as an indonesian, i think its true. people here are obsessed with white colored skin, not only caucasian white but also asian white. its pretty weird cause the natural skin colored for us are medium brown, i guess people want what they dont have

Jessica Thompson Actually a lot of the photoshop work was fairly poor. While they might be better than an "average" user a lot of them are certainly not in the expert category
Ignoring what they were aiming to actually do in terms of their "beauty standard" there was a lot of heavy handed use of smoothing tools etc. that just made me cringe.
My personal preference for images is unedited. I'm a hobby photographer who aims to get the best image out the camera possible. I don't dispute that photoshop is a good tool for getting a perfect image but many of these were way to heavy handed.
diceman199 BuzzFeed is all about quantity. They just pump out shitty vids, see which ones stick. This whole video is probably fake and made by like 1 - 3 photoshoppers.
