    Another epic review. I tell you dude, you make me want to literally get dressed to go out and get one now lol. Not because your blowing smoke but because you make so much sense. I used to be in sales and was always the top sales guy. My secret was only working for companies and pushing products I wholeheartedly believed added more value than the asking price. People who maintain their integrity have that power. Video quality getting better and better. You deserve way more exposure. Keep it up! Btw, yes dude I agree. I was actually shocked when I saw a Supra in person on the street. It looks way more beautiful and expensive and sports-car-legit than any video could portray it. I was literally shocked 😲

Funny how everyone dogged them in the 90s to till they started winning everything and then becoming the poster child car for Gran Turismo. I am just way to biased , I got my drivers license in Texas in my father's 1976 Toyota Celica GT, helped him install cat elim & weber carbs, it was a gem, later in life , finally was able to buy my own used 82 Supra, loved it, then scooped a used 87 Supra Turbo so much fun, unfortunately I was never able to afford a Mark IV Supra, but it was the LAST SUPRA ever made. As a nod to the era of "true japanese supercars" and showing my bias, I also owned bunch of used JDM beauties , a 78 280z (rusted away😒 , 81 280zx turbo, 79 Rx7 (engine failed), 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R (traded in for 3000gt), and my last toy was 1994 3000gt base model, could not afford that VR4 lol.
    I am not saying this New Z4/Supra aka Frankenstein Bimmer (similar to BRZ/Toyota 86), is not a great car, I am sure it is fantastic but....
    I think the RC-F is more in line with being a Mark V with the LC 500 being a modern day classy 2000GT.

      Hey thank you my friend for the kind words, so I mentioned this briefly in the video but yes I would take a Supra over the RC F. Supra is just dynamically a better handling and more fun to drive vehicle. Supra is also the newer fresher vehicle I think it gets more attention on the road as well. But RC F is still a cool car it is far more practically with usable rear seats and a far larger trunk so depends on what you need but I would pick Supra

    I’ve read/seen the upgraded 2021 3.0 has too much power and harder to control the rear end from whipping out. Would think the 3.0 is more reliable since it works less with less cylinders. That scalloped out area between the bass speakers is to fit a full size golf bag.

Toyota should have tried harder to outdo themselves with the Supra. They didn't, plain and simple. They took the easy way out. Nissan and Honda did not do that with iconic sportscars. The GT-R and the NSX were built in-house from the ground up. Doing that action alone gives a lot of props to both of those companies. Yes, both of those cars are more expensive than the Supra, but I think respect is with more than saving a couple dollars. I feel like Toyota might scrap the BMW in the near future. @@ssjMaximum22Goku That's how I felt. Too much history in the Supra to simply revamp the styling, but under it's skin is pure BMW Z4. Sports cars are slow sellers. Porsche looked at this differently, they started building SUV's which allowed them to put money into racing their Sports Cars which makes those sold to consumers better overall. Toyota certainly sells an enormous amount of SUV's and make enough money to build the Supra but chose the easy way out. Toyota could have built the Supra, it could have been their pinnacle Sports Car giving prestige to their company. Instead they decided to save money and embarrass the Supra name.

    I think it just makes people mad that Nissan is out here proving that you CAN make a really good sports car ON YOUR OWN. • @MeynMotorGroup
      @MeynMotorGroup  2 года назад

      Yea but the problem with the new Z is nobody has driven it yet and for all we know it could be total junk which tends to happen a lot with overly hyped up cars. @@MeynMotorGroup I mean it sits on pretty much the same chassis as the 370z, so it’s probably going to be just as capable. I just don’t really appreciate the Supra being placed in the same category as the Z, either. The Supra was always more of a competitor towards the GTR, and we have seen where Nissan took that. The Supra wasn’t a cheap car in the 90s but now it’s sort of a middle of the road car. I just don’t like it because it feels like a false revival of why the original Supras stood for.
