So important! Listen to Matt Wenning! How many guys in their 40s have squatted 520x24. Takes very well thought out training and recovery to do that. This channel is a real gift to the strength training community.

Matt look at Ben Patrick on knee over toe exercises for knee… he’s rehabbing many people… mark bell is one of them… Tyreek Hill too . I used his program and it helped me. It’s definitely worth a look and testing. Matt for hip flexors , the old school locked feet sit up works well… look at Hershel walker , he had no hip Issues, because he did hundreds of sit-ups.

Lower back training is money for health and strength. Ever since adding in heavy back extensions my back has never felt better. And yet I get people in the gym telling me it’s dangerous. I say it’s dangerous not training your lower back.

Great video. Youve basically saved many gym bros from potential injurys and subsequent lost gains.
I try and do face pulls at the end of every workout. Not only did my rear delts grow but I have zero shoulder pain when doing heavy presses/dips etc.
Tip for those with longer arms: Instead of using one rope attachment, use two. You will really be able to externally rotate your shoulders properly and will FEEL it much more!

Never tried a Superman, but the Face Pull and Cuban press are staple exercises for me on my light active recovery days in the gym.
After I injured myself on the bench press, I deduced that a lack of stability in the shoulder girdle was the likely culprit. These two exercises, as well as benching with the bamboo bar, have been huge factors in allowing me to bench confidently and pain-free again.
Your information and wisdom has always been and continues to be top notch Matt.

Working on unassisted Nordics and some extra soleus work has definitely helped with strengthening the knee. As has doing front squats or goblet squats on a slant board/on plates to hit more depth
