Christianity DOES teache all people are bad, but some people go to heaven, THROUGH JESUS!

i like this video although as a person who was raised catholic this is exactly what i’ve been taught. that the only way to heaven is through christ, and i’m not really sure i like the implications that if heaven existed, the only ppl who could go to it are those who believe in jesus. i’m agnostic and i’m pretty spiritual and i feel that an ideal world, ppl can change and grow as people, the idea that good people go to heaven and bad people go to hell is untrue, but saying faith in jesus alone is the bridge to heaven implies that morality doesn’t matter, that your actions won’t lead you to anything good, that you may be the greatest person alive but you still go to hell because you happened to believe in a different religion, that seems kinda messed up. but idk
Morality sure does matter and its a good thing. The issue here is that no one is really moral by God's standards. By our own standards, sure some people are saints and really good. But not in God's eyes, because God doesn't just look at the physical but at the inner motives of the person in their heart, their thoughts, their emotions, everything. And God's standard is Perfection. So if you ever committed even one sin ,you are not worthy. But there's no one like that. We all have multiple transgressions. That's why we all need Jesus Christ who replaces our imperfect record with His Perfect Record when we repent and believe in Him.
when someone told me im going to hell I say good. if im in the image of god an satan didnt bow. when im down there I will take that throne an kick him out. so Win WIn in my book. shocked faces when I said that as a kid.

What me get : ~90% is Protestant, only 4 of them Catholic
Also the Catholic *CHURCH* taught me that
faith + good works that lead by faith = go to heaven. The logic here is that you guys say God give you a ticket of the "train to heaven" for free, but you have to prepare for some tools like (spiritual) maps, (spiritual) shields, (spiritual) swords, (spiritual) self-propelled guns, etc (those tools are supposed to help you grow your faith, and defense against Satan's "multiple attack systems". Even if you are a Protestant, you know that have to do something to grow your faith right ? And then you have to walk to the train just at the right time, and get on the *RIGHT TRUE TRAIN,* not some "fake trains that lead to hell", if you are on a fake train, get out and go find the *RIGHT TRUE TRAIN until you in that it...* So it kinda a lot of stuffs to do. But anyways, we believe *only faith in Jesus can save you,* works are just the result of practicing your faith. That's what I've been taught in the Catholic *CHURCH !!!* So I believe that we are all believe the very very same thing but we focus on different part of it due to our different way of understanding the Bible.

Well we still have free will and all BUT we want to live better like no longer live in the life of sin cuz like, we dont want to abuse God's Grace after he showed us mercy
Nice presentation as always! One thing that popped up in my head as I was watching this is what happens to those who don't make the cut into Heaven? I've heard three major Hell theories which consist of eternal conscious torment (ECT) (you'll burn forever in flames and never ever ever have rest), annihilationism/conditionalism (those who are condemned will literally cease to exist, that way there's still punishment but God still gives mercy), and Christian Universalism/Ultimate Reconciliation (even though some people will be cast out, it's not a permanent damnation but rather a reformatory one where in the end everyone will be saved and join God and Jesus Christ in Heaven). Have you had any exposure to those perceptions or had any thoughts about it?
@DOUBLE JAY REACTS, UPGRADED. I'm not saying that with 100% certainty, that's just one of the three hell doctrines I've heard of (Ultimate Reconciliation/Christian Universalism). Overall, I feel that all three theories have solid ground to stand on both biblically and logically. The problem is that I don't feel any of the three have been proven 100% as fact to the point where we can eliminate the other two theories.
