    Wow, we made a movie!
Thanks for taking the time to check it out.
For those that think it's too long, I have an idea for you: Put it on a loop, let it play 16 times a day, and Bam! A free screensaver! 😘

And what a great movie you made. I think we all knew how resourceful you are from your channel, but this displays your skills way more then anything you've done. So glad Chris let you go for as long as you wanted. You couldn't have gotten this all in without a full length movie. Another great job Dean, without having to do all the editing yourself!

OH MY .. I loved to see ur top deck w/toolboxes !!!. I bought a 5th wheeler frame ( was extra big RV) . its a 27 ft'r I was only looking for something w/18 to 20 ft. when I ran across it. was like wow the 5th wheel top is an extra 7 ft. my plan already in my head ( I think anyway ) I said GREAT it will be my porch area. I will get tool boxes for storage and have great seating... When I saw your boxes, I said hey!!! he got my idea. neat.. AWESOME SKOOLIE ( by the way )..... plan and think.... I've wore out a many erasers, youtubed a million videos of skoolies, tiny houses , box trucks. had no clue which to pick figured I know it when I saw It. Then I did. I cant wait to start my build. had it 2 or 3 weeks now IT WON"T STOP RAINING I mean POURING. so watching more videos and wearing out more erasers. boy I got a million ???

    hi Dean,
usually I write a Novel when I comment.
But, all I can say, as others have, is WOW.
I live in a (set up in a RV Park/$745+ a MO!!!!!)) 30' 1990 Fleetwood RV/Travel Trailer that, despite a 3 mo remodel (which did come out nice), isn't anywhere near as cool as your "Mobile Home".
Such a well thought out and brilliant of a job designing and building.
    All Kudos to you.
    Stay safe & warm.
    cheers

I have seen how someone used the refrigerator set to freezer, thus being able to make ice and then using a cooler for food and drinks. Always having ice you don't need to buy it and you have both. Great job! You have inspired me to possibly do a skoolie when I retire.

Dean, your School bus home is lovely! You can put a wire rack on the inside of the sink door for some light kitchen supplies, dish towels, food wraps, sponges, etc.

great video and an excellent practical layout plan and fit out, beautiful ceiling boarding
. Like you say its all been done before and early campervans were refined over many years to be the most practical layouts possible in a small space so there is little point in re-inventing the wheel . Best design solution is to do exactly what you did and sit down and think about how you would use the space in everyday useage.
Many folk give way too much space to the kitchen area where you might spend 1/2 to 1 hour a day whereas you could be sitting in the bus,(maybe out of the rain, ) for up to 12 hours of a day ! You need to prioritize space according to how much time you spend in that space and how comfortable you want to be.
Always try to use a space for more than one purpose if possible to maximise the space you have especially if its a small bus or campervan.
Apologies for the hyjack buddy but I liked your approach and as an Architect it infuriates me how some folk are clueless about designing a practical tiny home solution and end up with an awful lounge/ sitting area where (,aside from the bedroom) , you can spend the most time when in the bus

Wow! You covered so many details that I have heard never covered, i.e. weight of top composting toilet to empty, condensation on linens if beds are level with windows, MaxAir vs Fantastic fan, quietness of mini split vs RV air conditioner, etc. These are tips which have me rethinking some items i had thought would be ideal. I love your bus and did an excellent job on construction.

This is legit the perfect build for me personally. I love the separate shower and bathroom. The only thing I’d change to accommodate myself is I’d definitely route the urine into a black water tank and do a small roof raise for the shower. But in the end that’s like if I really, really wanted too. This bus is just beautiful and really perfectly built.

I have an RV so wouldn't be doing a conversion, but I'm still interested in what's being done out there.
This is the nicest most well thought out build I have seen. To each their own, and I get the whatever works for you, but just like this guy, I wouldn't have a "home" without a usable shower. I get the need for a wet bath because of space. Had one in the boat but if you have the space to separate the shower and toilet room that would be the best way to go. (Opinion again of course). Well thought out heat and AC. It also looks like he thought out his weight distribution as well. Some of these people build heavy on one side for aesthetics but that's bad for tires and suspension. Someone was explaining their weight and said "there was 76 seats and it held 76 kids" so he wasn't worried. Yeah, but that wasn't all on one side.
Kudos to Dean on an exceptional conversion that seems to do it all!
