I drove this car for a whole week and it was Absolutely amazing!!! Maneuvers like a beast, fast as hell and sounds amazing. People need to stop hating and just appreciate the car for everything it delivers. When companies collaborate to produce a product, it benefits everyone. Most haters probably have never even sat in a Supra alone drive one. I’m going to buy one bc it’s that amazing for the price.
Facts. I have one and love it. I was a hater at first but people need to test drive for themselves and they will change their opinions fast. That's what happened to me!

@@brodelnaz the problem my guy is that they sell it as toyota. Toyota is known reliability, BMW has one of the highest cost of maintenance in the world. Plus, is unreliable af, cause literally the only thing thats toyota is the logo

@@theking-og4oe the b58 engine and ZF transmission is actually quite reliable... so make sure you come here with some facts rather than belaboring old wives tales and parroting scotty kilmer

Man I really enjoyed this review! The Supra from what I've seen on reviews is an all around great sports car. Its not perfect but it's very good at pretty much everything its meant for. And the sound....I'm speechless! Those crackles & pops are awesome! Once again great review bro!

I've had the 2021 3.0 Premium for about 21 months now and remain absolutely in love with it. Also sick of the "BMW comments" you find everywhere. It's a GREAT engine for this car and who gives two s--ts who made it as long as it works well in this car??? This is the most fun car I've ever owned and the only two-seater ever. As long as you have another car for "making the big Costco run," I'd highly recommend it. I am surprised you did not mention the actually pretty terribly wind buffeting issue when driving with the windows down, however, this is easily 95% resolved with a couple aftermarket carbon fiber deflectors that you can adhere just above the mirrors. They are actually quite subtle and look like part of the original body after you put them on.
Looks like a great car to drive thru the black hills canyon roads!

Good review and it wasnt laced in BMW comparisons. Even when you said the shifter was unique even though that’s the standard BMW shifter lol. I really like the look of these cars and even as a Toyota purest myself, i like all the new tech into them. All the high power turbo goodness BMW has been putting out, i hope this car doesn’t inherent any of the bmw mechanical issues👍

I have a 19 civic type r and just pick a premium GR with all the options for 51k,i though my civic was fun to drive😅 omg i love this supra,my 1st toyota ever cause I'm a honda subaru guy.The acceleration on this car is brutal(stock compared to my type R which is fbo running on e30) still dont stand a chance against the stock supra.A car you can add 1,500 worth of upgrades and u own a 500hp 10 second car.What else can u ask for 51k???

Are they not selling hence Toyota’s msrp price reduction? Opposite of 2021 Genesis G80 which is 6k more than its 2020 model.
Dealers have to give heavy discounts or else the Supra won't sell well. The car is overpriced for the performance.
I bought a ‘21 in October. The car is a blast to drive, and my previous car was a ‘19 ZL1. The car is a bit too techie(?) for me, but all in all, I like it. Not an everyday driver, so I still haven’t got the recommended break in miles on it.

@@itachi20007 I loved the ZL, for the short time I had it (long story that ended in a GM buyback). It was a beast. I got a good buy on it, and couldn’t get another one at that price. Was looking at a C7 but the prices had spiked. I really like the Supra, but it is a little tight in the interior. It does draw the attention! Good luck in your decision!

@@itachi20007 I bought the car with 225 miles on it. It was technically “new” as it had never been titled. I was told it has been used as a nascar show car. I took the car to be ceramic coated and ppf applied. The guy that did the work noticed paint irregularities and he had a paint depth gauge that showed there was body filler on a quarter panel and door. After much wrangling and an attorney,GM bought the car back. The car was actually trailered to nascar races and got hit at one of the tracks. I would have it today if not for the detail guy and his keen eye.

hey man i’m really close to getting this car, i just have two worries, the visibility and the power. Like i’ve never had car that fast but at the same time i know u can drive it like a normal car when u need to. this will be my daiky
Visibility isn’t that bad with all these different type of aids unlike when the Camaro first came out. Only issue you would have to consider is, reliability is unknown. Toyota said they did enough to make it exceed their standard but that could mean it could be reliable enough through a warranty or enough to keep a lifetime.
Looks cool. But why not have a normal.manual gearbox option? I think they will certainly lose a bunch of potential buyers just because of this...

It’s just from the camera. Depending on lighting it will do that on some cameras. Sorry about that. It doesn’t do it in person 👍

I also love this car. Really gets old with the fake vents, (who cares) and the lack of a trunk button, (another who cares,) and a car made by two of the best auto makers, its not a Toyota its a BMW, the final who cares. Once you drive this car you don't care because it is one of the best performance cars for the money. Put all the standard equipment on this car into a Corvette and you are in the 70- 80K range and Toyota is known for reliability considering problems reported on the Corvette. I got my 3.0 liter premium fully loaded for 57K. It is faster than my C-7 Corvette, not the C-8, but it is more nimble on the turns and stops on a dime. The 382 HP is way under rated. This car is probably 420 HP, rips your head off on takeoff and the transmission is very accurately programmed for optimum shifting. If you drive this car you will be impressed. For the money it is a lot of fun car.

Makes a good project car I mean they already outlined the vent area so once I get it to 1000hp I can use an angle grinder and make some holes in the fake vents and make em real and open em up for more cooling for the turbos brakes and engine and it looks good for a 2j swap

No android auto through a plug or wireless. This still uses BMW’s iDrive 6 even though BMW now has iDrive 7 that has android auto. I know...I said it’s a wireless charging mat lol

The SUPRA was a LEGEND to GENERATION-X, but we all have families now and kids. Millennials don't understand the SUPRA mentality and have families of their own. It's a nice sounding car, but who's going to buy it? It'll be a small niche group.

They might be forgot or didn't know that mclaren f1 engine was made by bmw too, some nissan models were made by renault, rolls royce use bmw chassis, pagani use amg engine, etc
