I know rare people would read my comments. But this is the first time I leave comment on RUclips. I have been to Guadalajara and staying there for 6 months for an Exchange Program. This video just reminded me of The Most Beautiful Country in the world. I really want to go back and experience her beauty again.
Mexico is so unique because it's unlike those European countries where you can foresee what you will see before you even go there. From snow mountains to plains full of corn, from canyons to waterfalls, from white sand beaches to crystal clear enclaves. Not to mention the nicest people and rich culture, and the most missed food that they offer. I mean I'm Chinese, we are so proud of our culture, food, sceneries, but VIVA MEXICO.
I'm now having a hard life because I persist on my Avocado Business in last 2 years. However, I have never been regretful about what I have done because I fell in love with avocado because of Mexico.
I hope one I could go back , simply enjoy the sunshine , the dry air, the thin mist that flows on the vast plain every morning. Miss Mexico, Miss Guadalajara, Miss Universidad Panamericana. Miss my Spanish teacher and Helena. And the old lady who I lived with.

I love when foreigners visit Mexico because they realize the beauty that there is in this country and each part is different from others as you You're breaking the classic stereotypes that there are about the country as Mexico is a desert like there are Mariachis and you realize the cultural beauty of the country and thank you for coming to Mexico.
To bad it is such a long drive to a tropical mexican beach for me. 😞 But.... I do like the Arizona Sonoran High desert along the border! And grabbing a marlin taco at El Pescadito. 🙂

I mean, I have no words literally, I'm from Mexico City but I've been studying in France for almost 3 years, so I haven't come back to Mexico in a long time, now the only thing I want to do it's go back and visit all this amazing places and all the others that I'm sure they exist, it's amazing how sometimes you get to know and appreciate other countries but you don't realize that your country has everything and more than you can expect! Hello foreing people I would like to tell you something as a Mexican who has traveled around many states in México with his parents.
Mexico is a huge country! You wont imagine how mucha diversity there are in this country, every state you visit in Mexico is like you're visiting another country. Every state has its own beauty, its own kind of food, some places its own language. One day you could be in a tropical and beautiful beach and then 2 hours you could be in a snowing montain, you could visit a modern and huge city, with skyscrapers and 2 hours from it, a beautiful magic town!
Dont be afraid to visit this country, I know you might saw bad news, but most of the people and most of our cities and towns are safe!
If you are thinking about traveling by car in Mexico, I would like to recomend you to take most of the time highways, you could take roads when the sun is out, but if you're traveling at night just take highways its an advice! Try to not visit conflictive zones such a Tamaulipas state.
If you want to ask me something, ask I'll will you an advice. Enjoy MEXICO!!

I like the diversity of places you visited. There were as you said mointains, beaches, crowded cities, deserted coasts, unexpected rains and gorgeus lanscapes. Great job promoting Mexico, Jacob! I must admit the country wasn’t exactly on top of my to-do list, but you made it look (and sound) so appealing. The wooden bridge segment had me looking at the screen in awe - the mist, the picturesque walk, the cloud’s colours… such a beautiful moment!

Amazing video! My favorite places in Mexico are Huasteca Potosina, Bacalar, Guanajuato, San Cristobal, Morelia to see the Monarc Butterflies, Patzcuaro, Taxco and Puerto Vallarta but I've only seen half the country, hopefully you make pt 2 in Mexico the quality was 👌
Also Campeche, Yucatán, Querétaro, Yaxchilán, Calakmul, Puebla, Barrancas del Cobre (Chepe).

When you have such amazing nature around you it's easy to get lost on the way and start focusing on things that are important to you personally but not interesting to the rest of the world. I don't know what changed, I'm no videographer/producer, but something about this video makes it feel really intimate. You've definitely inspired me to plan a road trip around Mexico some time soon. A wonderful mix of urban and cultural experiences, historically educational sites, and a natural and geological wonderland.
If I may ask, how expensive was the car rental and petrol in Mexico? And how were the road conditions?
I recently drove around the Westfjords of Iceland and it was scary as fuckkkkk. Gravel/rocky roads around the mountains with steep drops on both side. It felt like one wrong move or a big rock could make the car go tumbling down the mountains.

But I have to say, the roads you took, no body drives thru them, Mexico has toll roads that are very well maintain, other than that you captured Mexico like no body has done it before.
I've driven in at least 27 states in México, I've done almost the same road trip and most of the highways are in good to very good shape, except in some parts of Veracruz and La Huasteca, but even to get to the Sótano de las Golondrinas he took a unknown highway instead of the federal highway :D
