I SO appreciate your comment about how long these builds take. It can be discouraging to watch videos where people somehow get it done in less than a year, and here I am still not done after almost 3 years. I have to tell you how incredibly helpful your series on building Ivan has been to me and my husband. We live in Alberta Canada and it was so helpful to see someone (who knows what they're doing) showing good ways to build a bus for cold weather. Your channel was sort of our gateway into building our own skoolie and you tremendously helped give us the confidence to keep going! We were watching your videos from the beginning of your series, step by step, we followed your lead and adapted many of your ideas for our own build especially when we were starting out. We bought our bus in February 2021, and started living full time in it at the beginning of this October 2023. (It's still not done, but livable) I just want to say thank you Mike, you have no idea how your videos have inspired others! I hope you are able to find the right buyer for Ivan.
We are just now seeing this comment. Do not let those channels discourage you. There are a lot of factors that go into building out a bus (how much time you have, how much money you have, weather, ect.). Those channels act like it's just that easy, but every situation is different. We know this first hand from our build. We have some friends from Alberta that are building one out too. You do what's best for you, safe travels to you.
To prevent waste of water when turning on hot water, you can install a diverter valve to put water back into the freshwater tank until the hot water comes.
@@navigationnowhere Hey Mike, would you be interested in a free bus? You already know this one well, it's Navi's twin. Still very low mileage. Let me know if interested.
Miss you Mike! We’ve com to enjoy spending time watching you videos and getting to know you. Hope to see more from you soon. Your bus builds are amazing but we’d be happy with watching highlights from any adventure you go on!!!
6 months to get the seats out, redo the floor and remove the heater on mine...1 year ago. Still building and working on it, but it was done-ish, so moved in and started living my life around it. No regrets, it's great when camping. I ❤ my Huckleberry 😊
@@navigationnowhere just uploaded a video from it, too! You can do anything you desire in life! I have found much serenity in the Buslife, at this point I have a comfortable affordable abode with only 2 bills to pay. That brings so much more to the table than the last 2 decades, I can park it and work on it for free just outside my studio that's included in my present position. And when I retire in a couple of years, I can go on an extended trip with everything set up to go camping, fishing and travel to see all the places I have wanted to for so many years, but couldn't in my career. Safe travels!
Thank you much for your leadership, craftmanship and your thoughtful approach. Just finished our bus after 5-years of weekend building. Started taking trips, 2-years ago, before it was done. Thank you, -C
Wow....of course I'm speechless! Been waiting for this day for 3 years. Beautiful job as always. I almost hate to see you part with it because it is so you. But that just means another built is coming in the future, and I can not wait to go on that journey with you! ❤
Mike....Mike....Mike. I miss your updates. I know, you keep busy. I hope you know, there are ways to set up cameras where you do your thing hands-free, and hopefully, you can, and will want, to hire an editor so you don't have to wait a year to get free time to edit and upload videos. So now you know. You are nissed. You are appreciated and loved as a valid member of the buslife and RUclips community. Also as a fellow human and Earthling. Happy New Year!
I’ve really enjoyed watching you build this right alongside my own short bus build (which isn’t done yet but im almost 3 years into it). Well done! Your excellent building has really helped me through a lot of tricky stuff! Thanks Mike!
Shoutout to the absolutey genius idea (and execution) of keeping all the water in that single location. Definitely going to add that to the list of concepts to keep in mind (like floor plan vs weight distribution)
Mike, I hope you are doing well. It has been a long time. After 1 year without posting I assume you are no longer recording videos for your channel. I’ve created a rule for myself that after 1 year of no post I unsubscribe from a channel. You’ve always been my #1 and I’m hoping more than anything you return and that you are safe & healthy.
It appears he only does videos on Patreon once a month. No free videos any longer. RUclips got him where he’s at, but he’s somehow chosen to thumb his nose at those people without so much as a word. He was once my favorite RUclipsr.
Outstanding! So glad I stuck around in the rotation to catch this one. You showed so many answers to questions I've been asking myself for several yrs now abt what's th e best way for what-goes-where - esp'ly that compact water system. A lot for me to unpack & think.abt over the winter! Much obliged! 😁
Nice to see Ivan complete. Beautiful bus! I enjoyed watching your videos during lockdown, and like the way you included friends, family, etc. I still check in on Navigation Nowhere, when I have a moment. Also glad you decided to keep Navi, which is another beautiful bus. Safe travels!
Ohh I love that we seen a finished bus. I watched this during a very crazy time in the world, it is crazy how long ago that feels. Thanks for showing us the finished product.
Beautiful build, but I have 2 concerns...first what about window coverings? At night you'll be on display 😮 and second but most important I didnt see a key lock for the door when you went outside...you pushed the two doors together with your hands. I hope there's a lock there and I just missed it!
Beautiful Build, My Goodness whom ever is fortunate enough to buy Navi you must know that this Bus is Top Notch,How could it Not Be with Mike and Crew, Plus Dale supervised so, C,'Mon Man,lol

IVAN is awesome. Bravo! Most excellent build. Well thought out. Wish I could move forward on this beauty. Have great luck with the sale. Take care and be well
I am sooooo inspired by people like you. I am ready to begin my journey in nature. I am currently documenting my journey on my channel. Thank you for sharing❤
It’s beautiful. I wish you could park it and stay in it at my place in Florida and help me with my tiny block house kitchen. Or stay in a guest room. I basically don’t have a kitchen for seven years. Just electrical and lights. It’s a couple blocks from the gulf coast beach. I have a vehicle you could drive around town. Happy Easter. Been away for a bit from watching.
Mike, It is a great build. It is missing an L.P. Oven & Fan Hood Vent Over The Burners & MicroWave, for what you are selling it for these 3 items do not cost much at all.
