Why Most christians go to Hell.

- In the Christian Bible, some specific and nuanced directions to heaven are given. These could also be considered directions on how to be a genuine Christian. But anyone can subscribe themselves the title of "Christian" whether they understand these specific direction or not. I find that many christians are in the camp of not understanding. These people (at least according to The Bible) will not go to heaven to live with Christ, but will be eternally separated from Christ in hell.

Some Clarification!!! 💙💙💚💚💛💛
When I say "christians go to hell" I mean people who call themselves "christian" yet fail to put their faith in Jesus. NOT Christians who accidentally fall into legalism or licentiousness at times.
/______/
The only way to heaven is Jesus. It is Jesus that saves us. It is Jesus, and not anything that we could ever do. PERIOD
*We are saved by Grace though faith!!!*
It is also true that faith without works is dead. This means that works will be present in a persons life when they put their faith in Jesus. It's important to know this. It's also important to know that the works are NOT what saves us.
I do not mean to say that the sin of legalism or licentiousness are unforgettable. They, like all sins, are forgivable and will be forgiven when we put our faith in Jesus.
The "christians" who go to hell, are the people who chose to NOT put their faith in Jesus.
I sincerely apologize for any miscommunication I may have made in the video.
Have a good day! 💙💙💚💚💛💛

@urfav.blonddd You don't have to do anything to earn salvation! I'm sorry if the video didn't say that clearly enough. We are saved by faith though grace! Works naturally flow from true faith in Jesus. But it is NOT the works that save us. Jesus is the one who saves us so put your faith in Him and you will be alright 💙
you have to ask to be saved
If you feel like you need something more, then ask questions. Pick something that you want to understand, do some research, ask people you know and trust. If the answers you're getting don't make sense, keep digging. God isn't afraid of your questions and He tends to leave all the clues you need to find the answers out there for you to discover. God made you to be thoughtful and curious and He wants your curiosity to be rewarded. The truth is out there and the truth will set you free, even if that just means setting you free from doubt by giving you assurance in what you already knew.

Hello A7 C, i sum what understand what you're feeling. I've spent a good chunk of time in my life doubting my salvation. My repentance isn't always completely genuine and my faith is week, so i fear.
But! Their's no reason to fear! Although it's true some "christians" don't have Chris, there is a way to test if you're one of them or not.
1 Corinthians 12:3
"Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit."
If you can say "Jesus is Lord" and mean it with all your heart, you have the spirit. If you can't, I recommend dooing some Jesus searching.
Now even when you have the spent, you still may experience doubt, reoccurring sin, and fear of being sent away at the gate. This is because us christians are sinners. It sucks that we continue to sin, but God will not abandon us for it. He died for the forgiveness of our sins, and that is enough for our salvation. Remember it's God saving us not us saving us. We falter but God does not, so be at peace knowing God has you in His care :)

I just found this video, I think what most Christians forget is that they aren't supposed to please God by being good or thinking He will always forgive them no matter what. What they need to realize is that they need to make a personal connection with God by praying and talking to Him. They need to learn His word to also be able to understand situations in the real world and how to handle it in God's vision. This can allow them to handle things that may happen in the future and can also pass their understanding to others and learn their own point of views from each other. I also like the video though, it's very eye-opening for many Christians. :)
How does that work out for you? Are you just having a monologue, or is he actually answering? Perhaps you just think he talks to you, whereas it's just the voice in your head…
Wow.. Thank you for this🙏🙏🙏
@@virtuosycare you a Christian?
Thats what i once thought, why are people saying that they need to be excuse for god when saying that he is perfect, i think they should know whatever we do, god will always love us, every single one of us
@virtuosyc Hi, Christian here. There's no voice for me. Some people claim to hear a voice, I never have. For me, I get more of a feeling that guides me to the answers I'm looking for or guides me to know what I should do. Usually these "promptings" are more like feelings. How do you know you like a certain kind of music or are attracted to someone? You just feel it. For me, it works the same as that. I can feel it. There's a peace and love (I'd say like a Fatherly love) that comes from God that I've never felt as strongly from anyone else. It didn't happen right away though. I started out by reading scriptures and trying to pray every day. I found the more I learned about who God is supposed be, the easier it was to picture who I was praying to. Eventually, I received my first answer to a question I had and felt for the first time that God might actually exist. Since then I've received more answers to questions and prayers that I couldn't have gotten from anyone else. And the more answers I get, the more I learn about who He is, and the more clear the feelings become. Honestly, it's just one of those things you have to just try if you want to understand. It works in a similar way that you learn a language or build a relationship with someone.
Also consider this: If God is real, then that means you could have access to the most intelligent, wise, and understanding person who has ever existed. Why wouldn't you at least want to TRY to build a relationship with someone like that? If you need help with chemistry homework and don't have access to tutoring? Read some scriptures every day and pray for help to understand it. If you're not sure what you should do when you have a difficult decision to make? Read some scriptures and pray about it. You will be filled with a peace of mind to better make a decision. And you could possibly be prompted to know what decision to make.
Long story short, you're not going to know unless you try. And in this case you don't have anything to lose but everything to gain.
I really need this. Thank you so much.
PS : You are criminally underrated and truly unique. God bless you and keep you safe.
Happy to help, and thank you so much!! 💙💙💙

@@fiji.christianblueI have a genuine question because this is something I struggle with. What are your thoughts then on other verses that talk about stopping sin. For example, Jesus tells us that if we love him, we will obey him. So if we continue to sin, and not obey Him, doesn’t that show that we don’t love Jesus? And therefore are not saved? Or what about when Jesus tells us to pick up our cross and deny ourselves? What about in James where he says Faith without works is dead? What about Romans 2:13. Paul says that God accepts those as right with Him who obey the law. I think many verses in Romans chapter 1, 2, and 3, suggest that true Christians also follow the law. What are your thoughts on that? Because every time I sin I feel like I am not a real Christian and I get so mad at myself for not obeying Jesus and then I think to myself, “if I really loved Jesus or if I really believed, then I wouldn’t be doing this.. etc.” So what are your thoughts there? This is why I am so confused. I really want to follow Jesus with all my heart and I want to pursue Him and be more like Him, but I get so confused with how I really should do this. I am a new Christian and my family raised me Catholic so perhaps this is where a lot of confusion comes from. But I really do want to follow Him and I read my Bible everyday, I just have a hard time understanding what I’m reading and the theology of it all.
@ryand4787
These thoughts are self-destructive. And I’ve been plagued by similar patterns as well. At the root of a sin is the thought to do it, so I pray to the lord that He takes all thoughts captive (see 2 Corinthians 10:5). And ask yourself: do these thoughts actually lead you to Christ and the obedience of him or to despair and separation? Remember His grace for you.
And your trouble with theology? Pray for understanding and don’t be afraid to look to pastors or others who have struggled with the same questions-these actions have helped me in my walk with Jesus. Read the Bible, and try to find others to bounce ideas off of.
I’ll pray for you, that you’ll find clarity and peace.

The way I see the balance of works and faith is simple. It's not about works, but more than just faith alone. It is saving faith. What is saving faith? Well simply put saving faith is where you have faith to the point that you allow it to change you as a person and slowly over time try to better yourself not to save yourself but to please God. Whenever I have sinned, which happens often sadly, I often find myself asking not only for God's mercy and forgiveness but the grace to prevent myself from sinning again. Every once in a while I think "why do I struggle so hard not to sin if my works will not save me"? For which I remind myself that my struggle to not sin is not for me but for God. For I wish to be better for God because I love and trust God, not to save myself.
I hope this helps in your daily life and thoughts. God Bless.

Salvation is free but you don’t get it through your works, but having a pure heart that lives a life reflecting christ and doing all things that honor him despite it being easy or hard
I think your statement is self contradicting. You claim salvation is free and not of works, as the bible clearly teaches, but then go on to say you have to get it through a life of **doing** things to honor christ, which is a form of works. You are backloading works into the gospel. Salvation is either purely by grace or by works. If you try to include works, then grace is dispelled. (Romans 11:6). It should also be noted that if salvation were to be purely of works, God demands perfect obedience to ALL of his laws, which is impossible for men (james 2:10) and the only man to achieve this was Jesus Christ who was the perfect once for all sacrifice for all sin (Hebrews 10:14). True salvation is obtained through faith in christ alone, not what you do to honor christ. God bless.

Why does hell exist?
@@noodle67 Hi friend, I am in no way qualified to do this (I’m a random tween on the internet) but I would like to give my insight as someone who has stressed about your very question before. There are Christians and Non-Christian’s, right? Christians are those who accept Jesus as their savior, and they will go to Heaven. Well, the Non-Christian’s have to go somewhere too, right? So, hell is, from my point of view, God’s way of giving unbelievers what they wanted, a place away from Him. Total separation from God. The reason is because those who didn’t accept Jesus, weren’t forgiven for their sins. Why? Because Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice for all of humanities sins. Firstly never EVER let someone convince you that Catholics aren’t Christians. That’s first off. Catholicism has much more in common with Traditional Christian teachings than nearly anyone else and as far as the Western World goes they’re really the only ones who have even a semblance of Orthodoxy. The reason why people say we’re not Christians is because we’re Liturgical and Sacramental. Essentially we worship using formulaic ritual and believe in sacred practices handed down through the ages (confession, the Eucharist, confirmation, the saving power of baptism, etc). While some Protestant groups resemble Catholicism externally, they’re lacking in one area or other. Assuming they don’t just deny these things entirely.
Regardless if Catholicism is false, then the bad news is all of Protestantism is as well. Their theological foundations are firmly rooted in Medieval Catholic teachings, the only difference is how much of the building above the foundation the specific denomination decided to tear down. If we’re wrong, their foundation is wrong as well and so is the building they built upon it. I genuinely feel so terrible for the people of my generation and the two generations before me. Maybe it was Vatican II or maybe it was somewhere before, but at some point the church really dropped the ball on proper catechesis for lay people. Most can’t explain Catholic Teachings if they even know them and as a result are easy prey.
As for what to do when you sin, the answer is simple. As Jesus said and my own confessor quoted to me, “go to the priest”. Every Church offers the sacrament of confession. Find out what time it is, prepare a detailed list of your sins preferably with numbers and tell all. The Priest will hear you and with the authority granted him via apostolic succession he will give absolution. For all intents and purposes, your sins in that moment are forgiven. Potentially even ones you didn’t mention due to forgetfulness, though I think that point is still debated. In any case Baptism saves, Confession keeps you clean, Confirmation marks your soul as a Soldier for God and the Eucharist imparts grace. Quite the powerful combination that you’d have to be willfully ignorant or spiritually spiteful to resist.
@@My10thAccount Thank you so much! It felt like somebody finally understood me! It's just I had that incident when someone said Catholicism was Paganism and then went on to saying God will make a New Earth which to me sounded like he was contradicting his beliefs but thank you again!

They make that claim for a lot of incredibly stupid reasons. We’re not Iconoclasts for one and Protestants are by and large believers in Iconoclasm. We believe that it is acceptable to have and even venerate religious Iconography and Statuary in religious buildings on the grounds that veneration of an image is veneration of whom the image represents. Veneration is not Worship by the way, but I’ll explain the difference in more detail later if you care to know.
Regardless protestants are completely against the idea on the grounds that it violates the commandment against Graven Images and becomes Idolatry. However anybody who actually read the Bible from cover to cover and as a result knows what actual idolatry is will know that Catholic/Orthodox Iconography doesn’t even come close to the absurdity of idolatry. Daniel Chapter 3 has a very detailed depiction of Idolatry. The people there unironically and wholeheartedly believed that a statue that Nebuchadnezzar had made WAS God. In other cases people would leave lavish meals before statues and even sacrifice their own children to them. The day I see that in a Catholic Church I’ll leave. I haven’t and God Willing nobody ever will. The Church has condemned Iconoclasm as a heresy since around the 7th or 8th century. Jews and Muslims are also Iconoclasts, which should be concerning for anyone who claims to be Christian. Your beliefs are more similar to those who reject your God than those who believe in Christ’s Divinity.
There’s also absurd conspiracies about how the Council of Nicea was some Roman plot to conquer the Church so it would become pagan. I’m not even going to dignify this with a long response. I’m only going to say that Christ promised that his Church that he built on the Rock would not be overcome by the gates of hell. If it was then Christ is a false prophet and not only is Christianity a farce, any religion who draws their origin from Abrahamic promises is also a farce. This belief shows such a shocking lack of belief in God’s transformative power that it’s frankly offensive.
A final word of advice, if anyone comes to you saying they know a truth and they claim to be either Pentecostal, Evangelical or Baptist ignore them outright. They’re so far off the mark that calling them Christians is only possible because they confess Christ is God. Everything these groups believe is either caused by nonsensical interpretations of scripture or just completely made of gibberish. I generally advise not taking advice from any Protestant, but some of the more High Church ones are at least kinda sensible. Anglicans, Lutherans and even Presbyterians (as much as I personally disagree with Calvinism) are at least grounded in scripture for the most part. They ignore sacred tradition, but they at least have half the picture. Albeit with some erroneous theories in some cases.

Also yes, technically God will make a “New Earth”. Although it may be more accurate to say that the barrier between Heaven and Earth will be torn down and the two will become one unified reality under Christ. That being said I’m not well studied on the parousia, I focus much more on learning what my day to day responsibilities are before God so I’m not the one to talk to when it comes to prophecy. We all have a judgment day (death) that will almost certainly come first and woe to he who isn’t prepared for it.
Catholicism is a false religion with dangerous doctrine that will send you to Hell! Trust in Jesus and go to a Bible loving church! Get out of that cult for your soul depends on it!

Before watching this video, I was pretty confused on what my own religion was about. It was rather following all the rules to a tee or doing nothing because you're already saved. Because of this, I've had some really bad habits that I knew I had to break away from but had no motivation to, but after watching this video, I think I can finally understand what Christianity is, making yourself better for the sake of God. Starting today, I'm going to try reading my Bible more often as well as stopping what ever bad habits I have now. This video helped me a lot and I have only you and the Lord to thank for it.
That's awesome! just a note to be careful about 'making yourself better' - the sanctification process (which is a fancy word that means getting better) isn't done by our own strength (a.k.a. trying really hard), but it is instead done by God, when you accept Jesus into your heart! I encourage you to do some research and find a local church community that you feel comfortable turning up at on a Sunday. Strong community is really important to being strengthened and encouraged in your faith. Also, if you're not sure where to begin in the Bible, try the letters closer to the end called Romans, and keep reading from there :D

None of us are perfect, but we can strive toward it, which is what matters. Being a Christian means repenting after sinning, getting back up, and striving to not sin again. Just like the thief on the cross. If you have enough faith in your final moments, even though you might not have been baptized or gone to church, then you can still be saved if you have true faith. Going to church comes from the love of God. Just like in a relationship. You don't have to give them love and support, but you do it because you love them.
That’s not what it means at all
@@Perspicacityd1 So you are saying one has to be sinless and perfect to inherit the Kingdom? As said in the Bible. We inherit the Kingdom of God not through works, but by faith alone. I did not say "you don't have to stop sinning" or "it's okay if you sin, just repent afterwards and it's forgiven". That is not what I said. You have to keep fighting to stop sinning. If you fail, it will disappoint God, but if you get up and keep fighting that sin and stopping it, though failing many times, our Lord will be glad.
@@waffleox I completley agree where i bump head with you is the "repenting of sin" repentance or metanoia in greek means a change of mind or change of heart which is why i believe repenting is a one time act in which we change from unbelief to belief in the detah burial and ressurection of Jesus.Repenting of sin is not in the bible and God himself even repented according to the bible. My belief is unpopular but i believe once we are saved nothing can seperate us from God its called Free Grace theology check it out.
@@waffleox If it was up to us, we would fail and we will continue to fail because we have a sinful nature and that nature will be with us until we die. Those that do not become a true Christian before they die will continue to sin forever. Hell will not stop the sinner from sinning. A true Christian is still a sinner but we are a redeemed sinner.

Well done! This is a great breakdown of very real ways that people may not realizing they struggle. It’s clean, full of Bible verses, and to the point. You don’t shy away from hard topics, and you also provide the same grace the Bible uses. You give the solution, which is Christ Himself and the Bible. I tend to err more naturally on the legalism side, and it’s good to be aware of catching myself. I think, even when we are saved well and truly with full understanding of grace through faith, that we still have to contend with our flesh-even as new creations with new spirits. Well done, Blue, and great video!

Very well made video! I can tell you're passionate about it and I want to encourage you to keep going! I appreciate videos that make a point to clarify what the Bible actually says, not just what people think it says. Good stuff! God bless you!
If someone goes to hell, it’s because they are NOT a Christian, period. They aren’t saved, or ever were saved.
Being saved means recognizing who you are (a sinner that cannot save yourself), in light of who God is (holy, just righteous), and then turning to the only one who can save you…which is Christ. Then good works (fruit) should follow as the result of your salvation. Not just good works, but conviction over sin.
If no good works ever begin to show, and you continue to sin without it ever decreasing and you also have absolutely no conviction over your sin…then the Bible says you’re not saved, and you need to reevaluate your eternal situation.
This means the true question of this video should be "who is a Christian?" Anyone who identifies as one? The video seems to use that definition, while you don't.
@@praevasc4299 exactly my problem with so many of these videos. They are labeled in some way to mashes it out to be that Christians can go to hell if they don’t do something. That would be based on works, and not grace.
So does jeffrey dahmer get to go to heaven all because he changed his ways and became a believer in christ?
@@B_human_personJJ That's not for us to decide. That's literally not for us to decide. Whether the was truly born anew in spirit or he only pretended, lying both to himself and God to try to secure a "ticket to heaven", is for God to decide, not us.
@@B_human_personJJ anyone who repents and pours their faith in Christ will go to Heaven. Doesn’t matter who they are or what they’ve done…“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23).
Here’s an interesting thing to contemplate…we are told that all scripture is literally God’s spoken word, through the prophets and apostles that he used to write it… “All Scripture is breathed out by God,” (2 Timothy 3:16).
After realizing that, look to the life of the Apostle Paul. Paul used to persecute God’s church. He literally hunted down Christians throughout the land and imprisoned them and was one of the main people that cast a vote that put them to death. Paul said of himself, “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost,” (1 Timothy 1:15).
If all scripture is literally God’s own words spoken and written down for us, then God wants us to know for certain that even Paul (who God considered to be the worst of sinners) was still capable of being saved by his grace and power. Paul; who mercilessly hunted down and persecuted Christians, was still saved and…even used greatly by God.
So yeah, even if Jeffrey Dahmer had repented at the last minute and turned to Christ, then he will be in heaven and forgiven.
What you need to understand is that sin is sin. A person who is a God neighbor, and nice and productive member of society is still equally as worthy of God’s judgment, as a man who is a murderer…because they are both sinners and unsaved without Christ.

Okay so no, but also yes, I agree with the first part.
2:30 and both of these are common complete misinterpretations. (0:23)
2:14 and this is the opposite: Should we continue sinning so that grace may increase? Absolutely not! (Romans 6)) 7:10 though it's bit better in my language the English still captures it for the most part, you'd be surprised though how often the "limited/restricted" nature of the English language leads to weird translations and interpretations.
7:54 Disagree here, a common way to explain it but not the correct way, a better way would be "sin is disordered love, and sin is addiction." to be clear I'm not stating all addiction is sin but I am stating all Sin is addiction. More importantly, for example Alcohol is not a sin in itself, even consuming too much Alcohol is not yet a sin, it becomes a Sin when Alcohol is the most important thing in your life (even if but for a moment when consuming too much). Sin is is placing something at the center of your heart which is not supposed to be there. None of these things are inherently bad: Your own Ego, Food, Money, Another Person, Love, Dreams, Work, etc. But none of them can handle the "weight" of your soul.
Your point still stands, but rather the verse is trying to say *if you understand the Gospel* you will "go out and sin no more" even if that doesn't mean you'll never fail/sin again. It means that if you understand the heart of it all, you realize the harm you do to yourself and in turn god with sin and the seriousness of it.
After all if you're forgiven for something really serious like let's take a simple example, throwing a brick though someone's window but you have no money to pay for it. They say "I forgive you, you don't have to pay for the window" heck grace goes even further than that and replaces the window perfectly. But after that you don't go and throw another brick through the window because if they hadn't paid the window for you, you'd be in deep shit.
However you can't say like the title *most* Christians go to hell XD
and you're pretty shortsighted with your last part.
Not only do we have no ability or authority to decide or even speculate really whether a person goes to hell or not because we do not know their heart,
on top of that there's still a moment before "Judgment" or rather before the final choice, in which all dead are resurrected and God lives on earth during this period everybody essentially gets as fair a shot as you can get at *Choosing for God* and not against him.
And then lastly the problem with people's perception of hell is often kind of because of either descriptions of it or comparisons drawn to Greek mythology etc.
Whereas no matter how it's "poetically" described sometimes as "the/an ocean/sea" (death) sometimes as fire etc. (suffering)
But basically it's the same downwards spiral that sin already puts you on just "continued indefinitely" and then lastly on top of that it's worse because it's outside of the presence of God. Whereas now theoretically you'd be "in hell" yet still benefit from "common grace" and are still inside of the presence of God.
But if you at the end of the beginning decide to choose against, God, Love, People and ultimately really only choose for yourself and crown yourself to be your own God. Then you kinda put God in a predicament because, well he's Good, and Perfect Good meaning he *can't* simply reject your free will to do so.
So instead there's "Hell" which sure is physical but it is essentially the only place where God *isn't* , it's the place where you can go if decide you do not want to be in God's presence at all. Except then you'll be left with just yourself and continue your downwards spiral. "Keep digging your hole"
It's not simply some cruel punishment, because God is not cruel.
Rather it's the simple consequence of your own choice, Everyone gets or will get ample opportunity to "stop digging" and you'll be helped out of the hole.
However that's optional, you can *choose* to reject grace, and keep digging and stay in the hole.
And there's extremely few examples even in the Bible of people from who we could say with any amount of certainty that that's the choice they made and they won't change it ever. For starters Satan, and secondly Cain tries pretty damn hard to almost be his equal or some sort of anti-christ, at the very least that's the attitude he's giving in the story that was written down. No one is beyond Redemption, but redemption is still a choice.
So it's misleading to say "most Christians are going to hell"
instead it'd be more accurate to say "Most Christians are very sinful and have a poor understanding/grasp of the Gospel." But even with that you *must* account for Grace.
Otherwise them being saved would once again *depend on them* rather than on Christ.
Because if they interpret it wrong be it legalism or licentiousness then it's "their fault" but that's not how the Gospel works heck even if you can't read nor understand the Bible *you are saved.* You can neither save nor condemn yourself you can only accept or reject the fact that you've been saved.
So no matter how flawed or sinful a person is, if they can "accept Christ" than in it's simplest form that's all it takes.
And I of course mean that in their heart and not with their mouth. But that's partially what those "thousand years" (be it figuratively or literally)
are for, Christ will be on earth so logically any and all flaws, mistakes and misinterpretations will be made clear. Legalism, Licentiousness etc.
When Christ asks "where were you when I was hungry?" etc.
It does not mean those Christians he asked are at that point "beyond saving" but rather they already made the choice against God.
Point is... God is ultimate Good and Ultimate Justice, any souls that can be saved and wants to be saved *will be saved.*
God does not want anyone to go to hell, and so unless you deliberately choose for evil/hell I am certain you can and will be saved. Though saying anything specific is overstepping myself in reality "We do not know, who goes to heaven or hell" What we do know *is that God is good* and that it will be the reverse, it will be like Jonah. People who you might have given up a long time ago, God does not give up on until the very end.
Your channel's editing is very similar to redeemed zoomer's and I love it! Keep up the great work
If only I had your understanding/beliefs when I was your age. Keep sharing your wisdom coz it is all about Jesus!!!!
If the law must be kept at all then ALL the law must be kept!
James 2:10
Dear friend you have to divide salvation from service. Salvation is free yet service will cost you everything!
The call to salvation is - Acts 16:30-31 Sirs what must I do to be saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house!
The call to service is - Mt 16:24-26If any man will come after me,let him deny himself and take up his cross, and follow me!
Basic summary is that saying you're a christian is a lot different than actually living as a christian.
Thanks for the summary. Sadly I care too much about science. I am glad to know I am not the target demographic this soon. Later mate!
@@Pro-DiletanteScience and Religion are not mutually exclusive, you can believe in both.
Modern Science itself was created by the Medieval Catholic Church, most western universities and hospitals were built by the Catholics and Protestants and many famous scientists were themselves religious.
I want to go to church but it’s either I wake up too late, my mother wakes up too late, we have something to do that day, or a combination. I know it just sounds like excuses but if I had my own car I’d try my best to go to church.
Well it’s just to do what you can without compromising yourself.
(In other words. It’s your choice, just make sure it’s not affecting you negatively. You’re not made to suffer)
Kay, this vid popping up on my recommended can absolutely not be a coincidence. Anyways, great vid. Your points are great and the editing is too, feel much more chilled after watching this
I love the editing 🤩
Not to mention- the Roman empire saw Jesus as a threat and hung Jesus on the cross- normal it's a T shape and not a cross but they added a sign on top that says kings of kings :^ I just learned this at school :D also The Roman empire began to fall apart because of price increase and people refusing to pay taxes which caused soilders to not get paid :^
I have notes for anyone who wants to know!
I'm an Ex-Christian atheist right now I used to be into Legalism(as you put it) without moral upstanding I put myself below everyone for almost every kinda of sin tried or even did forgive those who did unforgivable things to me denied stuff that could prove Christianity false or not as reliable and was even willing to go to hell for him so he could use his time at someone I felt desvered it more(aka anyone else) and much more
I do like you put more research and passion into this than most Christian RUclipsrs and apologetics without restoring to lying or demonizing the other side
The problem is you said there are quotes in the Bible it doesn't say anything about Legliasim or Fircation(I think) I liked how you brought quotes not something straight out of thin air like Moral Civic and Ceremonial law that just sounds smart.
Why was this not said years ago centuries if the God of the Bible really existed Countless Biblical scholars analyzing it and it only turns up now
God didn't make himself clear on this to save people from hell but was clear about working on Sunday?
Well the Bible we have now is a copy of a copy, translation of a translation, interpretation of interpretations. The oldest version of the Christian Bible we have (its only scraps of pages) pointed to a polytheism not monotheism due to specific words used and phrases. We know its connected as they use God's name yahweh. It also makes sense as many religions at the time were polytheistic. My guess for the shift was likely the issue many of them had. Having a preference for one God over the others. one reason I don't follow the Bible its a product of 1000s of years of "I think this is what it should be/say" I mean during a time when only the rich or select ppl could learn to read and write they could change what the Bible says to what ever they wanted and no one could call them out on it
this video really helped me understand christianity, because i thought i was christian but turns out i was a mix of both of the things talked about in this video, so from now on i will try my hardest to resist temptation and follow god, god bless you all. :)
I am Christian. I have been and will be for the rest of my life. This is because I have had too many specific spiritual experiences to deny. However, I have had one question about the afterlife that I was hoping you may have some insight on, seeing how much you seem to know about the Bible. Here it goes:
There are many fundamental claims of Christianity, but among them seem to be two contradictory ones:
1- God is merciful, loving, and kind.
2- People go to hell.
Lets say that every Christian on earth will go to heaven when they die. That would mean 2.4 out of 8 billion people alive today would be in heaven for eternity. So, the other 5.6 billion people would burn in hell for eternity. Unless there is something I am not considering, that would mean there is more pain and suffering than joy and peace, and there likely always will be.
God knows everything. He knows the future and would have known before the creation of the world about this imbalance. If he did know about it, why would he allow it to happen? A God that allows more pain than joy to exist is not merciful, loving, or kind. He is cruel, distant, and apathetic. If God was merciful, he would be merciful to all. If God was merciful, he wouldn't create anyone or anything knowing they would suffer forever. If God truly was merciful, he would pick a different afterlife.
How is such imbalance Biblical? How does a loving God allow this to happen? How would anyone who belongs in heaven even enjoy it there knowing almost everyone they love is suffering forever?
That's a great question. It's definitely something a lot of christians struggle with and even the reason why a lot of people aren't christians. I've been playing on making a video about it for a while now, so stay tuned for it! It just might take some time to completed
I'll pray for you in the meantime, and thanks for the comment!
The existence of hell is a logical consequence of two important beliefs in Christianity:
1) God is perfect and holy, and is the sole provider of life
2) Humans can choose to be present with God, or to avoid Him.
By definition, someone isolated from God is in the state of “Hell.” Hell must exist as a consequence of the second bullet.
Hell must be a place (or mental state) of suffering as a result of the first bullet point - without God, there is chaos and death, since He is the sole provider of life.
Then I guess the question becomes, “Why allow humans to even be capable of turning away from God and allowing them to destroy themselves?”
That is a much harder question, but I’ll give it my best shot:
We know that proper Love is a mutual act - No one points to two people in a forced relationship and says that is proper love.
Rather, only when two people can say “I can either abandon you or be with you, and I choose to be with you” - anyone can agree that is true love, in any form of relationship.
Why did God make humans? So that he could love us, and so that we can love and worship him in return.
But the only way that love and worship can be proper is if we humans choose God of our own volition. Therefore, we were given the ability to choose Him, rather than be forced to be with Him.
Therefore, we must actively choose God over Hell, just as God as actively chosen to love us instead of abandoning us.
The hardest thing to accept as a Christian is that there are those who will never reciprocate love to God - those people have “hardened their hearts” against God.
I hope this makes sense. God bless you!
@@Datmexican I understand your argument but it doesn't justify the imbalance of joy and pain. I know many Christians who, if they had the opportunity to do so, would give up their "spot" in heaven for a loved one in hell. Most christians who belong in heaven likely wouldn't enjoy it there knowing their loved ones are suffering. If fallible, limited humans are capable of such love, why wouldn't God be? Yes, he died on the cross to save us but why was this act so limited? Why would he save only the minority? Why, in his benevolence, would he allow more pain than joy to exist?
