I’m proudly mexican and this video makes me feel goosebumps, it is amazing how the foreigners appreciate our heritage more than us, thank you for showing the wonders and beauties of my country, and not the wrong stereotype that most of people has on us.
I lived in Oaxaca for over 10 years, and after watching this video, I can't wait to go back. I love your enthusiasm and joyful personality. Thanks for a great video.
this is giving me serious blues.....today one year I go I went backpacking through Mexico... dam! Saw some of these spots and wanted to see some of those. ah Mexico. you are amazing
Mexico is SOO big that you'd need ten more videos like this one to touch lightly on each Mexican state. Great video. Cheers from Baja California, México.
My favourite part was about Palenque, it's one of the most beautiful parts of Mexico with yet more rich history. Oftentimes we associate Mexico with the Aztec Empire, which is valid, but we forget how vast and widespread the Mayan empire was. And it's very exciting to know that we've only researched and catalogued the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Palenque.
I really want to go to Palenque. The pyramids are just so amazing. It blows my mind that only a little bit of the city is discovered. I wonder how big it is
I am from Mexico City...living in China now and I really liked your video and truly appreciate your love of Mexico. You brought up more than a few (not all) places I’d never been to! So ..Muchas Gracias
Martincito why are you so condescending and nasty towards a nice comment? You’re trying to pick up a fight for no reason- you’re the ultimate asshole. You must have a lot of free time in your hands - keep busy you loser
Some great spots (seems you wandered mostly central Mexico). So many more amazing spots in the best country on the planet. Los Barrancas del Cobre needs to be on the list.
Omg, I want to travel through Mexico more than ever. I've been slowly learning Español for the last couple years and it's SO much fun getting to put it to use and speak with locals in Spanish speaking countries! So many amazing locations Jacob. Thanks so much for sharing this! The format you've been doing is really cool as well! Instead of making a vlog for each individual place, you're making videos on the whole country and including so many places in each one! You're a visionary man! Can't wait for the next one! #WeAreExploriors ✊🏻❤️
Jordan, don't believe the media, of course it is crime like any other country, look at Chicago, your are safe if, you not a drug dealer or with the cartels, welcome bro!!
Jordan pike keep learning Spanish, but anyway a lot of Mexican people we speak English, so you will be fine speaking with local people from everywhere you go. My recommendation is don't walk so late, and walk on crowded places, if you are far from drugs don't have to be worried.
I have been to many of these places and they are incredible. Las Posas, Palenque, Tulum, Uxmal (31 different sites) etc. One of my favorite is Barranca del Cobre. 4 times bigger than the Grand Canyon. Thanks for some great ideas.
I'm agree with you. I'm mexican but I'm taking english lessons. I visited Barrancas del Cobre and I am going to choose one more time, because ths place is truly magical, it's worthy to admire. My family and me stayed in a hotel without wifi and TV, we stayed awake for seeing the stars. It was amazing

Mexico is such a beautiful country. Usually, I don't hear many positive things about it so it's nice to see the beauty of it. In addition, it is full of life and culture. The architecture in San Miguel de Allende is unique and pretty.
@Jaime Alonzo I think the real motive for the wall is to keep Americans inside the US. Too many have been discovering paradises in Mexico and moving there over the years.
@Jaime Alonzo In the US their citizens are known as Americans throughout the world. It means no disrespect to others who live in North America. It is just a nickname. But going back to my original point, the motive for the wall is probably to keep more US Citizens inside the USA.
Proud to be Mexican 🇲🇽♥️💥 I hope this video reaches out many more people so they can see the hidden beauty that most don’t know about. Please keep uploading more videos of Mexico 🇲🇽 🥳🎊👋
You are so amazing. I'm living in Mexico for 4 years now and considered myself quite an adventurer but you just blown my mind! Loved everything about this video thank you so much!! I have a new list filled with amazing places to visit. When you ever come back to Mexico visit Bacalar.. 4 hour drive from Cancun and right above Belize, it's called the lake with 7 colors it's also beautiful!!
Every time you post a video from Mexico I fall in love with it more and more! I knew that's an amazing and extremely beautiful country, but I was always afraid that's far too dangerous to go, especially on my own. Now I see that there is no reason to worry and I must to go there, for sure! P.s. San Miguel is a place that I have visited before when I was very young, with my mother and father who wanted to go sightseeing. The architecture in that city is absolutely amazing, and I hope to visit again in the future, as the cultural significance of that city can't really be understated, and it really exudes a vibrant Mexican feeling.

Wow, seems like Mexico is such an amazing country and I definetely want to go there one day! I love places that make me feel really small ( even though I already feel small 99% of the time / small girl problems haha), they make me realize how big and powerful the nature really is! That feeling is one of the reasons I love traveling so much, and that canyon and Tamul waterfall seems just like the right place for that ❤ #weareexploriors
I think it is interesting how alot of this places on the list ARE in the state of San Luis Potosi! I was born in Mexico City but I lived most of my life in Rioverde, San Luis Potosi. Great memories. 🥰😍😘😉
When people think of tourist locations in Mexico, their minds automatically shift to Cancun or Cabo but this country is vast and filled with hidden gems. I appreciate that this video talks about the actual hidden gems such as Palenque. The architecture is second to none, in my opinion and filled with rich history. I may have to look back to this video once I begin planning my next trip after this pandemic!
I loooooove Holbox! My husband wanted to quit his job and just stay there. It’s really beautiful, calm and idyllic. You can literally walk around the island barefoot. And the mosquitoes really are no joke. I’m from Atlanta and I have never experienced mosquitos like that in my life. They literally came out at dusk and swarm until the sun came back up. You will need real insect repellent with Deet. The eco friendly stuff does not work on those mosquitoes 🤣🤣
Asi es, desde su altiplano hasta su huasteca, tiene de todo, lastima (aunque tambien es un punto bueno) que sea tan infravalorado y los extranjeros solo conocen Cancun, Cabos y el DFectuoso.
I’m so proud of my country and of myself because I can say that I’ve visited 15 places that appear in this list, and yes, they all are wonderful. So proud of being mexican❤️🇲🇽
So excited to have found your channel! Going to Mexico to find the real gems and all I could find were videos of the parties in Cancun! Excited to check some of these out for myself!
Hi Jacob. I absolutely love this video! The only place I knew in Mexico was Cabo because of reality shows. I never thought Mexico could have such amazing places, as a South African I feel this is better than a vlog because it gives more info #weareexploriors
Hey, Jacob! Thank you for this new video about Mexico. With all your videos I falling in love with Mexico step by step. Especially liked pink landscapes of “Las Colorados” and “Teotihuacan” although it’s so overcrowded (still one of mustsees of Mexico). Thank you for inspiring us to see the world around us! Also, I’am planning a trip to Minsk, Belarus (19-22 Feb), tickets are already booked, so stay tuned and I’ll write some impressions about the city and the country itself. To be honest, I’am really excited to see Belarus, people keep talking me that it’s like a “Journey back to Soviet Union” 😂. And, yeah #WeAreExploriors !
I was born and raised in Mexico (I`m 60 years old now) and I swear I had never, ever heard in my entire life of the """Tamul waterfalls""". They look beautiful. It`s amazing what you learn!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to travel to south of Mexico there is such wonderful places to go to. I am Mexican and I haven’t visited as many places as I wanted from Mexico, but south of Mexico is beautiful with all the indigenous Mayan influence!!!
I live here and I my Gosh! There Is beautiful places to know in my own country. I will recommend 2 amazing places. One is Barrancas del Cobre in Chihuhua and another place is Apoala in Oaxaca (Near to Asunción Nochixtlan) actually the trail to go to Apoala is awesome, there are weird rocks and sand from different colors the lanscape it´s really strange.
Here then, here now!🤭 As I said, I am in awe over Mexico's diversity, it seems like there's something for every single traveler to enjoy. I love how your points flow from one to another like a river and I love that you display maps so it's easier for us to orientate!😊 Thank you for showing us Mexico and its immense beauty, you bloody legend!♡ #WeAreExploriors
valentine wandy i don’t know which parts of Mexico they visited but it doesn’t mean every part of Mexico is dangerous. It’s like saying all parts of the United States are Compton, which is considered a very dangerous place in the US for its gangs. it’s up to you if you want to rely on other peoples experiences or visit it yourself.
valentine wandy Think about it...if it was completely dangerous this video wouldn’t exist, just like a lot of other traveler videos of México. Yes, there’s a drug and narco problem. No, it’s not everywhere.
Jacob, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being one of the most inspiring people I've known in the past two years. Thank you for showing the beauty of all those different cultures, people and countries. around the world. Thank you for making me lose the fear of the unknown. Thank you for making me stay curious. Thank you for making me feel that it is possible to achieve all my goals and dreams. Thank you for all those beautiful rice fields in Flores. Thank you for showing me the kindness of the people in the slums of Mumbai. Thank you for showing me your struggle and success on your way to the top of the world in Khardung-La. Thank you for those bike rides in Vietnam. Thank you for all those volcanoes, mountains and roads. Thank you for showing me that it is possible to travel the world with only the basic stuff. Thank you for showing that life is short and we shouldn't waste a second. To sum up, thank you for all your work inspiring other people sharing all those wonderful moments with all your audience. Mr. Laukatis. For us the Mexicans it is very astonish, even very funny , find how the U.S. people get a huge surprise after travel around our country. U.S. have more extension than Mexico, but the culture is quite similar with exception of very specific region like Louisiana, where some people talk enven today an antique version of French. Mexico is megadiverse, with 68 different languages, un numerous variations of several of those languages with around 368 recognized variations, but it is very hard to affirm the exact number. Only the Maya have more than 12 variations. En Europe, the list of main languages are 23, with several dialects in some cases. The distance between Isla Mujeres to Ensenada by route, is similar than Cadiz in Spain to Moscow. If you travel around México you could find as many cultural diversity as if you travel around Europe. The U.S. people have in mind the worst version of Mexico. Yes, in some regions they a very violent way of living due to the drugs traffic, traffic certainly to U.S., but those regions are exactly near to the border of U.S.. Travel around Mexico implies be outside the hot regions and have some precautions, but it is very safe.
I have been living in Mexico for a few months now, building a camper combi to travel a bit, but when i speak to anybody about sleeping in a van and travelling the roads, they all tell me i am crazy to do this in mexico, that the roads are very dangerous, that they stop you on the roads, steal all you have and rape the women... quite discouraging for me to hear all this.. whats your opinion?
I am a Mexican and my favorite natural spot till date is the Sumidero Canyon, if you go during summer time you'll probably experience it with rain which will make your experience pretty epic!
Welcome everyone to México!!!!!....this its a little taste of an extensive universe of natural attractions in my country. Mexico is SOO big that you'd need ten more videos like this one to touch lightly on each Mexican state. Great video. Cheers from Baja California, México.
This is truth.

Thank you for putting into words what I had in mind.
