  • So you know you have a lot on your plate when it comes to working out. Maybe you have children that take up most of your free time, maybe you just got out of school and you can't seem to find a moment to breathe while you work two internships. Or possibly you just don't have the money to afford anything more than your twice a week ramen diet. But, you want to train and you want to train in the best way for you. So Matt Wenning has you covered here, he is going to help you see what it's like to have an example for someone who is too busy in life and can't seem to find the time to train. While maximizing his training with this schedule Matt also realizes there are not perfect storms to get the best results, but they're maximized in helping the person get into much better physical health.
    So what's the secret to the sauce? Well, it's in the amount of time you can find to get yourself into the gym but it's even more so important to start eating clean and stop ingesting all that junk food. We want to all lose weight and feel better about ourselves but when you really hit the road with a workout plan you can't even begin to work in the right direction without eating cleaner and putting the proper fuel in your body to become the best you possible.
    Only once you have taken the time for yourself to consider all the stressors in your life and can you begin to segment and create your workouts to best fit you. Then you will achieve full power, you can take over the world, and maybe even start the process of stocking your fridge on a regular basis!!!

    "Perfect Workout": 1.Make sure you're not tired mentally and physically 2.Take a 10-30 minute nap (90 min. if you have the time for a full sleep cycle) if you're tired mentally 3.Eat something (more carbs if it's more intense workout) AND make sure your electrolytes are good (Check that sh*t out on Google I guarantee that might be your problem) 3.Make sure you are very well hydrated (But also avoid Hyponatremia, it's water intoxication that f*cks up the electrolytes) 4.Sodium Chloride (aka table salt) is an electrolyte, actually 2 MAJOR electrolytes that your body needs for proper muscle functioning. 5.Listen to music that makes you feel like a beast (or beastess IDK). So basically rest,drink,eat,drink, take electrolytes, NaCl (table salt if you're gonna do intense workouts). Also great video Matt btw lol.

    Matt,
    44yo Police Officer, family man, not a lot of time. Train using conjugate method.
    I’ve seen where people program dynamic/plyo stuff prior to main lifts and wonder if it would/could work the same with conjugate training?
    Looking to manage my time more effectively...

    • @Fitnessinformant
      @Fitnessinformant 4 года назад +1

      Yes you can or have it on different days from the information I’ve piece meal from Matt’s teachings. Day 1 Strength + repetitive + GPP. Day 2 Dynamic + repetitive + GPP repeat for a Day 3 & 4. Leaving me with ample rest and active recovery days or ability to reconfigure training days in case work and life get in the way. Works for me in a police tactical role, my roster, young family and mid 40’s.

    I work out in a small town gym and “half” the equipment in there is mine And in all honesty having the biggest bench squat and deadlift in that gym right now isn’t a real big accomplishment lol taking nothing away from the highschoolers and the other people that come in there but none of them train like I do and as far as bench goes I’ve always had a poverty bench beyond poverty that’s why I am probably one of the 1,000,000% a man who hate chest day and it’s sad that I have the most bench Especially now because I’ve been struggling just to hit 275 and my best is 305 I need a new gym that has people that can push me even harder then I push myself
    one day maybe
