Gutian Warrior since when kurdistan is not part from iraq ? you built it by Iraqi money ! Your history from Mesopotamia ! Your erbil castle is assyrian ! You were living in mountains and you came down to live in this country as many people came to iraq ! This is not your area this is iraqi area ! We used to be great country but since the invasions and the trash governments which are brought by America and Iran , we are all affected ! Instead of standing with your people! Your are throwing hate speech about iraq and iraqi people? Why ? Iraq is not arabic country neither kurdish, assyrian , muslim, jewish , christian, ezidian and neither sabian ! Iraq is for all iraqi people and we are living from its bounties ! This is betrayal , treachery and effrontery to say that when your country is being weak and iraqi people are being killed ! This is so unfortunate shame on you and i know not all kurd like you i have many iraqi kurd friends .. they are real iraqi not like you !

Let's be honest. While technically you did go to Iraq, you actually limited yourself to Kurdistan which is reasonably safe and autonomous. During the American invasion not a single US soldier was killed there and it has long been very cosy with the West and even Israel. Obviously, the situation remains volatile because of remnants of ISIS, but it isn't like going to Mosul or Baghdad. As far as I know, even a visa is not needed for Iraqi Kurdistan. It's funny how a number of popular travel vloggers suddenly rushed there and boast about a visit to a warzone. it's not quite truth. In fact, Kurdistan was fairly safe to visit even during the US invasion when the rest of the country was plunged in violence.Otherwise, I did enjoy the video.

    • @falahati
      @falahati 4 года назад +15

Yeap, Kurdestan is pretty safe and peaceful. Considering that it is an independent "Kurdish" state it still has a neutral relationship with Iran, USA, Isreal, and relatively stable relationships with Turkey. Even in the middle of the war Kurdestan was safe and had a neutral relationship with everyone. It also has one of the most stable and organized armies in Iraq so it was never threatened by ISIS as much of other northern parts of Iraq. Going to Kurdestan is like going to Turkey or Iran. It is not a warzone. Many people still don't know that Iraq has some stable regions tho.

That was such a beautiful video Jacob and it's great to see you back on RUclips after a few months. For much of my life, whenever I had heard of or saw anything relating to Iraq, only one thing came to mind; war. It's unfortunate that that's the way I thought for so long but your journey across this country reminded me that while, yes, war has occurred here, that's not what this country should be recognized for. No country should stand out or be recognized for their wars or hardships because that's overlooking the general picture of what any place is about; culture, scenery, personalities and cuisines. Those elements are what really defines a country's history because those are things people are able to relate to. It's exciting to explore new avenues in the way of life. There are so many routes with different treasures that expose you to new things and adventures that captivate your imagination and propel you for years down the road.
The footage you captured was so extraordinary and it was so warming to see the people of Iraqi Kurdistan welcome you with open arms and show you what their way of life is all about. I was also blown away by the mountain regions you captured and the gorgeous mosque and temple, and of course that cave. I am so sad that Iraq had endured hardship and what you said regarding the tanks really struck a chord inside of me. It really is unfortunate that we have inventions such as tanks, which really do nothing but cause destruction. The world truly needs peace and you're doing your part in trying to make that happen. God bless you you legend and cannot wait to see where else life takes you this year and this decade.

Very interesting, Heart Touching and Educating.
    *DID YOU KNOW THAT?
*1.* The garden of Eden was in Iraq.
*2.* Mesopotamia which is now Iraq was the cradle of civilization!
*3.* Noah built the ark in Iraq.
*4.* The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.
*5.* Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!
*6.* Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor which is in Iraq.
*7.* Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.
*8.* Jonah preached in Nineveh, which is in Iraq.
*9.* Assyria which is in Iraq conquered the ten tribes of Israel.
*10.* Amos cried out in Iraq!
*11.* Babylon which is in Iraq destroyed Jerusalem.
*12.* Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!
*13.* The 3 Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq.
*14.* Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.
*15.* Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.
    *16.* Ezekiel preached in Iraq.
*17.* The wise men were from Iraq.
    *18.* Peter preached in Iraq.
*19.* The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon which was a city in Iraq!
*AND, DID YOU ALSO KNOW THAT?
Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq!
However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots. Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible. Here's why:
    👉Eden was in Iraq-Genesis 2:10-14
    👉Adam & Eve were created in Iraq-Genesis 2:7-8
👉Satan made his first recorded appearance in Iraq-Genesis 3:1-6
👉Nimrod established Babylon & Tower of Babel was built in Iraq-Genesis 10:8-97; 11:1-4
👉The confusion of the languages took place in Iraq-Genesis 11:5-11
    👉Abraham came from a city in Iraq-Genesis 11:31; Acts 7:2-4
    👉Isaac's bride came from Iraq-Genesis 24:3-4; 10
    👉Jacob spent 20 years in Iraq-Genesis 27:42-45; 31:38
👉The first world Empire was in Iraq-Daniel 1:1-2;2:36-38
👉The greatest revival in history was in a city in Iraq-Jonah 3
👉The events of the book of Esther took place in Iraq-Esther
👉The book of Nahum was a prophecy against a city in Iraq-Nahum
👉The book or Revelation has prophecies against Babylon, which was the old name for the nation of Iraq-Revelation 17 &18
No other nation, except Israel, that has more history and prophecy associated to it than Iraq.
    Thank The Bible Researchers!!!
