It's my second time in Iraqi Kurdistan, but the people and culture here continue to inspire me. In this vlog, I take you on a quick tour of the Qayseria Bazaar in Erbil (Hawler) to meet some of the awesome people who work here.
This vlog is dedicated to the memory of Bakir, the flute player featured in this vlog, who passed away since I filmed it.
I'm from Denmark and all the Kurds I met are wonderful people, would love to visit Kurdistan one day.

Ansab Ch yes there is an airport,there is actually two airports and another one is being build,you dont need to come to other parts of iraq first,you can immediately travel to erbil or slemany

Syrian Kurds were not allowed citizenship in Syria until 2012.
@@nagihangot6133 95% of Syrian Kurds have citizenship from long time, the rest 5% were gained it in 2012 after the revolution in Syria.

@@omegamufasa1625 yeah man absolutely. I was there from 2015 to 2017 and I'm back in the states now. Even though I've been here all my life, i still have a lot of love for Kurdistan. That place is beyond safe and the hospitality is insane. Almost a bit over the top at times 😂

As an Iraqi Kurdish, this vlog was amazing. You can find more breathtaking and amazing places in kurdistan specially in Erbil. If you want to visit a place when you don’t feel like a total stranger and if you want to go and speak with the people, well kurdistan is the best place. Simply because we kurdish are very friendly 😉

Thank you for this video, it brought tears to my eyes. I was born in Hawler however moved to the UK at the age of 11 early 2007. I've not gone back since 2010 and it's wonderful to see the development the city has undertaken. After watching this video, I think its time for a visit granted if Covid-19 gets any better.
