- The shuttle bus conversion of your dreams. This shuttle bus has that shabby-chic, cabin in the woods, curl up next to the fire at night kind of vibe. We had the pleasure of touring Carley's self converted shuttle bus and were absolutely blown away. Not only by the bus and conversion but by the builder herself. We love a good self-made inspiring story.
This 3400 El Dorado diesel shuttle bus conversion is complete with a full bathroom, full-size memory foam mattress, guest bed, living area, kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, and tons upon tons of storage. Carley also used mostly reclaimed materials throughout her build which is great for the charm and environment.

Is this the best build? No. But what makes me smile is that she built exactly what she wanted it to be, so in a way it is a best build. I always wonder watching these: How much did the build add to the character and personality of the builder? Who knows. but 13:58-14:40 was what I was waiting to hear. I wish more people would challenge themselves to sacrifice for a dream. On a side note, a lot of you are watching builds to live in, but, sometimes building something just to travel and vacation in is all you need. You don't have to add boondocking-galore-everything in your build. Just some simple shore power and water hookups and hit up campgrounds. I used to do travel in a built van and never stayed anywhere but campgrounds with toilets and showers, so easy and pretty cheap too. Carley you did great, hope to see your next build some day.

The music was way too loud in this video. Aside from that, it was a fantastic bus! Loved her personality and the bus was well put together too! Great kitchen space! The shower is awesome! Love the aesthetics and the big foot thing was great! The love and hard work she put into this shows in everything she's done throughout! Fantastic!

Best things about this bus:
1) the rustic design
2) the light and airiness
3) the great quality workmanship
4) probably the most efficient use of space of any of these designs I've seen

u r right i saw other normal sized buses or even bigger and it seems like it is smaller
10 out of 10 for me. The bus is excellently designed and built. Big roomy rustic look shower, lots of storage, cosy look and feel, all the comforts and a strong diesel engine to keep it all moving. 👌.

Big foot is ABSOLUTELY 100% REAL! Bad ass bus btw, I dig how you refer to it as "her" or "she" also, look into glass for that house door that's not breakable. Someone could smash that glass and just open the door. Pray it never happens, but I'm over protective, I notice thing like that🤦😂
I love how big her bathroom is and how it has two separate areas I want to incorporate that into my build when I begin 🥰
She is truly skilled, at her craft ! She bought a second life to many of her bus parts . . . truly comprehending the value, of recycling ! 🇺🇸😎

Love this one. I've seen shuttle busses (been on them, etc.) and often thought they would be great for a converstion. Carly is very creative and has an eye for design. Good for you Carly. Thanks for sharing!!!

Great tour! I’m usually not a fan of repurposed wood but this build makes it look classy, very impressed! I’m not obsessed with Big Foot but after seeing all the BF pieces I want to be 😆

Oh damn I don't know if it's my phone or what ,but the music needs to go. It's not bad music... I just can't hardly hear her talk because the music is so freaking loud LOL!

Probably my all time favorite conversation I've ever seen. I'm in love with this build. It is so me. Including the Bigfoot. I too am into sasquatch. Everything reclaimed is what I love. She's done a Beautiful job. It's absolutely perfect. Ohhhh how I wish I could afford to buy it. The dream mobile.

Shuttle buses are great because they are more square than a school bus and have nice windows. I look at my town's buses all the time. Their newer ones have a more snub nose.
Yes they are much more square. So nice for building it was such a pain working with the curve of our ceilings and they’re pretty square for a skoolie. I love hearing how people got into doing a build I think it makes them that much cooler.
This van is so beautifully decorated. I love the fact that almost everything is reclaimed

All around this has to be one of the nicest somewhat small buses that I've seen. Very welcoming. Definitely seems like it could be a full time home. Good job! Glad you found a profession / vocation out of it.
Love your reuse creativity. People where I live, would love your bus. We have remakedo center at the recycling center. Also...having had experience with the 'big guy'...I like your bold admitance to 'they do exist'.

She built it how she wanted and it turned out great, I absolutely love the antique theme throughout for everything. Gorgeous with a down to Earth personality, goals and a great smile. And she's into Bigfoot, I'm definitely in love lol

I think I really Iike this one over some of the really slick builds. I too love lots of storage and no apologies. It's so beautiful with the woods and not a lot of "stuff" hanging all over. The shower/toilet area is great with the sliding barn door over both.
I would actually enjoy spending a lot of time in this one.

Lovely home! Beautiful blending of warm rustic with industrial. I had only one issue - I could barely hear you over the music until you got to the bathroom and bedroom.
I had a hard time hearing her too. She did a super job on her “home”!
Super nice! Did you (or anyone with a bus conversion) have any trouble getting non-commercial insurance? Also, if any of you have batteries that can be seen from the outside, please consider putting a lock on them...chain, cable etc. I had 2 stolen last year & batteries have gotten more expensive with everything else. Happy Travels! 😊

One of the best conversion builds I've seen yet!! Everything is convenient without being crowded...a great layout. Absolutely LOVE the bigger shower and seperate compost toilet. The rustic features are also right up my alley. I think the only thing I might do different would be to install bigger freshwater/greywater tanks....possibly a more efficient heater. Other than that...this is one video I'm saving for a possible future conversion of my own!!
