Today, Tom reviews the 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring model. The end of 2019 is approaching quickly and car dealers will be pushing to get rid of their 2019 inventory. Is this the best time to get a great deal on a 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid?

Unless I missed it, you didn’t mention the ventilated seats or the wireless cell phone charger compartment. Two great features! Great review. Thank you.

My 2019 Accord Hybrid Touring is slow, not sporty, gets about the same mileage as my standard 2013 Accord EX, and makes a strange noise at about 55 mph that the dealership says is my imagination. But other than that, it's a good, reliable car, that's almost as good as my older Accord for twice the cost.

Did you accidentally get the horsepower and torque backwards on the gas engine? LOL I'm just kidding with you and am sure it is hard not to make mistakes like that when filming and not notice. Another awesome video!!

LOL Yep! Those little mistakes happen from time to time. Unfortunately, I didn't catch it this time while Iw as filming. Thank you for watching and being a punk in pointing that out. LOL

You are very unlikely to see 48 MPG, according to every consumer site I've seen. My 35mpg city/hwy is a little low, but pretty typical. If you really need 48mpg from a Honda, you'll need to get a newer Accord - they appear to have worked out the kinks in the hybrid system by about '21 or '22

Honda scammed me with my 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid. They advertise 47mpg highway and city. I've had my Accord Hybrid for a year and the best I've ever got was 40mpg. Normally its around 38. I think there needs to be an investigation into this lie. Do not believe what they tell you.

I’ve found that you have to drive speed limit or less and use many of the braking features to achieve the 48mpg results. It can be done though.

Yeah no it’s definitely your driving habits, I get average of 45mpg and I normally drive under 70mph plus use the regenerative braking system to slow vehicle down and recharge batteries. You can’t drive it like a gas engine vehicle and expect 47mpg.

If I'm extremely gentle, and only do slow city driving below 50 mph, I can maintain about 42 mpg. If I'm driving normal highway speeds 60-70 for hours at a steady speed, I can approach 40mpg. Around Raleigh, I average between 36-38 mpg, 36 if I'm really aggressive, 38 if REALLY careful
