I bought this little bus in 2020. My twins were heading off to college and I was quarantined from my family (ICU Nurse). Timing was perfect. This is a longtime dream of mine. My conversion took approx. 8 weeks, and I did every inch myself...It's a simple conversion but exactly what I wanted and all I need... I spend a lot of time in my bus as mentioned above. It's my space and much needed... Thank you for allowing me to share with you!

I love how homey your bus looks like. It's beautiful, comfortable and well conceived. The only thing I would add is a shower set up, which can be as simple as a hoolahoop and a shower curtain suspended by chain and magnets and a blow up kiddy pool. Just make sure you stop by a Lowes or home depot to get a pump sprayer, and voila, you have a shower. When not in use it can all slide under your bed.
Been getting so overwhelmed looking at peoples 20k builds this is super simple but also super functional, thank you for sharing this gave me an inspiration boost (:

Yes!!! Came to say the same thing, I got so discouraged watching all the 20k and up builds that’s definitely out of my price range but this was a perfect reminder what can be done and done well 😊 👏🏽

I really appreciate the minimal conversion! My family is thinking of converting a bus to use as a temporary home while we build our farm house, but most of the videos we’ve seen have involved fully gutting. So much character for very little “construction”! Will be stealing some of your ideas 😁
We have a habitat for humanity restore here and I’m planning on building mine completely from donated, cheap and free stuff. Lol repurposed and one man’s trash is another man’s treasure

I love it I believe in simplicity . Too many people spend thousands of dollars on spending for wooden cabinets and custom-made stuff I am not into that I want to do it as quick as possible and as simple as possible

Thank you. I am doing the same bus as of today. Way too late to help but the rubber eraser attachment from any auto store stripped 15 year old stickers pretty fast and easy.
I like a more minimalistic approach and you did a great job here. I plan on building out a startrans shuttle bus this year and you gave me ideas. Also,Ravens are my animal!!

Hi Melissa, I have to say thank you so much. Im about to find a way to buy a shuttle bus to transform in tiny home for me and my 2 kids to live in it as the rent increse of 46% is impossible to pay and all those videos of people doing it just discouraged me. They do massive build with thousand dollar tools I dont have along with the skills. You saved my day by showing me it doesnt need to all be rebuild to be nice. Thanks.

I have tried many different kinds of toilets and this one is my favorite i use a scoop of pine pellets that absorb any smells and wetness and i throw sack away after every use and this leaves no smell behind in my bus the others the smell would absorb into the plastic toilet even after a good cleaning it still had a bad smell

I think your bus is delightful! Perhaps quixotic, but it strikes me as perfect! Highly imaginative and very bohemiam. It is a warm, comfortable space to kick off you shoes and curl up to read with a cup of coffee or glass of tea. I love your kitchen; for such fanciful space, it is quite efficient.
I do have suggestions, like a Jackery power bank, just in case. My always suggestion is duct or gorilla tape, zip ties, rope, construction grade garbage bags, A shovel (are those people in the next camp bothering you?) 😄😂😄😂, scissors, sewing kit, and work gloves. You never know what emergency might crop up.
For the bus itself, might I recommend window screens to keep the bugs out? Maybe a couple of USB fans for ventilation, and my favorite: A canopy for the side of the bus. I've seen some really nice ones. One of my artist friends who did art fairs took a regular canopy tent and made a ceiling and drapes to give her tent an exotic, unique look. It was lovely! Kind of looked like it was part of a Romany camp.
I was wondering, how do you lock your bus? It is so beautiful, surely there are nefarious people looking to break in. I'd also want some kind of security system for it, as it is a work of art.
I love the openness of your bus; the way you've furnished it like a living room. The toilet is pretty brilliant too. I've used an emergency toilet a number of times (5 gallon bucket, garbage bags, adult diaper inside) and have been grateful for it. When you gotta go, you gotta go! I would consider a folding screen to put up for privacy when in use. But that's me. Your bus is a beautiful, quirky creation and it delights me! Love the Avon lady bag...I have one just like it.

I absolutely love your bus it's beautiful. I very recently lost my husband unexpectedly. We were planning on getting a motorhome or bus to travel. In fact we looked at a used motorhome the day he passed. Unfortunately our plans came to a end but I still plan on traveling. I will be taking my husband with me in my heart and memories. My husband wanted to get a motorhome with everything already done but I wanted a bus to build as we liked.
So I'm looking at a 4 window bus a little smaller then yours. I don't need anything big and I don't want to do a big build out. Watching your video seeing what all you have done without a big build has given me so many wonderful ideas. The short bus I'm looking at comes with the seats removed and it's partly converted but not my style. It's kind of a throw together mix match of old not so nice stuff but it does have a small 3 burning stove and AC that I will keep and that about it. I can't wait to get the bus and start working on it. I think it will help to have something to do and keep my mind busy on something other then my grief. At least that's what I'm hoping for. My bus will be my therapy...

This is a beautiful no build build. The only thing that I would have to have is an emergency bathroom. I would require a black out curtain, because no one needs to see the dark side of the moon. Lol.
I have a potty chair , tinted windows and a curtain...my moon is well covered!
