I just bought 3 of these today. Set 2 up so far. I'm blown away by the tracking. It helps to buy the separate motion sensors to start triggering these cameras to record when a subject is further away.
I have 6 Eufy Cameras, as well as 3 retro fit smart locks and love them all . I will agree that the S340 Solocam is their best battery operated Solar offering. I agree with the solar collection statements in this review. I usually fall from 100% to 78% in the winter, but with this cam, and during overcast days, the battery has stayed at 100%. Truly amazing Solar Panel collection capability. Do you already have this camera, if so, what is your experience of cloudy days? I am not satisfied just added my comment which you can read at the top.
I bought one of these during the Black Friday sale along with the dual video doorbell. I really like the doorbell, and i like the E340 a lot of the time, but i am having issues with it sensing people some of the time. I have it mounted 8-1/2 feet up, facing our driveway. It will pick up people on the sidewalk in front of the house. It will pick us up coming from the side of the house toward our cars. But it wont pick us up coming out of the car until we are about 4 feet from rounding the corner out of view. Not enough time to see someone on the video. Same with the mailman, sometimes the camera sees him way too late.
Stu... agree with your points on this incredible security camera. I have several of Eufy's cameras and love them. My only beef with Eufy is with the alert sounds in the app, when an event is triggered, they all sound like my typical alerts/notifications I get through my cell phone for texts and emails, etc. There is NOT an alert that I can choose that sounds more like an alarm for a triggered event or that sounds so different than my cell phone alerts that I would "KNOW" it's a Eufy camera alert. The sounds Eufy offers are just too much like a NORMAL text alert or current alert for your cell phone. I WANT something that is more distinct or the option to choose my own unique sound/alert in the app.
Fantastic review. I agree with all your points. I have three of these now and cannot believe what you get for the price. Truly awesome camera. Only two areas I’d like to see improvement, beyond your points are a lens hood so people cannot see it following them (for the Amazon guy who I’m sure is unnerved about being followed every day), and I’d like to see them add motion sensing around the unit so it can track subjects outside its immediate field of view. I was kind of surprised it didn’t do that and does take away from the functionality of the 360 capabilities. Good job!
This looks impressive but how long will it last? I have the 7 year old Arlo2 cameras, back when it was no subscription for cloud storage and that continues still now. The early Arlo wireless system was well ahead of the pack back in 2017, and what's impressed me is how my cameras, batteries and solar panels are still going strong today. My cameras have been out in the outdoor environment rain hail and shine. Everyone is talking Eufy but there has been problems with frosting of the solar panels and water getting into some cameras.
I'll be looking into this camera based on your review. I trust your opinion because you're a fan of Islay Scotch Whisky. From this I can deduce that you are a gentleman of great taste and discernment. Cheers!
I had eufy cameras and found that the alerts and the camera "waking" was very slow and very often only caught people leaving as opposed to arriving. There are also so many inconsistencies with cameras connecting to some home bases and not others and some not connecting to any homebase at all. The Eufy official forums have plenty of unhappy customers.
Interesting… which model camera and home base were you using? Obviously there’s things you can do to mitigate. I find mine really fast, using a Homebase 3 which is hard wired into the network, and using an SSD in it for speed. Then the cameras themselves are all in good range to the base station. I find it takes only a second or so to load up.
what an absolutely outstanding review! you are a RUclips goldmine. I love your humor but even better is that it is expertly followed up with incredible technology-based reviews of the camera.
Reolink trackmix moves and zooms the closeup camera separately, which is what this Eufy camera is missing. Eufy S340 does not focus the turning based on the zoom lens, but only turns when the person comes closer to the edge of what the wide angle lens records, missing to frame the whole action with the zoom lens. ...and btw.: 8GB and no SD slot is way below what a 3k+2k resolution camera requires.
Brilliant camera setup, just bought two myself with Homebase 3. Only issue I've found so far is when more than one person on the driveway, it'll only track the closest person to the camera. For reference I've replaced a 1st generation blink camera. Also caught the local postie throwing my delivery (now broken) over my gate with the 360 view. Buggers!
I saw that home base yesterday but didn't no the name of it was, when I called customer service to inquire about it they said it just gives you more storage but doesn't serve any other purpose, and they also said I could use the eufy cameras with out it, does that sound correct?;:and I was disappointed when they said live view was only good for two minutes before it times out, I think they could do much better than 2 minutes
@@investigator6203 That is incorrect, the Homebase 3 gives you better AI capability, also a better Proprietary wireless signal that has superior range than your wifi router. All newer cameras they sell do have some limited AI features and smaller storage capabilities locally, but to truly open up the software AI capabilities of these cameras, you need to connect it to an HB3. but it isnt required to get a great camera. Just makes it better. Oh and I forgot to mention, with the Home Base 3, you also get motion event video stitching. If you have a motion event captured across multiple cameras. The HB3 will stitch them into one single video, which is very nice to track a sequence of events. Without the HB3 you do not get this. Also with the HB3 you can upload photos of you and your family and the AI will recognize you by the assigned name you gave the photo when you uploaded it. So there are many features the HB3 offers, that whoever you spoke to, did not know or share.
My biggest complaint about Eufy cameras are the outdoor ones do not offer continuous recording even if you have the HomeBase3 and expandable storage in it. It's a massive downfall that they SHOULD be able to fix. I have no idea why they do it this way and I hate it.
@@snns99 The problem is they aren't battery. The S100 wall light cam doesn't allow it, the wired + battery doorbell could also do it. There is zero reason the S100 doesn't have continuous recording capability.
@@DextarRogue The powered flood light cams do offer 24/7 recording. You need to have them connected to a HB3 and should have an external hard drive to have enough storage to accommodate 24/7 recording. That isn't a hard design issue, that is just good storage planning. Also the HB3 needs to be hard wired to your router and not wife connected for 24/7 recordings to work. Those other cameras you mentioned, weren't designed for 24/7 recording so it is not surprising they dont have that feature. They would need to be compatible with the HB3 for the 24/7 feature to work. I dont see the S100 on the list of compatibility and I do see the wired dual cam doorbell under evaluation so that doorbell cam may have it at some point. As previously stated, there should not be any expectation to have battery operated cams be capable of 24/7 recordings.
@@sensei2121 My HB3 is directly wired, the only thing it doesn't have is extra storage added to it. The S100 (hardwired outdoor camera) and the battery doorbell (wired) also does not. That is inconsistency in product lines. Had I known they didn't have it, I wouldn't have bought them. They are also awful security cameras, I have literally walked up to the S100 and it has not triggered. Until I set the activity zone it wouldn't trigger. Eufy offered the doorbell from Best Buy which offered continuous recording. That didn't connect to the home base and had expandable storage but if you bought the same one from anywhere else, no 24/7. I think the cameras are great and good value but the software is half baked. Fixing these issues would make them drastically better.
@@DextarRogue Your experience with Eufy products have been the opposite of mine. I own 6 cameras, E340, S330 and the S340 as well as the retro smart locks and I have had no issues with them using the extended AI feature while being connected to the Home base 3. Of course they all are on the compatibility list for the HB3 too so I didn't expect there to be issues. The E340 cams have 24/7 recording capability, as advertised, and work as they are supposed to without issue. It is my opinion that your expectation of the S100 capability is unrealistic in that no where on the Eufy Website did it claim that the S100 could offer the features you expected. As I stated earlier, the S100 is not on the HB3 compatibility chart so if you looked that up before purchasing, you might have saved yourself some disappointment. All wired doorbell cams also show as incompatible with the HB3, except the Wired Dual doorbell cam, which is listed as under evaluation. Of course this just means HB3 compatibility will offer enhanced AI features and doesn't mean it would have 24/7 recording. No where on the Eufy web site does it say the S100 or the wired doorbell products provide 24/7 recordings. If Best Buy incorrectly stated that there was 24/7 recording for a certain model, that clearly does not, based on Eufy's own web site, that is on Best Buy, not Eufy. Having a feature expectation for products that were never designed to have that feature is not the fault of Eufy. I also would disagree with your statement on Eufy's software as being half baked. THey are constantly providing firmware and app updates for their products. They are constantly fixing bucks and implementing new features. They are also open to suggestions and forward those suggestions to their Engineering for review. I have experience with many other brands, and for this price point, as well as some at higher price points, you cant beat these cameras and what they offer. It is my opinion, your disappointment stems from misguided or unrealistic expectations for the models you chose to purchase.
Have it and happy about it. Only issues i have are folowwing: - actually the 360 guard is not a real 360 guard, imho.: in my setup i have 360 field of vieuw. Pitty enough the motion sensor doesnt pick up .otion in 360. If out of field of view it doesnt pick up motion. I nee 2 camera's now. -I miss auto-cruise in this and especcialy with point mentioned above: With auto-cruise i can have 360 guard with only one camera. I understand though, they might not put auto cruise in to save battery life.. Great camera though. Nice review 😊
Thank you for the very full review. Also even as it is not a UK product, but having a LOCAL to review. It is a HOME GROWN review. Nice one. P.s. I like you '' dry humour - only a Brit ''.
Have u had eny problems with this cctv. Now u have Properly had the time 2 test it out. I am looking to get 2. And a home hub. I am nevis about the battery. As i live in Wales as well
I, like you have worked my way through many different manufacturers, and here I am evaluating the Eufy equipment. My biggest question is has it got the range. I see you are in a small holding and like me there can be some distance between Homebase and camera. At the moment I’ve the HB3 connection via Ethernet and my (only) camera at about 20-25m away through at least 1 thick concrete wall: it works, so far. Now! I would, like to replace my existing gate bell/camera and this requires another 6-7m and another thick gate post which the camera would be mounted on the opposite side (obviously outside the gate), WILL IT WORK? If the system uses the existing Wi-Fi network then I think it would but if it totally relies on the HB3 Wi-Fi then I’m not sure it will make it the extra few meters. A dilemma I have!!! Thanks for your informative videos.
6:40 I have the same camera with homebase 3, and unfortunately I can't confirm what you say. The camera does not charge in cloudy days It happened only once and the battery was recharged by only 300 mAh. Unfortunately, in two weeks there was no sun in the sky and the battery dropped from 100% to 20% at that time. The camera does not always track caught people and sometimes stops recording despite the fact that the movement is still going on, even though I set the video recording up to 60 seconds.
Thanks for the great review. A couple of questions. 1.) Do you know if it is region locked? 2.) If I do not get the home base, would the camera's still record during a power outage and be available on the app for viewing when the power is back on and the camera connects to the wifi?
I have dual cam battery powered video door bell from Eufy. Not the best for 2-way talk and is slow in opening video clips. I am leaning towards Reolink Duo 3 camera.
good review. I have been looking at Eufy equipment for some time. I didn't know about this model, but it looks like my new favorite. Thank you. I just lost my present wired cameras to old age. I bought them in 2005.
Thanks for your review, Stu. I am left with one important question regarding the most impressive feature this camera has: will the device detect motion _outside_ its field of view, then direct the camera to it, or does the motion need to occur within the 135º the camera is able to capture? In other words, what are the specs of the motion detectors, in terms of angle (and distance)?
You can charge with a power bank if it has the right capacity, but it will take a long time, so it's best to take the camera off and charge it with a phone charger
I like the this I have the door bell but not the delay maybe five or ten minutes at times tried alsorts to get it to work quicker to no avail. This kind of puts me off. Great review.
Pretty compelling. I’ve been happy with my PoE cameras and Sighthound NVR for several years, but this is looking like it may be too good to pass up. Great review, thanks!
Thats possibly my only feature request for future Eufy cameras, is i would love them all to support POE... not necessarily for the power, because the solar is so good - but i'd love it for connectivity speed. Would take things to the next level (and obviously let you do things like continuous recording)
To Stu's Reviews, seven months later, are your impressions the same? I've seen some comments about tracking issues, the solar panel delaminates, and various other nits.
Hi thanks for the review. What about the Wifi is it stable the signal when there is a metal wall in the middle, the cam is around 10 meters away from the router.
HI Great video. Can you tell me if the camera alone will pick up animals (i want to detect Herons near my pond).I have asked Eufy and they say it does but comments on You Tube seem to indicate it won't without the Homebase 3.So what have you found being a real user ? Thanks
Hi Stu, can you tell in you option what is best the Eufy Solocam S340 or the eufyCam 3 Solar 4K and the difference in picture quality is it's picture quality a huge difference as i'm looking at buying Thanks
Hi Liked the review I have 4 big Dogs that run around at night Im just worried that they would keep turning the light on can it be turned off and is there a night vision option
Main question is does it track detection 1st when is turning the other way ? Or only where the lens is facing ? If i come at it from behind will it track me or only if i walk in from of len ?
I couldn't find anywhere info about detection of a person outside of the field of view. What if the camera is pointed at one direction but a there is a person behind it? How it is going to be detected? After detection yes, I understand that it can track it of course. So, how this cam stays all day?. Does it rotate constantly?. Any settings? Thank you.
Bummer! Only solution would be either mount it higher, or (and I’ve not tried this so not sure how it would impact anything, you could potentially mount it on a wedge which would increase the upward angle of the zoom lens? I’d be interested in seeing what happens…
Having used both the S340 and Eufycam 3, would you recommend getting the S340 over the Eufycam3? It might depend on what the use of is for the camera, but I wanted to hear what you would do.
Can you confirm that the software can coordiante several cameras if you are looking at history, from what I heard you just have to scroll one camera and the other ones will show the same time... I hope this makes sense.
Really like it BUT the most important to me is, can i watch it on a TV Screen, like on my PC or only on the Handphone??? Most Cams can only be watched on Handphones, like this V380 ones, it worked before on PC but does not anymore since a year.
Hi Stu, great review. I had a couple questions for you if that's ok. I'm looking at purchasing this camera mainly for the 360 and the zoom. It's so we can monitor a gate AND monitor our herd of horses (where the zoom is required). I was disappointed to learn that in order to have more memory than 8G you need to buy more hardware or an online plan. An SD card slot is pretty standard for any camera. I can't find the answer to this question anywhere but does the camera rewrite memory or does it "fill up" and have to be emptied? The cameras I currently have write over the memory when they fill up, and I have 128G microSD cards in them, so I can go back quite a ways in time if required. If the S340 does this than 8G is probably good enough, as it's not so much a security camera as a live monitoring camera. Second question - what pipe is in your video? As a fellow brother-of-the-briar, just have to ask :)
Does it trigger the alarm on all eufy products connected to the homebase? Or just the one you´re watching? For example: you have the eufy duel 2 pro doorbel, 2x eufycam 3 an 1x the eufy S340 (the reviewed product in this video). This is your home security setup, all conected to the same Homebase 3. If alarm is triggerd, do they all give of the sound. Or only the activated camera, or the activated camera and the homebase? Thanks for the answer, can´t really find this answer with video proof.
Hi Stu, great review as always, thank you very much for your work. I got a question about this product. Since the camera will move and that for changing their field of view; Is it possible to set the "black protect my neighbours privacy fields" so I can use it in more populated areas? Thanks again, Brian
You can’t currently do that - but you make an excellent point that I hadn’t considered! I’ll mention that in my next relevant coverage of eufy… but hopefully they’ll see your comment 👀👀
Question, I unplugged my eufy base station and moved it to a different location. Everything‘s working great however, all my recordings over the last five days before moving it have been completely wiped out. Is this a thing? Very concerning
On the Eufy site, I asked the range between the S340 and the Home Base 3. The answer she gave me was "30 feet". Sounds pretty weak to me. What have you found to be the max range between the camera and the base?
How does the load times of a live video feed compare to blink? I personally find the live video feed useless on blink due to the load times. Meaning , I get a notification then click on it and it takes about a minute to load and by that time whatever was there is gone.
Ok newbie here, Does this come with a base unit where you can add additional cameras? I like this camera for my back yard but would like another smaller one for my front porch.
I don’t off the top of my head, but my furthest one is about 65ft away from the base station, and signal wise it’s showing 4 bars out of 4 still. Next eufy stuff I cover, I will test the range to the extreme 👍
I don’t have this camera but I do have one of the indoor 360 cameras and yea I would really like to set a default view. I frequently find it staring at a wall that is 1 foot away from the camera and nothing is going to be seen there. Seems like something they should have addressed a long time ago.
Just purchased one of these to add to my eufy setup. Question: What do you set the power source to for charging, battery or solar ? My s40 is charging but not my s340.
Not 100% sure on the continuous - I’ve read that it’s possible, although I think it involves several work around with this model. Eufy do a range that do however natively support 24/7 recording so if that’s a must- I’d check those out!
Had mine installed for a few days now. The only issue I have is that I installed in a high traffic area and get a lot of notifications and the current English weather isn't very sunny so battery drain is high, but thats mainly my fault and the weather!
Are you using the homebase 3 or direct WiFi out of interest? I think using Homebase 3 allows you to slim the notifications down by only notifying for things like humans. Also play around with the optimisation and activity zones 👌
@@StusReviewsUK no not using the homebase 3, I think it's a bit too expensive to buy that and also having to get a hard drive as well. I do have notifications/recordings for all movement and set the maximum record time to 120 seconds so as I said, it's my own fault but I'll start optimising it soon. The only other issue I found is at night time when it tracks someone close to the wall it's mounted on, the ir blows out the picture. I've put in a feature request to be able to set pan/tilt limits to stop this
@NinjaBrad80 oh that’s interesting… so you mean the IR reflects back from the wall… obviously that’s situational… I’ve got mine on a sort of jut-out… but interesting. Unfortunately a negative of IR night vision. You could switch to colour and use the spotlight instead?
@@StusReviewsUK yes, the ir reflects off the wall. I don't have the spotlight on as some of my view overlooks a public path so I think it would be a bit disconcerting for people to have a spotlight following them! Still happy with my purchase though, would have been good for 24/7 recording but eufy don't have that option on any battery camera
really want to get this for the driveway but the entrance to the driveway from the house is about 100 m . how well or if at all will it detect wht router . range? I have built in cameras in my lamb barn out near the driveway area but really crappy cameras - was considering replacing everything but hate to spend when I don't know if it will work - distance to WIFi is my concern - any thoughts?
Thanks for the interesting review but your heavy cloud cover must be a lot lighter than the cloudy skies here in Canada. I've never seen my Eufy S340 Solocam solar collector ever collecting any power on cloudy days.
Don’t make the mistake I made which was not changing the battery setting to solar panel. My camera wasn’t using the solar panel to charge until I changed the configuration in the app.
I just bought 3 of these today. Set 2 up so far. I'm blown away by the tracking.

Only issues i have are folowwing:
- actually the 360 guard is not a real 360 guard, imho.: in my setup i have 360 field of vieuw.
As i live in Wales as well
The site says you can install an SD card. Others say it does not have an SD card slot. Does it have an SD card slot?
Thanks for the review, Stu… Been looking at this one since release…👍🏻
Dude just because at 0:45 I sub to you, that was hilarious, also great video.

Literally just bought this camera and base this week. Need to install this weekend.
Great video how does the camera solar panel work in the British winter when there is no sun and ahort daylight days ?
Thanks for the great review. A couple of questions. 1.) Do you know if it is region locked? 2.) If I do not get the home base, would the camera's still record during a power outage and be available on the app for viewing when the power is back on and the camera connects to the wifi?
this is like the Top Gear of camera reviews
I have dual cam battery powered video door bell from Eufy. Not the best for 2-way talk and is slow in opening video clips. I am leaning towards Reolink Duo 3 camera.
I just bought this. I like it so much, i will buy a few more for different homes.
good review.
Thank you for your video. Has helped immensely.
You are welcome!
Hou would you charge this if you did not have the option to use the solar panel, could you use a power bank or something like that? Thank you
You can charge with a power bank if it has the right capacity, but it will take a long time, so it's best to take the camera off and charge it with a phone charger
You can back up the Homebase 3 to flash drive or an ssd external via the rear USB.
Nice review. You showed two night time clips, one in color and one which was infrared I assume? I don’t remember you describing those features.
I like the this I have the door bell but not the delay maybe five or ten minutes at times tried alsorts to get it to work quicker to no avail. This kind of puts me off. Great review.
Great video - just bought one!!
Thanks
Hi Stu,
can you tell in you option what is best the Eufy Solocam S340 or the eufyCam 3 Solar 4K and the difference in picture quality is it's picture quality a huge difference as i'm looking at buying Thanks
I find that having it fool you around is a great derturent
Hi Liked the review I have 4 big Dogs that run around at night Im just worried that they would keep turning the light on can it be turned off and is there a night vision option
Great video just ordered 4 with base system 👍
With the discount, now is the time to do it! And now you’ve got 1440 degrees of coverage! 😂
Thank you.
Support alexa automation when detected motion to trigger turn on smartbulb etc?
Thanks for the video. I just bought 3 of them with Black Friday price. 😎
So near, yet so far, my garden slopes up hill 😢. I'll have to keep looking

Great Review, that is the same camera built onto the bottom of the Apache AH-64 Helicopter. If Airwolf had had this camera it would still be on TV.
😂
Loved Airwolf 😢😂
Thanks stu, great review. Subscribed 👍
Cheers steve, Welcome to the Country Club! 🥃
Will this work with the original Eufy Homebase (1) or do you need to upgrade to Homebase 3 ?
Thank you for a funny and detailed review 😊
Thank you for watching!
good review. might replace my arlo and Nest cams with these
If you have a blackout and the homebase is offline, will the camera record to its internal storage?
I love your studio!
Thank you kindly! 👍
Can’t one just add a larger capacity SD Card? Or did I miss something?
After a power outage, do footages already in the cameras automatically update to the hb3?
Does this camera work on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz or both Wi-Fi signals?
Hi Stu,
great review as always, thank you very much for your work.
I got a question about this product.
Since the camera will move and that for changing their field of view;
Is it possible to set the "black protect my neighbours privacy fields" so I can use it in more populated areas?
Thanks again,
Brian
You can’t currently do that - but you make an excellent point that I hadn’t considered! I’ll mention that in my next relevant coverage of eufy… but hopefully they’ll see your comment 👀👀
Question, I unplugged my eufy base station and moved it to a different location. Everything‘s working great however, all my recordings over the last five days before moving it have been completely wiped out. Is this a thing? Very concerning
Excellent review! New subscriber.
On the Eufy site, I asked the range between the S340 and the Home Base 3. The answer she gave me was "30 feet". Sounds pretty weak to me. What have you found to be the max range between the camera and the base?
I have thick stone walls and the distance between the home base and the camera is about 13 feet and the range bar shows one line only.
It doesn't come with a base unit, it's available as an extra featuring increased functionality and storage. This was mentioned in the video.
Do you know the max range from the base the camera can be placed,
Enjoying your reviews thanks
I don’t off the top of my head, but my furthest one is about 65ft away from the base station, and signal wise it’s showing 4 bars out of 4 still. Next eufy stuff I cover, I will test the range to the extreme 👍
@@StusReviewsUK thank you
Does the solar panels recharge the batteries?
Are those your dogs? Love them!
Haha, yes - thank you! They occasionally pop up from time to time!
Top notch review 👍
Thanks Mark! Never thought I’d be doing an eye test on a camera 😂
🤣 I do like your style of reviews , please don't take offence , but imho very Clarkson-esk
What kind of recording does it have and how long does it keep it for? I need 7 ish days rolling playback if possible
I just ordered mine. It was pretty expensive but at least i wont have to keep paying for blink subscription
Good review Stu. Looking for a solar cam for a rarely visited home, so this may be the ticket.
I don’t have this camera but I do have one of the indoor 360 cameras and yea I would really like to set a default view. I frequently find it staring at a wall that is 1 foot away from the camera and nothing is going to be seen there. Seems like something they should have addressed a long time ago.
I don’t know about yours, but this one you can set the default view.
Does it work with Apple TV
Can you turn off the spot light?
Just purchased one of these to add to my eufy setup. Question: What do you set the power source to for charging, battery or solar ? My s40 is charging but not my s340.
Power source should be ‘solar panel’ to get the solar charge working properly 👍
@@StusReviewsUK thanks a lot. Appreciate your reply

Does it link up with homebase 2 which has ai and face recognition features...? Great review. 👍
Not 100% certain but I don’t *think* the Homebase 2 supports any of the solocams - just the Homebase 3 😭
Great review. 👍
Cheers Dave!
Can you hear the PTZ motors when it's following you around and you're closeby?
I’d say even underneath it, it’s very quiet!
I was shocked this didnt come in 4k model first. Lets come out with something new but with years old 2k.
Great review Can you do continious recording on this if not can it be plugged to a power source?
Not 100% sure on the continuous - I’ve read that it’s possible, although I think it involves several work around with this model. Eufy do a range that do however natively support 24/7 recording so if that’s a must- I’d check those out!
@@StusReviewsUK Under power manager, you can use the customize recording and manually adjust the length of the videos you take.
does it have continuous recording????
I need advice. I’d like an outdoor security camera which is mains powered and has HomeKit secure video- does this exist? Thanks!
Any advice out there??
can you hard wire this in or is it only solar
Hi, does this work with the homebase 2?
Why not have a SD Card input? How does it record, does it record like a car dashcam or after it reaches 8 GB it’s full?
it just loop records, so starts rewriting over old footage once its full. However in the app you can download and backup footage you want to keep.
Great review just bought it from Amazon £129 👍 already have HB2 and 2 pro c cameras
Hi,does it work ok with hb2 ?
@@darrenowens1543 yes just connect to your home WiFi not HB2
@@kbsub hi, thanks for your quick response, that great news 👍 merry Christmas 🎄
really want to get this for the driveway but the entrance to the driveway from the house is about 100 m . how well or if at all will it detect wht router .
We get lighter clouds here in wales haha. I’ve just checked and there isn’t a single day I’ve not collected this week, and it’s been relatively grim!
Don’t make the mistake I made which was not changing the battery setting to solar panel. My camera wasn’t using the solar panel to charge until I changed the configuration in the app.
