- If you're looking for speakers in the $500-$600 range these are the two you probably hear about the most. Both are stellar options but I prefer one over the other and give my take.

Owning a pair of BR03s I totally agree with the "girl in the bar"-analogy. It's really a speaker you want to enjoy music from. Coming home late from a hard days work, pouring a glass of neat whiskey and just relaxing in the couch with some smooth jazz. That's the Boreas for you! Kudos! Liked this comparison a lot.
As a rp600m owner, I can say thats right. The klipsch are great at the beginning, so demolish, so crazy, so dynamic... but after some days they´re kind of exhausting, even hard to listen... ¿ Im not saying they´re bad, not at all, but I would prefer something more stable, more daily. The BR03s are on my list. I´ll try them.
Best comparison I've ever heard till date... Super stuff... U made it sound so simple.... Loved it !!!
Ah thanks a ton! I love watching other reviews too where they go into detail about the vinyl wrapping and whatnot but honestly I'm more curious about the sound signature and didn't want to flood YT with more data of what's already been put out there. Sean, Thomas, and CheapAudioMan go into detail about all aspects of the speaker if you want more info!
@@MidFiGuy Have heard them all... but must say that your review is the most comprehendible... Its so easy to grasp. ! Also liked Tee Jay the stereo bargains take coz he always goes that extra mile in all his reviews...!
@@eltonc1505 Tee Jay is a rockstar! Who else dissects speakers like he does? Amazing channel
@@MidFiGuy So, if I listen to Dance / electronic ..Rock music should I tend more to the Klipsch? Thanks for your review
I did quite a bit of research and ended up buying the BRO3 and I am very happy with them. I power them with the Carver M500t power amp, 250wpc and they sound beautiful. Back in the day I used the Carver to power two Cerwin-Vega cabinets with 15 inch woofers. I was an absolute terror! These days my volume is a lot more modest.
Klipsch RP-600M all time
Or the Klipsch RP-600M II
@@SpotOnFyn, very fatiguing.
The Triangle is smooth and natural sounding speaker to my ears. The Klipsch is energetic, turbo like sound.
BR03 really shines when it comes to tonallity. They sing on key and instruments sounds realistic.
This was good. Different. You are not claiming golden ears, nor knowledge all things audio. Honest, subjective review. Kind of refreshing.
The borea speakers are such a conflicted speaker. Some reviewers absolutely love them while others absolutely hate them. I do agree that you have to crank up the treble on the boreas to make them sound good on electronic music; they are definitely more relaxed in their signature.
Gosh you made the BRO 3's very very tempting however I have the RP6OO'S and I love them thanks for the interesting review
I own a pair of Br03's and i love them
As an owner of the previous generation 600m (called the 160m) I think your explanation is accurate and fair. I personally love the fast and crisp response on the Klipsch but compared to my wharfedales I see some thing it left out. I wish they could EQ the Klipschs flatter because it feels like it has more potential and they waste it by voicing it in such a polarizing way. Just subbed btw, great channel!
Like your videos specially when you work and take time thanks buddy
Thank you. Sometimes I spend too much time but that's usually because I'm enjoying the music :D
You're great at this! Keep it up and keep em coming!
Compliments, I've spent 3h in a listening room yesterday and I sampled those 2 speakers w/ 2 different amps. The triangle is MUSIC, while Klipsch is noise. The Triangle was truly a "sound stage" master. Buying a pair on Monday.
Great review, one of the best I’ve seen in plain English…after buying my BRO3s yesterday, I’m pleased as punch
If you're talking strictly for music, you're correct. If your application is more multimedia, the Klipsch is the better choice.
Uh-oh! Be careful. Last Christmas I purchased the Klipsch RP600m for my media room setup. Since then I have audition several speakers in my home. Tried Bros, Elac debut reference, Warfdals, Bowers & Wilkins 606 S2 Anniversary, KEF LS50 Metas, Bowers & Wilkins 706 S2, and finally the 705 S2s.
Each speaker had something I liked and of corse, things that I did not like. The B&W 606 were my favorite in the sub $1000 category. I even preferred them over the LS50 Metas. Would have stayed with the 706 S2s but I got a good deal on the 705 S2s so I pulled the trigger.
Going to be interested in seeing were you land! 😁
Haha dang, you should start a YT channel! This is definitely dangerous territory for the wallet considering all the options. The B&W's sound tempting, will have to add that to the list for a future video. Thanks for the comment!
So Sammy. So IYO, The Bros beat em all?
The Triangles are also great at drum definition. Also the upper/mid bass is strong so yes, it won't rock your room but it will be more accurate overall.
I've got the Bro's, the Wharfedale Denton 80th Anniversary speakers, and the Buchardt S300's. Keep going back to the Wharfedales, despite them being the cheapest ones (for me). The only problem is they're not the best at low level listening. But they can rock out with authority!
I have the Denton 80s and I'm having a hard time adjusting to them.
With my gear I get a narrow soundstage, congested mids, and little top end air and presence.
Any advice?
Considering the BR03s instead.
@@nicksummers2252 yes..get the BRO3’s! Ha sorry for the stupid comment but I’m just having fun. Did you end up keeping the Wharfies? If so, what’s been your overall experience with them and were ya able to mitigate some of those sound issues you were having trouble acclimating to? Hope you’ve been enjoying your music regardless of what setup(s) you’re currently running 😀😀
I've owned Nola Boxers which are amazingly musical and the BR03 gets me 90% of the way there for far less.
I bought the rp600m just to see what was the hype all about. Well, at the end I still have no idea what's the hype was about. The imaging was blurry, recessed mid, the horn was catching way too much attention in which you can always locate the speakers. I sold it after a few weeks and bought a pair of LS50 and much satisfied.
LS50 is two or three times the price…
RP-600M for €350. Really can't complain. They are fun indeed, especially with a sub.
Completely! A very fun speaker that will make many happy. I'm sensitive to too much treble for longer listening sessions which is one reason why I went BR03 but YMMV!
Nice review! I would really like to hear the Bro-3. Ok, now it's time to try the Elac Unifi UB5 2.0. Prepare for your mind to be blown. BUT, you must break them in, they need a solid 100 hours of play time to really show what they can do and throw the huge soundstage with the precise, point source, concentric-based imaging they are capable of. Pull them out into your room a bit as well.
Would love to get the Elacs in at some point. Curious if anything can match the mid presentation that I got from the BR03's at this price range.
@@MidFiGuy Absolutely will, guarantee!
Hi. Congratulations for your channel. I am really impressed so pleasant to watch and understand without the boring jargon. YES I would love to see a review of the Elacs UB5.2 and please also advise on matching amps apparently they need power. Thank you.
Paper woofer on BRO 3 is nice too. Good review. Thanks.
I was just about to buy the Br3's on an hour long demo with some Bowers but I changed my mind and ditch them. The reason being is their tweeter. They're just normal tweeters, you'll know where they at once you listen to them, they don't create that stereo image that the Bowers do.
Beautiful comparison
Love the video, super informative and easy to understand for a novice! Also would love to know what speaker stands your using since they match so well with the triangles!
Love your honesty. If you want to try something with the Klipsch instead of selling them, GR Research has an upgrade kit where you replace the crossover, wire and add some dampening material. Could be a fun project ;)
Definitely sounds like a fun project but I'd void my warranty and I really dig the BR03's. Thanks for the callout though, maybe I should start a Patreon to fund these fun projects
Really enjoyed your laid back review and love the low jazz music track. What's the A/B switcher you are using?
That was a funny metaphore in this comparison :)
Klipsch have always sounded "metallic" to me. The BR03s are more neutral and "smoother". They image larger and wider, and are more forward than my MBL 323s, and far more sensitive. The Triangles do vocals, especially female, extremely well. Same with Jazz.
How do the BR03s compare to Triangle Elara LN01As?
My music tastes lie heavily on the extreme side, so Klipsch stays in the long run for me :) thanks for confirming
Dude, play Bryan Adam’s “Cuts like a knife” from the MTV Live album. There’s a flute solo in this track, which is almost inaudible with the RP600M, due to a big crossover dip in 1700Hz. Sold mine for this reason.
Oh jeez, I believe it. I found some gaping holes in the mid region when I would switch back & forth between the two speakers. Thanks for the callout, may use this for a future test!
Sold mine too for exactly that reason!
where at in the song would I find it?

Got little brother BR02, really good speakers for music
I have the BRO3 too, but I think if somebody like a more lively tweeter he can buy the triangle one above the BRO3 that was of metal, or so. I think the midrange-speaker was same. I am just sensitive to metal tweeters, so I choose paper, even if it appears sometimes filtered.
👍 Great honest review!
Hey man! Just found out your channel and you earned a sub!
I wish to buy this exact same model for my computer but i am hesitating between these and a triangle br03 with an an ampli.
What are your thoughts ?
Thanks for the review !
Daing. Was gonna grab me a pair of the Klipsch later this year once I cop that stimmy check feel me? Hehe ;) Gonna have to switch it up now tho and go with the Triangle's for the media den. My boy A-1 gonna be like whaaaat? Mid-Fi Guy said that??? Haha he always trippin'
If you were comparing the new version of the 600m it would be a whole different story
Bro, (see what I did there?) another fine review...keep up the great work!
Haha, thanks mate!!
of these two which one would you recommend for use as frontals in a home theater. cinema
They are different. Klipsch for pops not for easy listening music. Keep both is the way.😊
I am considering choose one between Whafedale Denton and Klipsch RP600M. I have tube amplifer and prefer to hear soft high, plentiful mid and abundant low sound. In my case, which one do you recommend?
Your reviews are amazingly eloquent ! Do you have a patreon? I’m sure we all would love to support you and also get your tips and tricks. I have some questions myself :)
? no point.... bought both, of course.... after 100 hours... one can hear diffs...depends on AMP too... in our rooms, using acoustic , jazz, blues, music, ...the cheaper tube amps seem to like borea 03, ... but unison simply italy loves
rp600m, and klipsh 8000f2, .... so,,, if u can afford, get both, while u can...
Odd one would use the word "excited" versus harsh. Horns are by nature bright but lively is a different thing altogether.
Fair point, though NRD points out it's not actually a horn driver: ruclips.net/video/EqJC-CAj-zc/видео.html
Sorry for this comment being very late but I would like to know how these two compare with the KEF LS5O II or META?
Please do boyuu a50 300b tube amp review too. 😁
would you say the klipsch would be better for movies and games? Especially if you can get it in the 480$ price range that klipsch sometimes goes to.
I am going nuts trying to figure out myself :) So hard to buy speakers without listening to them. FYI Amazon has RP600M for $437 right now.
Good content. Dropping the music would help.
Any thoughts on the Borea 2?
To each his/her own...I love my RP-600m...got them hooked up to a 12 inch sub and it's a live performance even at low volume...nothing is better than live...so why shade it?....
The Triangles are more human. And the name Triangle is from the triangle formed by the 2 speakers and your head.
The Klipsch is the girl at the bar with 100+ body count.
as usuañ sound demo????????????????????????
What are the white speakers stands??
what about the rp600mii?
There is a bass roll off and it's delayed, issues with highs as they are not flat and port resonance with the br003. it's a mass of a speaker
Yes. About 6 Kgm.
it’s not klipsss sir😊🤭
😂💯👍
Klipsch not Klipps
Thanks, great review
