The EOS range of Canon Cameras, with the EF mount not the FD mount can help to grow you photography came without killing your bank account.
This camera introduced the newly-developed, Multi-BASIS AF sensor which provided three autofocusing points.
One-Shot AF and predictive AI Servo AF are featured as AF modes. In the Full Auto mode, the camera detects whether the subject is still or moving with signals received from the Multi-BASIS. The AF mode is then set automatically.
The three focusing points are red LEDs in the viewfinder’s image area. They are easy to see and any focusing point can be selected manually with a button and dial. A bar-code book was also provided to enter the bar-code for camera settings needed to achieve the effects shown in the book’s sample photos.
Well, I've had my 10QD since new, and it still delivers. I could do with a spot meter, but apart from that, it does all you need. I now have a 1D X mkII but all of the brilliant L lenses fit.
Meanwhile, I also have an AE1 P and the very forgotten EF that I have also had since new in 1978 .

There was in that era an American photojournalist and photo magazine column writer by the name of Bill Pierce. He referred to cameras like the EOS series
as Wunderplastik. You seem to enjoy your channel with justification. As do I.
I refer to most woman. And hip hop dudes as wunderplastik😅
The one major issue with the EOS 10, 10S, 650 & the like is the failing internal shutter bumper. Evidence in your example shown with the film door open . That dark spot on the shutter leaf upper left will get worse and spread out across the leaves causing them to stick together. Then you need to take 2 pics to get 1. 1st will get no light on the film likely after resting a few minutes. You can VERY VERY CAREFULLY clean it with a cotton swab and alcohol. But it will return. Only way to take care of proper is overhaul. Shutter must come out. Disassemble remove/replace bumper material etc. And while your at it. Take care of the rest while it's apart. I charge $200 which is way more than the value. Or is it? It will very likely keep working another 20 years.....
