I love these videos -- but they make me terribly wistful. I don't think I've wasted my life, but I realize I could have done a lot more with it. So glad you have introduced your children to adventure.
She was super fun to listen to! What a cool person she seems to be, just so open and honest!! Love the bus and all they've done, but she honestly is the best part of the build lol! Loved her! -PJ
I’ve lived in vehicles ( horse drawn wagons, buses, trailers , trucks etc) since mid eighties in the chill British climate. A tip for banking up burners to stay in overnight I find is to get some damp leaf mulch or moss and cover over your loaded fire before you go to bed. That will cause your fire to smoulder through the night and still be live in the morning and easy to catch again with a little dry tinder . Make sure you have a CO2 detector onboard and keep your stack pipe clear of residue too though ( of course) crazy now but good to see living vehicle life become a thing in 2019 when us “new age travellers” were considered scandalous and absolutely personas non grata back in the 80s/90s!!! Happy travels
Hi Claud Ward. I’m having a bit of trouble understanding what you mean about the damp leaf mulch suggestion Claud. Also the CO2 detector you mentioned was a good idea , although i thought it should of had a shout out as to where the detector should be mounted , because of it’s heaviness in comparison to air , people feel the ideal spot should be in a low lying position close to the initial fireplace/fire. You sound to me , to be a person of a mature age that has been there , done that situation type of person. I must say in the 2 year’s that has passed us by since you wrote your comment Claud , you have done yet more travelling & accrued many other life experiences to which i take my hat off to you for that & kudos to ya. I agree with you also about the Year’s of 80’s & 90’s respectively as they were great times. Being a late 50’s child i enjoyed growing up , being part of the hippie day’s & year’s , love conquers all approach to everything ( yeh man , piece man ) , & those types of sayings Claud , lol’s. Well anyway i hope this reply finds you well , i wish you the best , take care enjoy life like it sounds like you’re doing already , who knows we might on our travels one day lol’s , highly unlikely though just thought I’d chuck it in , lol’s. I am IMPRESSED. My mind is almost set on living like this for the remainder of time I am on this planet. I am 60, debt less and just me. No pet’s, no kid’s & no drama. I am court ordered to vacate. Landlord tried to steal $900.00 until I found the receipt & the battle began. ( Started last July, I Won.) I will sell everything but keep very little that I will need. I need to get out of this mental Rut.
The emergency door out of the bathroom is a really unique feature. Seems like it would make access from the outside feel comfy -- for outdoor living, too.
Thank you both for sharing your home. I love, love, love, how organized your wife is and you have a beautiful home! God bless you both and safe travels.
This is the Best use of space I have seen. She really knows all about the the bus. I could listen to her all day! They complement each other! Beautiful bus!
Such a nice woman - this schooly and the stories she tells about the building adventures are very informative , she talks in a way I never get tired to listen ... From Germany with love !! 🌹
Very nice build! Love the wood stove and it is so organized. I have lived full time now for over 2 years in my 25 foot class A Winnebago warrior with my little dog Tinkerbell. I decided I wanted to get out and live really live after I beat kidney cancer I decided to live like this. IM 59 started when I was 57. I have traveled over 30,000 miles and traveled through 8 states filming as I go. I film all kinds of stuff but my favorite is the creepy and the abandoned. Love the way you did the bunks and the bathroom. You are very talented. Love the copper pipes! Great video! I can relate on the quick showers. I use a lot of baby wipes!
Even though its unfinished, it the most beautiful convertion I've seen so far. Hope the family are keeping themselves safe and living well during the day this time xx
Awesome 👍 job‼️ Building a conversion is a huge endeavor and requires a lot of creativity ‼️ I really respect and admire all people who accomplish these beautiful homes on wheels ‼️
What a nice spacious-looking build! I love her measure stick. She could market these. Such clever people that seem well-able to make their skoolie experience really work!
This is the 1st parents I've seen, since watching hundreds of couples custom build their home on wheels, that builds their children's beds long to fit them in case the family decides to live long term in their RV'S/Stoolies.
First I have to Say:. "Y'all are Great Fun, Good People, & YOU Mrs. are a HOOT"😄 You R so adorably honest & whimsical; & I thoroughly enjoyed hearing you both explain your Tour & Experiences; Ty for the great many Tips 🎉🏆 BTW: I love the Raw Wood Tones🏆. Lastly, No one thinks Highly of People who Knowingly Pay More, when they can get it elsewhere Cheaper😊 THATS just unfortunate, but for you, You are Wise👍👍. Many Blessings to you & your Family;. Enjoy your Adventures Together💞 You've Got a Very Beautiful HOME🤗
Your brut honesty is so refreshing to see. I really enjoyed your home tour. You did an excellent job & I do like your layout. It’s nice to hear about things that you openly talk about wishing you had done differently. It helps a person wanting to get into this life style decide what direction to go. Thanks 🤷♀️👋👍🏼
Absolutely love the exposed copper plumbing for the shower but especially the curtain rods, I will be incorporating that into my build along with custom made curtains. If you ever get the chance get some olive wood for your stove it has a fair amount oil in it and very easy to lite, puts off a lot of heat burns for a long time and leaves very little ash but probably best of all it smells like incense I promise you will love the aroma it leaves.
This is the first time I've watched an hour long vid about a skoolie, or any tiny for that matter! Lots of great info and tips. Separate tours are a great touch!
If you find the windows to cold, you can cover them with bubble wrap, that cuts down on a cold draft. Your home is beautiful. Take care and God bless, coming to you from Newfoundland, Canada.🇨🇦💜
I live in California, and I have been watching a lot of videos on how to live in your Van, and what people do with such small living space is amazing, however what you have done is spectacular !!
What a cool tiny home, the video was so informative. They have everything they need in a home, but can pick up and move to travel, what an education for the kids. They will have great memories. All the best to the family!

Home schooling can be one of the greatest adventures that children and parents share. Adding the ability to visit interesting and fun locations is a super bonus. Best wishes to this awesome family and they're beautiful home on wheels.👍🙏
I'm glad daughter Ren got to keep Big Bear! What a wonderful build. I like a large enough space that doesn't require upper cabinets. I love lots of windows for light and views of nature. If possible, I'd want to put in the extra long twin beds so they never need to be switched out.
When I went to truck driving school, training in a cabover, the old timer instructor said to aim your right foot down the oil stripe in the road to orient in the lane. I told an aquaintence that and he said it really improved his confidence in his motor home.
Nice build for sure. I love how you used materials at hand and didn't have to break the bank doing it. After all, it's supposed to be fun. Getting around to finishing it is the hard part, but actually using it might teach you what it is that you might need, moving forward. The kids won't much care because they are living the dream and seeing the sights. What child could ask for more. The memories are what they will take from this experience, and rightfully so. Family is everything. Cheers from Canada!
Wow!! The memories that you and your family are making is great. I wish that I was as brave and adventurous as you guys are. Enjoy your family before you know it your daughters will grow up and start their own adventures.
Sand the cold water knob slightly, then paint it with blue acrylic craft paint ($2 or less) then seal it with spray acrylic to make last longer. Even let it dry between coats to make it last longer.😊 Nice design.👍💕❤️💗😊

Hello from Millville New Jersey! I just wanted to say that you guys have an amazing home that you have made for yourselves actually it's awesome. I have been checking out a lot of schoolies and yours is up there in one of the best that I've seen thus far. Good luck in your future endeavors and May God Continue to Bless you and your family Always. 👍
I felt the same way! A wonderful presentation. Warm, friendly, informative and moved along at a perfect pace. This retired sixth grade teacher would give you both an A++. I suspect you would earn the same grade in a parenting class. Enjoy your children and the life you have chosen... for this time in your lives.

Lovely. Very detailed. I loved how homely and normal and practical this design was. She’s a good homemaker.
There’s nothing beautiful than enjoying the outside with fresh air.
Agree!
Probably the most beautiful tiny house/bus I've ever seen!!!!
The emergency door out of the bathroom is a really unique feature. Seems like it would make access from the outside feel comfy -- for outdoor living, too.
Yeah, but no bathroom sink! Not sanitary .
Thank you both for sharing your home. I love, love, love, how organized your wife is and you have a beautiful home! God bless you both and safe travels.

This is by far one of the best buses I have seen. Great energy.
This is sooo... beautiful; well planned and spacious. Great job indeed! I LOVE IT.
This is one of the nicest ones I’ve seen. Looks spacious but still generous counters and seating. Seems like such a balance to try to have. Beautiful
Love this because of the light and windows! You all did great!

I really enjoyed this build . I enjoy listening n the bus is absolutely beautiful Safe Travels Always God Bless and God Speed ❤️
