These bunnies are so domesticated that they actually don't like going outside. They love when I bring them fresh picked grass and flowers, but they are really quite happy to be inside. If I open the side door for them they don't even go too close to it. As for the now 2 cats, they are both harness trained and go outside everyday. We also have a catio installed for them now. Great job on the composting toilet but I hope you'll consider swapping your peat moss for something more environmentally friendly (sawdust, soil, wood shavings etc.). Using peat releases around a million tonnes of CO2 every year. Not using it would also help end the destruction of our precious peat bogs and the loss of birds, plants and insects that rely on them.
Love how you have a toilet roll holder but the toilet roll is just standing on the wood next to the loo. Made me giggle. Beautiful bus. Thanks for sharing.
Totally agree about the peat moss. It is something we are changing. As environmentally aware as we are, the issue of peat moss was not something we knew about. We are glad to know more now! And yes, I am not sure why that roll wasn't on the holder lol

Most people aren't :) It was a necessary part of our build to make sure the bunnies were comfortable.

YAY travelling vegans. I wanna live in a BUS but it seems difficult in Canada to find a legal, semi-permanent place to park up. Wish it was legal to just buy land and park a bus on it and live on it. C'mon Canada!
You should try the uk , bein so slow and the fact that if anyone sees a family living different it could actually make local news papers fbook etc!!people here are so not understanding if you just want to live off grid,council are always chasing you for where you park , we know it’s all £££ my dream is to live this way but it would have to be much smaller to use daily as our roads here are just not welcoming unless you want to use motorways but u do that you miss all the beautiful scenery..

Logic? I've always wanted a HOME build to not to be attached to a vehicle, which has a lifespan. If only defined by the availability of parts to maintain it. But factor in costs and they've made a good point. In terms of disposable housing, you probably cannot beat a bus. It's likely cheaper than most new cars. Curious why bicycles are always stored on a rack outside? They're light, they can be hung from ceilings, or secured to bike racks or trees once parked. They don't leak oil or radiator fluid. The fold down hitch seems a bit wasteful. Could have just mounted/welded a couple loops to lock the bikes to when parked.
Quite a lot of judgment for someone that does not live in a school bus. 😆😒
@@kellystinydreamsbus But as someone who has ridden bicycles. And has lived in small spaces. In small spaces your real-estate for stuff is vertical. When every inch of every wall is a window or a door, your vertical options are limited. Which is why I don't live in a bus. Now a box van, maybe someday. If vehicle insurance wasn't commercial and starts at $5K+ a year.
Check the Rigidity of this school bus. Looks stronger than a RV. I would've picked the bus as well.

How much was everything to upgrade the bus.. I have 1986 holiday rambler 36” and wanting to remodel it so I didn’t have any idea how much it would cost ..

Can i just ask about the toilet area? You said about no room for a door , so what happens when the bus is in motion or your even stationary and need a poo 💩 seriously what do you do ? If you do a seriously smelly one ? You must drink the bud out I mean it’s unavoidable isn’t it? It’s unavoidable in our bungalow,I’m so curious as to how you manage it? I’d have to stop and use a hedge it’s that simple I just couldnt stink the bus out for everyone 😢😂

Or we just love our animals and sacrificed some space and storage in our tiny home to make sure there were as comfortable as possible. It is all about your perspective.
@@SoulfulBusLife we used to take our guinea pig with us everywhere! Camping trips, to weddings (yes!) and holidays away, where we stayed at B & Bs. Everyone was happy and we didn't spend time worrying about whether he was being looked after properly on our behalf. He was a wonderful guinea pig. You are either an animal person, or you're not. I know people thought we were kooky, but we know we gave him the best life possible. PS did I mention that I had a whole veggie patch for him, where I grew baby carrots, parsley and other delights?!!!

Nope! If you have animals and your house smells then you aren't cleaning and taking care of things very well. Our home doesn't smell because everything gets cleaned daily.

We actually both love animals. He brought a cat into the relationship and I brought a dog. Definitely just important to find someone who loves the same things as you.
