    Love the part about working the lockout on tricep extensions! When I was 19 I decided to do that and start light and only go up in weight slightly every couple weeks and yeah I never aggravated my elbows. I gained an inch on my arms and when my friends worked out with me they couldn’t even budge what I was doing with ease!

    I try to do very high reps with moderate weight, and using only up to 3 seconds to rest between reps. That seems to give me the most growth I've ever seen in my arms. Such as calves, I do 140 reps, with only up to 3 seconds of rest between to let the burn die down and then I continue this until I hit my target number. Biggest calves of my life lol. Tyvm for the informative video. I'll be utilizing what I learned here in just a bit when I'm headed to the gym. This came right on time. 💪💪🦵🦵

    hey matt i am of the opinion that even though the long head of the tricep is the biggest head of the tricep the long head is not active in bench pressing and shoulder pressing. Only the lateral and medial head.

    • @Grimmjow19872
      @Grimmjow19872 2 года назад

      True, you have to do over head exercises for the long head and train it heavy. 8-10 reps. The long head can handle a lot of weight

    Since we are on the arm training subject. I looked up on the internet " who invented California Press". Came up JM Blakely. As I understand JM was born in 1965. Well originally, I am from Poland and the thing is we were doing this exercise since 1968, and I remember very well that I yanked this exercise from some American publication at the time. So WTH.

    Matt common brother you don't even have any arm's...... Joking. 😂💪
    I gotta say I'm sick of hearing people saying big arms are pointless. They just look good. I believe big arms and bigger biceps act crucial in stability of bench Pressing. Especially at the bottom when creating that spring like effect between the tricep again the lats. When you have big Biceps you can also use them to leaver a spring effect with the forearm. Guys that trash having big arms in my opinion clearly wish that had big arms. Good tips brother. Your triceps and forearms have always been huge! Nothing like having 20"+ arms. 💪

    • @j.a.6866
      @j.a.6866 3 года назад +1

      Totally agree dude. I plateaued on bench and then I was told to focus on my biceps which threw me off. But I did (using a shit load of chins ups) and my bench went way up.
