@twiphe4375 you can use ipad cases that raises it higher like the Moft snap folio so it's not as straining!

Hey cover your Tech EDC bags😊. Great video btw.
I've been meaning to do that! I shot an EDC bag comparison before but didn't end up liking the way I wrote it so I scrapped the video. I'll definitely make some in the future though 😊

Sub'd - this is good stuff right here!
great video
well this is specifically if your work can run on an ipad, i have tried to do a small part of my work on an ipad and oh boi, it's just makes me wanna ditch the ipad and get a cheap laptop instead
@@nunyabz9494 i usually type my script and do research on the ipad but the moment I wanna do anything on the google sheets I gotta bring out the laptop lmao
@@BeefMamsir i tried to work on excel, adobe acrobat for just some stuff and oh boi the amount of crashes i got before a flight was insane, like 5x crash on onedrive and excel, then i had to do manual type bcs apparently both excel and adobe acrobat on ipad is rather garbage to begin with.
I have a similar set up woth my Z fold 3. Soon to be z fold 6. 😂 Eliminating the need for an extra device like a phone.
@@IDaumI such a beautiful piece of tech, do you use samsung dex with your setup?
@@BeefMamsir nope, because it requires a monitor. It's cool but I'd rather use my MacBook at that point.
This is media I’m down to ingest.
@BeefMamsir thank you
I'd advise on a 2 in 1 - this is too fiddle and cumbersome to set up and put away - easier to have a laptop at this point. Some people want to live life on hard mode though.
@@poulan9 the setup is actually not as cumbersome as you'd think! I've got a macbook pro and the weight is too heavy for me sometimes. When I have to type up scripts and emails I'd rather much have this setup that fits in my sling bag and doesn't weigh a lot. The setup time is also faster than booting up a laptop.
Where is the plotter notebook video? :) love those video, btw
Glad you liked it, I'm uploading the Plotter video tomorrow! ✨

You have huge pockets.
Can you do an android version pls
Maybe one day I can, I bought this setup with my own money I can't just buy android for now :(
it's better to just get a macbook air than to piece things together every time.
Well depends on your type of work! If you have a macbook air you might not need this setup tbh unless you have the budget for both. I on the other hand have a macbook pro for heavier tasks like video editing but the weight is heavy if I bring it around with me all day. I'd rather bring this setup if I do light tasks like typing up scripts and emails.
you know they sell laptops right?

EveryDay Carry 😀
i think i found my wife..that is u..
bought that keyboard not that great, prefer logitech keys togo (not foldable tho) but ipad mini goated and rest is good content
After a while of using it I realize I don't prefer the trackpad as I always accidentally hit it with my pinky while typing and it brings the cursor to another dimension. As for the typing experience it's one of the best in terms of foldables. There's gonna be a trade off with the typing experience comparing it to logitech (pebble/keystogo) or other low profile keebs. It just depends on your preference which aspect is a deal breaker.
@@BeefMamsir they have a version without the trackpad! found it at bic camera akihabara and i would recommend you checking out the lexar professional for the sd card and whatnot seems v dope
you know a ipad pro 11 inch with a magic keyboard sort of is better than this (although it is expensive as hell)
To each their own I guess haha! For my use case it is better to have a more compact setup since I just use it for typing scripts and emails. So no matter how powerful a tablet is, if it can't fit in my 3L sling bag then I will not bring it around. I've had a samsung s9+ tablet and it's a top notch tablet that is powerful but the size and weight made it unusable for me. But yea you're so right with the ipad pro 11 in and magic keyboard combo to be expensive as heck rip
@@BeefMamsir truee maybe one day iPad mini can get a Magic Keyboard but even that’ll be expensive as heck
Or just buy macbook air no hassle
I have a macbook pro and would still prefer to bring this setup if I just have to type scripts and reply to emails. The weight and size makes it the best companion for doing that type of work outside 😊
pinay mamsir?
Yes po hehe
Wen you change to a aple product became a not real workstation, yu just use it as a enterteinment so naaa
yes of course, because you sound like a very productive person.
You make no sense.
Lol. 🤡 doesn't know about the Samsung Galaxy Fold series. It eliminates the phone and tablet combo. It also has stylus support. My setup is lighter and even cleaner looking.
@@skubeeraw I do know about the Samsung Galaxy Fold series. But for now I prefer the apple ecosystem 😊
Switching to the IPad when your phone was already and IPhone makes sense. I'm an android user but when you're doing a mobile set up it makes sense to stick with one ecosystem.
I have A sickness that unfortunately destroyed my family… it causes me to be stuck in a hospital every month for weeks. I really need to break all my tools of graphic Designing down to the smallest I can. So thank you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
Try z fold ma lady. It's all of these in one device.
Literally
@@katram11 I've been so curious about the z fold for so long now! Especially now the new release, hopefully I get to test it out in the future
Yes! It is! Typing this from Z Fold 3
Just got the z fold 6. It's a beast! Naw, let the apple fannies stick to apple. The love spending money lol
Alternate setup, switch out the ipad mini with a zfold 6, you dont need the phone, but if you want then a huge s24ultra screen is the perfect compliment. I use my s24ultra as a second screen which you can use same mouse on both screens like multi monitor pc. Thats what i use, not an apple hater, i carry a 15 pro max in my left pocket. I just like the versatility and customization of samsung better. Plus the set up comes with 2 s pens
I set up a tiny productivity travel kit but mines centers around a GPD Win 4 running windows 11, a Samsung S tab 8+ that can be used as a remote display or on its own, a elecom bluetooth mouse, a iClever BK05 model, i also backed a 1tb flash drive that has both a usb A and USB C ends, i currently have an Omnicharge 20+ as a battery bank but im thinking about upgrading to something larger. The last think im looking for is a backpack sling bag and i think ive found it but havent purchsed it yet.
For camera i just have a sony rx-100 M6
I recently bought a Plotter Mini 5 and I wasn’t sure how to use it. I watched your other video first, and now my system is set up! Thank you!
