But I still can't help but wonder if I'm a lukewarm Christian or not I wanna go all in for God and burn for Him but I feel like I don't still struggle a lot with sin and I hadn't changed much I think nor I have done much with my faith.. Something i do when i doubt is to tell myself that even though it feels uncertain i will choose to trust god. When i feel doubt i recognize that it's completely natural since it's hard to trust something or someone we can't even see or talk to in person, and i dont condem myself for it. i make the decision to trust god even if i feel that it's uncertain... Kinda like if i was about to bungy jump and feel the fear and don't trust that the rope will protect me but make the decision to trust the rope anyway and just close my eyes and jump.
I also pray for God to help me trust him more, to feel his presence and ask him for help quite a lot. And i also told him in prayer that i do struggle with doubt at times and that when i do feel doubt i make the decision to put my faith in him anyways, that i choose to trust him and that i will stay firm in my faith. And ask for forgiveness for my doubts and that this is the only way i know how to handle those doubts and hope that he is ok with that.
We are only human and nowhere near perfect and he knows that... He's patient with us. I hope this helps. God bless you!

Hello Blue, my name is chrystian. Im from brazil.
So I have religious OCD and I'm a pentecostal (even though im not too much of a fan of this denomination).
Basically I have extreme fear of committing sins and then fear of God to send me to hell. constantly. Constantly searching if I have committed a sin or not. And I doubt about my salvation all the time. And when I study my pentecostal bible for studies... It's like psychological torture.
And some time ago I watched a video of a missionary preaching about that Jesus will come like a thief in the night. And everyone that is distracted, will be left. So he said to do not even watch a movie or do others distractions.
That has given me extreme anxiety.
Even playing games give me fear.
But watching your videos, helped me a lot. Like a burden has left me. God bless you.

    • @fiji.christianblue
      @fiji.christianblue  8 дней назад +9

I can definitely relate Chystian! I know the burden of feeling as though you need to be perfect and do everything right to get Jesus’s grace. That kinda anxiety is a painful thing to suffer. I’m so thankful the Lord brought my video to you and helped you feel some relief! I will be praying that the Lord helps you find stable security in His grace! For me, I go through phases of fear and perfectionism all the time. But with each painful experience with anxiety, God teaches me new things and strengthen my faith! Stick with Jesus and He will get you though 💙💙💙💙

@@fiji.christianblue Hey blue I am Darren from Canada. I just subscribed to your video I am a 50 year old man who is a really bad sinner. I grew up loving Jesus and I accepted him at a young age and I have had the absolute pleasure of leading about 10 people to Jesus. I love Jesus and christianity and I am sold out, I love CS Lewis and I love missions and the kingdom. This is the bad part that scares me though. In being a christian I have struggled my whole life in addictions and even to the point of getting addicted to fentanyl. I am probably less ritchouse then the average non christian and I have failed so much in my life with sin and evil. I often wonder if I am going to hell and I have made such a mess of my life. I am sober from fentanyl for about 11 months but I am so damaged and sinful in my life. I know I am so under Jesus, many people like you included call yourselves sinners LMAO dont even get me started my sin is so grievous compared to most christians and the thing is all my transgressions are and have been done while I am a christian. I think I may be a lichenous christian and I am afraid god will cut me off and burn me as the branch that does not bear fruit.
I sometimes think I am cursed and Jesus has cut me off. I love CS Lewis and the faith , I am baptist/ alliance/mennonite brethren. I am by no means dumb but I am a wretched sinner and I dont think you normal christians really know what real sin is, i am ashamed to say I am the chief of sinners and I am scared I am going to hell.
How can I keep sinning against my lord and saviour who has done so much for me? sometimes I just want to go to africa like machine gun preacher so I can do something useful to god as I am useless now, I am 5o and spent 30 years on the streets being an addict. How can god have a plan for my life?

Thank you bruh. I am a Christian and I’ve started to study religion and the Bible. And I am trying to come to know God. I’ve been preaching and evangelising to people. My best friend she’s a Muslim and she’s gay now. And I’ve been trying for so long to get her to believe and trust in Jesus. We don’t talk now. But even when I preach to Muslims and atheists and even to my friends who are believers. In my mind I am always certain I’ll go to hell. Even though I know you’re saved through Gods grace which we do not deserve by believing in Christ. I know our works mean nothing. And I know that following the law to please God means nothing and will not get you into heaven. I think maybe Gods been trying to tell me I’ve been prideful or something no wonder I can’t feel his presence or hear him. But I have hope now. But it does hurt and boggle my mind. Just knowing most people will go to hell. I have friends and family. What about them? I know how hard it is to even convince one person. And I have all these people that I don’t want to go to hell. Really I don’t want anyone to go to hell for eternity. But I know the second I bring up Jesus all ears are turned off. So it really is just infinite despair. I’ve prayed for so many people for so long. I guess all I can do is just trust God.

I needed to hear this today. Thank you so much. My problem is I listen too much to faulty preachers. I mean those who preach about God but they take things way out of context then all this does is lead many to confusion. Or they simply over hype things. Then I'm left wondering am I really saved? Or am I disappointing Jesus for having doubts about my salvation? I think many who preach have great intentions, but they just go too far overboard with the information then end up stretching the truth about God's word, which in fact is lying! So, they sin as well. As you stated, read the bible. It doesn't lie. You did an amazing job. Thank you!

I don't know, anyone can believe something that's not true. Someone can jump out of a plane and believe that they're gonna float safely to the ground, but that will only happen if they remember the parachute. Otherwise they will plummet despite their belief.
Faith is necessary for salvation but I'd be careful about saying "once you believe you are truly saved, you are saved"
In Matthew 7 : 21-23 Jesus says there will be people who believe that they're saved when they're actually not
Also hope you don't take this as an insult! It's Just a thought :)

@@fiji.christianblue Oh of course, though I believe that verse more so can be applied to the idea of someone who simply goes through the motions of their worship of the lord yet doesn't truly believe it will not given admission to salvation. In the end no one can know if they are saved or not, but I think if you feel in your heart that you doubt it, I feel it shows you doubt jesus will save you in some way. Best thing I can say in that situation is to trust jesus will save you and cast away any doubt. But that's just my two cents, and my interpretation of what I've read! :) Fantastic videos by the way, very informative.

@@CatfoodChronicles6737 If I'm completely honest, I still have much to learn before I can feel comfortable suggesting one specific Bible. But I still think it's good to read any Bible, even the ones I know aren't entirely accurate because getting to know Jesus in any translation I think is good because they get the gist. But remember when reading the Bible that many of the rules and explanations were made for the people of the time, and the Bible was written when humanity had a very different worldview than we do today. The only thing I can really suggest is that if you want to be super thorough with understanding what the text originally meant you can compare and contrast specific Bible verses in different translations. Or, if you are insane like me, you could look into what scholars say the original text meant in its historical context, but they also all say different things. Ultimately, we must have faith in Jesus, follow him, and show love and kindness to everyone. Every translation got that part right.

this was on my fyp. i had a father who was a atheist and a white supremacist. i grew up thinking that racism was normal and my exposure to God was nearly zero. i spent 25 years without God, another 5 in a church that was openly blaspheming, and another 5 trying to undo those 30 years. up until about 5 minutes ago i believed salvation was merit based. like heaven has a VIP section for people who committed 0 sins. i dont like the idea that you can choose to walk with the Lord and still continue to sin. i have 2 main sins, adultery(matthew 5:28) and a drug problem with a very specific and very illegal drug(1 corinthians 10:13), and i continue to apologize every time i do a sin(i consider "checking out" or "oogling" a sin. if you look at her butt, you just sinned), and that just goes to show how imperfect i am. "you will never be enough, God will save you anyway" Blue, Im going to remember those words for life. i hold Jesus Christ at the epitome of perfection, and im aware i cannot attain perfection myself, but im never going to stop trying. im always trepidatious about christian content on youtube(like and sub or go to hell!!), and about content made by younger people(that genX bias), but you have earned the right to be not amongst the "view whores", and to my right is your video "hazbin hotel is from the devil", and that earned you a SUB.(btw vivienne medrano creator of helluva boss/hazbin hotel is an open christian hater, and she said in an interview: "devils are always portrayed as mean and evil, and i wanted to show a different side of them, to humanize them if you will") sorry for the wall of text, i type really fast and i wanted to tell you how much your words mean to me. thanks for posting this for real.

hello so again thanks for beign humble like always, that is an inspiration.
so i read the bible once again and found as i always do that it doesnt make sense, in fact i see more wrong in it the more i grow up:
    1) the classic "god allows way too much pain to be good", pain that living beings who suffered it didn´t have a chance to avoid and who didnt do anything to deserve it, i mean what jesus suffer was nothing compared to what many other humans has and still suffer at this very moment, not even close, to this question the religious people justified it saying another classic answers:
*"this pain is nothing compared to the eternal life they are goin to receive", i mean come on you can´t justified it like this, at some point it becomes evil, I would rather prefer instead of trying to justified it, that religious people would just admit it has no sense and just go with the "i will have faith that there is a reason for it", or maybe the religious people dont see or can´t imagine for real how bad people actually suffer, they may think they saw the bottom of it, but it always goes deeper.
*there is also the masochistic justification that "throught pain we learn or become more worthy" they say as they hit themself enjoying it, while people are just out there murdering kids like its nothing
    2) Another reason would be threats like "love me or burn forever" i have no doubt he will make us burn, he is the biggest killer in all history by far, why will a reasonable person will buy that this god is good, someone following that does not feel love he/she feel fear and.
    3) isnt it just to convenient for the kings wanting to dominate people throught religion (like it was common practice to do even to this day), to give them this idea of "leave me have it all now and make a slave out of you because you will have your things when you die" ?
    4) Another reason is the incoherence shown in the bible:
*guide on slavery (Exodus 21:2-11, Leviticus 25:44-46),
    * death penalty on blasfemy (Leviticus 20:10, Leviticus 24:16)
*death penalty for homosexuality (Levítico 20:13)
*execution of a rebellious son. (Deuteronomy 21:18-21)
*submision on woman over man like if they were objects (Exodus 21:7-11)
*job story is the worst story ever
*punishing adam and eve for take a decision that they didnt take because they didnt have logic before eating the fruit, they were basically animals, of course they were gonna eat it
*then the guide on rapists, "if someone rape you they must marry you"... i mean what are you talking about, how are people kneeling and wasting all their life over such a douche bag.
and the list goes on and on and on and on.
now if you think "well there is no reason to avoid religion right ? what harm does it do ?" well it does harm actually:
*if it were not for religion we would have been far more advanced by now,
*people would take blood transfusion to survive
*there is the vaccines subject, i mean the chance of vaccines beign bad on purpose by the goverment is a posibility but that would be another subject we would have to fix also appart from religion,
*thousands or even millions wouldnt have been burn for being "witches" or sinful
*the gay and trans wouldnt have to tolerate so much pain from just born biologically diferent
*all the riches wasted on the church
*jews that can rape woman like its nothing because that increase the chance of jesus birth and they cant abbort for the same reason.
*the condem to the theory of evolution, sexual relations and education, the use of contraceptives, abortion.
now to be fair it does give confort in hard situations but the cost paid for it is not worth.
i will love someone giving me a good respectfull answer that make me change my mind, at least about some of the things.

Vary good video however as an orthodox Christian my response would be that salvation is an ongoing process e.g we still make the decision to follow God till our last breath through the actions we choose to do so faith and works.
one question I have is how you would explain apostasy within your paradigm?

I’m confused, I watched near the end card , and I noticed you mentioned Minecraft, which is what I’m confused about, near the end of proverbs it says don’t take part in worthless things, but if you search up if it’s ok to do something like a hobby as a Christian, which doesn’t really help you grow depending on what the hobby is, it says it’s ok, and if you search up video games, which could be considered a hobby or worthless, you get many responses, some saying it’s from the bad place and if it’s not from God it’s from the devil, and some that just say we should thank him every time we do play it, and spend time with him, but my main question in all of this is, can we have hobbies and interests as a Christian, and still get saved?

1 John 2:3-5 says that people can know that they know God by keeping God's commandments
Combine that with, and you see it is super important you know that we know him.
    Matthew 7:21-23
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven".

@koolkid1234ism we are saved by grace through faith but I mean after being saved you should see yhe holy spirit working through you and wanting to keep commandments through you, for the most part modern christians have stabbed themselves in foot by flushing the law nauling it to cross no need or v want to keep out of love g or father and son. mostly in order to not do the sabbath.

    • @fiji.christianblue
      @fiji.christianblue  2 года назад

You'll never be able to stop sinning. You'll never be perfect. You'll never earn God.
Sorry if it was unclear! I'm definitely not saying God won't ever accept you cuz you're not enough. I'm saying he'll accept you despite your faults

    • @johnnsmith98
      @johnnsmith98 2 года назад

@@fiji.christianblue Ahhh okay I understand but I will have to disagree with the statement "you'll never be able to stop sinning". I believe it is possible you can stop sinning it is very hard but I believe it is possible. My reason for believing this is in the verse John 8:11, Jesus commands an adulterous woman to “Go and sin no more.” implying that she can stop sinning. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 it says "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." this also is telling us that God gives a way to escape sin. Those are my two main reasons I believe we are capable of not sinning. Also great video I had the same situation of sinning then feeling to guilty to ask for forgiveness. Your video was very encouraging :).

@@johnnsmith98 Glad you liked the video!
I base my "you cannot completely stop sinning" belief on verses like
      1 John 1:8
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
(In other words, the goal of becoming sinless is impossible. If you believe you reached it, you're wrong.)
      Romans 7:18
For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I ✨cannot✨ carry it out.
(Sin lives within our flesh. Our flesh will continue to want sin, and even that is a sin in and of itself. Also this is Paul talking! If Paul can't completely stop sinning then I KNOW I can't)
I could pull out more passages but I think those two are pretty strong.
I also base my belief on personal experience. I put a great deal of effort into doing good and being good. And yet with every sin I overcome, five more reveal themselves. It's more than difficult to stop sinning completely, it's impossible.
      Anyway
I'm okay with agreeing to disagree. I genuinely believe time will change your mind though

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” I John 1:9.
"you are not under the law, but under grace." Romans 6:14 -- in context the "you" is referring to born again Christians.
      So-
Even the abominable horrific sins such as murder and rape are forgivable. Off the top of my head I can think of two biblical figures who were forgiven for murder, King David, and the apostle Paul. I can't think of any biblical figures who were forgiven for rape. But if you need more scriptural evidence for _all sins being forgivable_, I will collect it for you :)

You should never stop doubting and question authorities.
That's the way leading to truth, if what you beleive in is actually true, you have nothing to fear.
But if you beleive in harmfull dogma, yes doubt will eventually destroy it.
