You can buy long narrow baskets & solve your slider issue. I have them in my cabinets & even in my tiny apartment size fridge... that way you can put everything you have in there in 2 baskets ( 1 on each side & jus' pull it out to get to what you need. 🥳 🎉... it was life changing for me. I jus took measurements of my space & googled/Amazon searched that size. Found ones that fit the space the best. 👍 VERY CUTE BUS. Love your stove. I was born in 73 but, thought I was a hippie in the 90s. Definitely NEVER let fear stop you. ❤ DO IT AFRAID! It'll pass! I always did life solo & I'm one of the strongest happiest at peace people I know.
I dig that you built this tailored for your style. It is cozy and you have everything you need. Hopefully you have some nice window panels you put up at night for heat retention and privacy. Stay safe and have the best life💚
For your slide kitchen drawer or compartment, if I were you, I would put everything on something as low as a cookie sheet with an edge and when you need something pull the whole cookie sheet out, let it all ride out together or build something that would slide out so you could utilize that depth better.😊
Cookie sheets!! Thank you. You’ve just given me a solution for my deep kitchen base cabinets that were so awkward for dragging things out of. I’ve used baskets and boxes and bins but now I’m going to try out cookie sheets.
Well done, young lady, well done!! I hit the road at 16, it was 1970, and what a wonderful world it was back then, especially as what today is called a Nomad. Spent most of my life in one of the house buses that I built, and what wonderful memories I have to enjoy in these golden years I find myself in. And I too carried my record collection along with me. I got to meet Towwns in Nashville back in the late 70s and bought this album from him, signed, and still spinning it today. The housebus is long gone to a lady in Wisconsin to be her bed and breakfast, and I moved to Canada and became grounded. Long may you run, and kudos on one of the most beautiful builds that I have ever seen.
I love the southwest feel of your bus. Actually I love everything about your bus. As someone else mentioned I hope you have window covers important for safety as well as privacy. Dog is cute. You go girl. Stay smart stay safe. God bless you.❤😊🙏🏻
Those bus doors gotta go, though...fear or no fear....common sense has to be in this whole equation of solo traveler... Get you a steel/metal door with no big windows in it to crawl through or break stick hand in to open... Make sure hinges of door is on the inside...
Something about the 70's decor just fits the bus perfectly! What a beautiful space and an inspiring woman. Add Beau the Bed Hog and really, it's perfection 🐶💕 (Vinyl LPs + turntable = 💖💗💝)
Beautiful Self Made Bus 🚌 Tiny Home on Wheels and Adorable Pup 🐶. This Young Woman did a Awesome Job on this Conversion. Loving the Colors and That Kitchen Counters. Blessings to be Safe on Her Journey and Thanks for Sharing, Enjoyed 🙏❤️🥰😇🐕 From Pennsylvania,USA
Your bus is so great. Fun dog companion; he knows how to drag his toys out. 😊 I like you. You have a good attitude. Stay safe and enjoy your life. :from a 74 year old Canadian. ❤
I just moved into my 5 window shuttle bus as a 68 year old Canadian. I'm learning a lot about all of the things that can go wrong. Like the propane heater, bus lights stopped working, new batteries draining too fast, not having enough solar panels, having to charge the batteries using a 60 lb generator that sits outside the bus, leaking shower head, solar powered back up camera needing to be manually charged in the Canadian winter. My dog and I spent a very cold night huddled under the duvet to keep warm because the diesel heater wouldn't start. I did not romanticize this at all but even I am surprised at having a hard time with all these challenges in my first week in the bus. Thank God for my brother who is mechanically minded who has helped me so so much. Like she says, keep your friends and family close.
Exactly! I was admiring the interior of this bus and could not decipher why it was so peaceful to gaze upon. When I read your comment, I realized that it truly is the rounded corners everywhere and the live edged (is that what it's called) slabs she found to enhance the calm "vibe."
@@njhart6236 Also, I was thinking of it from a safety perspective. It is a moving platform sometimes, and these arrangements do make movement somewhat constrained.
A great bus.. But also a Great Woman.. a developed and evolved Soul and Spirit. You can tell a lot about a person by what books they have and what music they like.. how they live. Wishing Sarah all the best of what life offers her.. If she was my kid, I would be very proud.
You are one artistic, wonderful woman who will inspire many other women! I am 76 and love everything about your build, and outlook on life! Enjoy every moment of every day! Sending you light, love, peace, joy and abundance always. I love you.
Beautiful young lady and what a great looking bus, I love the live edge woodwork and the kitchen cabinet is pure art, great design ❤❤ I understand the album collection, I have one myself and it's as comfortable as a cup of coffee, no matter what goes on in the world it's a solid place to be with your music
I love this bus. This is the best design and use of space I've seen up to now. I could see me being very comfortable living in it. Thank you for showing it to us.
Hey hey young woman! A work of art my dear. My background is in architectural space planning and I just want to say...I'm 70 and I couldn't have designed a more beautiful, efficient space. What a delighful inspiration. I think it's not a bad thing to have a little edge of fear ....as long as you use that energy to push you out of your comfort zone. You could be an inspirational speaker....Wished I'd known someone like you when I was your age. You go girl! Thanks! Keep your light shining bright..Blessings from Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Lovely home you have created for your precious dog Bo and you, Love how you have designed it & love your little work area how nice You are one smart Inspiring women , All the best for your future travels sending blessing for You and Bo .
That slider area that's under your counter that has a lot of depth just put in some kind of bins, like a spoon bin or a tray of some sort and you can put things on it and pull It forward, this way you're not always having to take everything out or reach behind it so deep. Your bus is quite elegant! ❤
What a warm and welcoming video. Your pleasant demeanor makes for a very enjoyable viewing experience! Best wishes for many wonderful and safe travel adventures! 😎🚌👍
Creating community on the road is essential! It’s as important as deciding where to go… who you connect with makes all the difference! Beautiful build! ✌🏼🚐✨✨
I love this gal!! A fun build! She has exactly what she needs to enjoy a lovely lifestyle. It’s a big thing to drive and park, but if you find a really good parking place, it’s golden!! (I’d find flat bins to put in those two little slider openings under the counter.)
Well-done! You are amazing!!!! This is undoubtedly one of the best bus buildouts I have ever seen. I love the earthy, southwest vibes. Kudos to you!!!!!! 😊
That is a great build! I would love to live that kinda life and yes fear can hold you back but if it's important then we will find a way. Best of luck and thanks for sharing
I like the way she took the bus out for a year before building out the inside. Even knowing the secrets of off-grid before starting, even with having had experience off-grid, she still took the bus out to Arizona to live in it for a year to feel the space. An artist? A true cabinetmaker? Maybe she was saving for that countertop. I like the tip of where to go to find them, but we pay more than she paid for the bus for slabs like that.
Probably this has been suggested, but your undercounter storage space would be much easier to use if you could find a pair of sliding baskets (sliding on mounted rails. The potential difficulty would be finding something with the correct dimensions. Since you are handy with tools, you could do custom baskets using store-bought sliders. That would be more of a project. Either way, such an arrangement would transform your use of that storage space and simplify your food preparation. Good luck with your lovely custom home.
I absolutely love your bus and your jewelry pieces! If the Mt Olympus ring is still available after payday i am so getting it. So glad found your Vlog I had been watching video after video trying to get ideas and avoid costly mistakes. 🙂
Love you bus build!! It's my dream. I need about 1800 watts of Solar Power cause i use a lot of power. I work from home, get a Starlink internet, but your bus looks amazing. So proud of you🐾🐾
This must be one of the best buses I've ever seen on here... She's done an incredible job, the bus/ home is stunning!!
She's gonna bring us with her i believe.

The most beautiful bus building i’ve seen so far. Very bight, minimal and cozy.

As a child of the 60s and 70s I immediately recognized the 1970s stove 😅
Yeah....far out man....peace on....

She's a true old soul! Love the bus!
Bus gave me Partridge Family vibes.
Rounded corners! FINALLY! Bravo!

Wish we could still buy that kind of quality appliance today.
My avocado green appliances were over 40 years old and still working great when I sold the house.
She did.
She and her bus got swag! Awesome build!
I'm showing my age, but I'm getting an adorable Fred Flintstone vibe from this bus, and I mean that in the nicest way!

Love your bus! Never felt or seen a build that REALLY makes you feel like your home! WOW!!!!!!!!
That stove! 💚
Your jewelry is gorgeous.great lifestyle. You are so lucky.
Great work, this one of the best designs I have seen, your balance between aesthetics and functionality is terrific.👍
This is so well organized and I love the wood throughout. The stove had me fooled. I thought it was real. It looks great. You go, Girl.
you can get a slider put in so that the slider cubby can slide out like a dresser drawer. Cute bus.🫶🏾
This is so incredibly beautiful! I get a southwest vibe from it, especially the organic shapes of the cupboards and the nichos.😍

Outstanding design and craftswomanship! I'm truly impressed with your creative use of space. Most importantly, I love your dog.

a flip up or slide out portion in her counter top could help . a lazy susan inside it too with help her from having to pull everything out each time
