      Looks like you put a lot into it but you have to remember that no matter what you upgrade the inner workings of the bus is still regardless over 40 years old
      So sometimes when people restore really old Vehicles like this sometimes you're just better off buying something a little bit newer and upgraded even though the prices are really expensive and outrageous on some of the newer stuff you probably could have found a 1990 s model for a decent price and still would have been able to do similar upgrades with something that probably would have less wear and tear on it but I respect what you're trying to do I'm just saying a word of advice obviously you seem like a smart guy but I would just remind you that regardless of how many upgrades you do on the vehicle you have to remember the vehicle itself is still over 40 years old

      I've been in sales for a long time and what I see is you're basically putting out an advertisement because you're going to flip this bus and sell it and upgrade
      Tell me that I'm wrong? LOL
      Right this is a advertisement and you're going to sell this bus right?

      Seriously I hate wood all over a house, but this is gorgeous. He also did a lot of work to make it look so pretty, custom staining and picking nice wood and doing epoxy. I do woodworking as a hobby and the stuff he did to all that work takes a crap ton of time and work. Not to mention a lot of failures to get right lol

    • @Zankaroo
      @Zankaroo 2 года назад +2

      @@GlorifiedGremlin I think that is because most houses you see that are like 80%-90% wood interiors are really open and big increasing the amount of wood you see which can make it bit much no matter how beautiful. This bus is much smaller than a typical houses using similar woods and colors. While I love his build I do think I might have tried to use a bit more dark wood in some areas to contrast the light wood more. Not a lot but some.

    Nice build, I am a retired master carpenter, and for someone who has no training, 99% of what I seen is very awesome.. The only thing I would change or add rather, is some solar panels on the roof, it's basically free power, especially if that is your everyday (I live here) home.. A friend of mine has a weird wind torrent like thing, it isn't very big, he built it himself and he says for them long drives, that alone keeps every battery fully charged, He said he just took the idea from a homemade torrent and he uses 2 heavy duty alternators, he says the only time he can make power with it, is driving hwy speeds.. What comes through here isnt the bus in spite of all the hard work, its him. The gold is his positive, solid, can-do attitude and its fantastic to see. The bus is pffff the bus. Whats worth watching is him and im glad I happened by. Excellent.

    Now this is an impressive build! Hell, I truly only have two things I'd change: I would want a PC instead of an Xbox and I would like solar on the roof...ok, and the outside could do with some TLC (the engine - to me, who doesn't know much about engines - looks rusty!)...otherwise I am amazed! On any used vehicle, I recommend removing the spare tire to make sure it comes out. Then lube all the fasteners for it. I had a used van that blew a tire, and the spare tire that is suspended from a cable wouldn't drop. Luckily I had my multi-tool cutter and was able to cut it free. Won't make that mistake again.

      @@backyardbraaapn1017 Curious how you would come to that conclusion? Guessing that you're a man from the reference in your id to two stroke motorcycles. Do you regularly guess other males time to climax. I am a guy despite my name and I don't think i ever considered how long it takes for someone that i am not intimate with to climax. Seems like you're threatened by both his talent and his looks. To be honest , i would be too if he was giving my girl friend a " tour" and I wasn't invited. Not likely to happen to either one of us though. Find it strange that men are so threatened by women commenting on a man's looks but women rarely comment when men make sometimes totally inappropriate remarks.

      I actually got a commercial vehicle inspection (CVIP) done on the bus in 2019 in Alberta instead of a regular safety inspection. So the frame, brakes, engine, trans, wiring/basically everything else was all checked over with a fine toothed comb & she passed with flying colours. I will undercoat the bus one day but right now shes structurally safe & sound as is 🙂

    • @nllnll6119

      You are correct there! I mean.. I may be crazy but I think it’s fairly understandable that a 40+ year old vehicle has a little surface rust 🤷🏼‍♂️ @@nllnll6119

      @@ClintLewing you undercoat that bus and it will rust and you will lose it. I don’t know nothing about ranches and having stuff like that but there’s one thing I know I’m a mechanic a body man, a painter and I do very well at all of it .do your research. When a stone comes up from the road and you’re driving and it puts a chip in that undercoat moisture gets in behind it and it sits in that frame will rot out in a matter of two years it will be complete junk. They make oil based under coating that will allow it to breathe and stop the rust good luck.
