Great job...so nice and we'll thought out..the money doesn't matter...it's all the family time you have now..that's priceless
Exactly
Wow! 40 feet long. I was looking at it saying I never saw such a long bus. it's absolutely beautiful! I don't know how they got anything done with 2 babies and keeping eyes on the dogs. Wonderful family.
Such a beautiful little family. Love their home.
Probably my favourite Skoolie conversion in terms of not just aesthetics but also how they managed to fit so many features in (a big freezer and a washing machine are rare finds in skoolies).
It’s very impressive how this couple prioritizes their children and the whole bus is so kid-friendly. I love how it seems like every extra space is utilized by adding book shelves.
I love this! The white definitely sets up a more homey feel, especially with the natural wood look. It'll make any future transition to ground living much easier on the kiddos! Perfect! All of it focused on 'homey' and 'practical', not flashy or showy! Cheers to the family!
Love this bus. It's functional and homely while still being stylish. And I love all the considerations they've made for the little people.
You young adults blaze a much needed area of living that is contributing to society's health!Gods speed!
I really love their bus. It’s one of the best bills I have seen on utube
the layout is fantastic! love how they say they're always changing things in the bus thats really how it is with homes!
I really like the imperfect style of the bus outside ... it's done with love and children !!
It all looks good! Well done!
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME 🎉
Beautiful and very comfy
I loved to see so many physical books for the kids to read. ❤ A lost art! Everything is now on tablets or Audio Books. Kids need pages to turn! It makes a difference!👍
I LOVE THIS BUS! It's so bright with natural light, and all the plain wood makes it so comfy feeling. This bus is definitely a HOME. I kept saving this video, somehow knowing I needed to watch it at just the right time. They are a blessed family.
🌟🌼✌🏻🧡😽🙏
Love what you have done to your Bus / Home. Looks very cozy and liveable.Your kids are beautiful.Good luck with your travels and be safe.😊
Your bus is beautiful and so cozy looking inside. What a wonderful life and way of learning for your children, who are both absolutely adorable by the way. Great job!
Nice Bus 💚
Amazing job .... The kids are so lucky .
Safe travels 🙏🏾
Maybe they can use the heavy duty stapler to attach the cushion covers more securely ..
I love that color ..
Me too. I can appreciate easy clean up... but sitting on vinyl upholstery is hell on earth
What a pleasure your family and home are. Ty for sharing with us!
Beautiful very cozy and comfortable 💞
When we got bored with the mountain view, with this cool bus we can drive to the beach view. Awesome. Beautiful.🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
That's the nicest kitchen I've ever seen in a bus! Congrats and great job! ~Lynette
i really appreciate his honesty
Beautiful family and beautiful build
Brilliant!
Just like been home! BEAUTIFUL and cozy! From Venezuela, South America! 💛💙♥️🇻🇪
Adorable family! Brave too! ❤️
That was, in the words of another, B.E.A.utiful. You are both great parents. Good luck to all of you. I loved everything about this.
Yeah you would be surprised how many people disapprove of people living like gypsys like that though.
@@AnnaLVajda prejudiced people whose opinions matter not. Thank God they're headed the way of the dinosaurs🦕
Love the kitchen layout. Happiness and togetherness is key here. Thank you!
Very cool bus! I'm sure it brings the family closer physically yes, but also emotionally, very healthy for the kids. Dustin looks similar to another youtuber. Dovydas is a street musician, he's originally from Lithuania and now lives in Sarasota, FL. Safe travels to you all.
What a great video. One word...MAGNIFICENT. Cheers.
A charming family and a nice mobile home ! 🌷🙏
Awesome home. Great job
This home is beautiful and look so homey and I love how so much thought went into in the build. The kids look so happy!
Nice comment Tammy , how are you doing?
Just don't move the bus backward, you can kill all your family down the hill. 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
Beautiful. Freedom. This is our dream we live in 40 ft RV not roadworthy it's in a RV resort. We are look for bus. This is awesome. Thanks for share. We take bits from many builds and I will build a beauty
Beautiful couple..Keep up the good work..
Nice job!! Love the way you decorated!! ❤️❤️❤️ nice looking family. Good vibes coming your way!!
OMG that crib on top looks so cozy! Mazin(Not sure on spelling) probably loves that it’s like a warm little fort! ❤️❤️❤️
What a sweet, homey bus! I especially love the kitchen and that gorgeous sink!
Well, for a novice, I must say you guys did a terrific job here, I love what you did! I'm impressed! I think they call this thing you have.. Wisdom 👍😁 Nice family btw, love your doggie too 😊 Keep up the good work 👏
Great video and lovely people living their lives. Thanks
I absolutely love the kitchen and the colors you choose. 💕❤️🌹🥰😘👍
Love Montessori! You can 100% tell the difference between Montessori and non Montessori kids. They are more capable self-assured confident and independent. ❤✌
Very nice! Bless your family!🥰
Oh my god it is awesome.. I love it... Congratulations you two on a job well done...
Well done, very functional design. Happy Trails 👣 🙂
🤔 since you like those colors already,it would be awesome to paint it exactly like T.Cs chopper on Magnum P.I !💪
beautiful family!!
It’s so nice and cozy
Great work. Love the work you are doing.
I'll bet your kids are so happy 😊
So beautiful
Love the bus! But I keep thinking about when they get big. God speed!
whoa I'm in Toledo Ohio and have been dreaming of doing this myself
I'd be afraid something mechanical would go wrong with the bus out in the middle of nowhere and far from a mechanic who knows how to fix them. We had an older class A RV that every time we went even 5 miles from home, something expensive was sure to break. I think the mechanical aspect is the one big elephant in the drawing room that is rarely covered in these RV videos.
Hell ya they spend at least 20k a year just to keep it running
100% agree. How would you even tow this? Repairs are costly. However if you can just mainly park this somewhere that would be great.
@ENUFF! don't let the internet fool u
@@exclusivenews734 The channel host is NOT the schoolie owner, Dolt.
These buses area made to run for a long time without breakdown. They are made to carry children back and forth to school 5 days a week if the buses broke down easily it would cost the school system loads of money. Not saying they won't ever breakdown but they are made to run safely and not breakdown with children in them. Getting 500,000 miles out of a school bus is just getting broke in, it will go another 500,000 miles. The trick to keeping these buses from breakdown is maintenence keeping the fluids changed regularly.
Also any place that works on diesel motors can work on a school bus. So there is plenty of places that work on these buses at reasonable prices.
Most tow companies can tow a big bus but it will cost more money because of the size of the bus it will take a heavy duty tow truck to tow the bus. So your looking at 300 to 500 tow bill that's just for starters.
Converting a school bus is much safer and last a lot longer then a RV that cost lots of money. School buses are built to last a long time bus conversion is much better then buying a RV which isn't built to last RV fall apart easily, thats my opinion.
Beautiful family
These buses are pretty sturdy but I would not want to deal with the maintenance and fuel. As a stationary home it can be quite cool, it can be a cute kitchen.
maintenance and fuel... or property taxes, water/electricity bills, local taxes, mortgages, home insurance, hurricane insurance, the list goes on. I'll take the bus. Cute kitchen though for sure😁
@@18.1Productions I do always wonder... These people HAVE to have a home base. You have to have a physical address for ID, DL, even a PO Box. You can never be TRULY nomadic, Uncle Sam will find a way to make sure you're not. These guys are young enough they can use a parents' address.
@@lapislazarus8899 right? It seems like a mysterious world to me. Maybe they don’t? Anyone with experience have an answer?
@@lapislazarus8899 It was the “Uncle Sam will not allow It” for me. 👆🏽
FANTASTIC
Hope like heck that when they mention the jeep they mean they travel with the kids and spouse (more) safely into appropriate seating!!!!
Awesome!
Beautiful video from Fiji lsland Labasa
wow so many of those books are giving me flashbacks to my childhood, "we're going on a bear hunt"
Looking good. I would make those batteries a bit safer. They need to be packed snug and secured, wiring needs to be clean with no chance of shorting.
It's many young people's dream but base upon where stationed on this video it's about to roll off the cliff.
Buslife! 2 years for me
That's going to be pretty claustrophobic by the time those kids get to be teenagers wow
Great job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖
Really nice
Great job !
definitely a throwback to the 70's...them and the bus....Cool though.
Great job, awesome.
I love this
Great job 👍
5:45 The bus look scary when parking there.. Almost get down
That's awesome, I've thinking of doing this, but I'm 6 foot and for me it's gona be hard to find something that fits my hight
Super
Very Nice 👍
Oh yes I remember I remember my brother getting Schwinn bike and I described it to him the time he got it he is how could you remember that you were just three but I could still see it to this day I could tell you what part of the yard standing at and there was time for he used to have a paper route and I used to help him or I thought I was helping him I stand in there giving him the twine and yeah they'll remember 😃❤️
Why was the look at the bus’ fuze panel edited out? (around 2:50)
Definitely a humble couple raising a wonderful family. I like that.
Trust me, they will remember certain moments :) i have memories from when i was 4
I hit my toe on a shelf, but it didnt hurt because the shelf was montessori style, I looked in the mirror and at the tender age of 5, made some cute faces and inmediately realized then it was the perfect intstagram story
Hi yall - great looking bus. Thanks for sharing. I just put 4 solar panels on our roof using unistrut rails. I'm trying to decide if I need wind deflectors for the front/sides of the panels. How did yall assess this aspects of your solar install? Thanks. -Anand
It is beautiful, but few of us are professional drivers, so I wouldn't want to have to turn on congested corners in cities.
Great bus but why do you have it close to a cliff right outside the door with small children? 🤔 Sorry I am just concerned.
Kids are expensive?
grrrrrreat bus!!
🤘😎🤘
Why are they parked on the edge. I can't focus thinking it will fall any minute now
Love
I’m going to build a bus home in a couple of years I’m going through videos collecting ideas like infinity stones
Would make a great tiny home permanently parked somewhere.
Nice comment Jean ,how are you doing?
should’n a 40 feet long Bus have at least 3 axles? I would not want to drive this thing with only 2 axles. If there is a flat, the Bus is really on the ground and it is hard to change a tire on such a big vehicle. Also it would ride smoother with 6 wheels. Just my observation.
I feel the whole RV bus thing is really cool but what happens when it's a really bad tornado Twista? 🌪 all of those RVs and tiny houses are going to fly from the air like The Wizard of Oz
Nothing in life comes without risk 🤷🏼♀️
@@lapislazarus8899 risk is one thing but life and death is another. Your RV is literally sitting on the edge of a cliff😶
Got news for you, many older people are thinking about living in these.
I'm a big fan of tiny homes and the whole small space movement...But I must admit, I feel like this family really does need a bit more room (if only for the sake of the kids). I can tell the mom is very tired and frustrated, as too many concessions have been made. Maybe they should settle into a gooseneck tiny home and resume the road adventures when the kids are older? Maybe (if they can afford it) have a separate camper van for trips?
I see a lot of fire hazards and hard-to-clean surfaces, cramped conditions for the kids, an insufficient fridge, a need for a dishwasher and improved washer-dryer, etcetera.
This would be cool for a young, scrappy, childless couple, but it doesn't seem like a good fit for this growing family's needs.
so,, total cost is around 40k~50k USD??
Way cool
You need to get a diesel heater for your bus.
Old expensive repairs is no ones dream. Replace this with 2015 bus and perhaps maybe.
